    This is such an easy violations to get FREE MONEY, every violation of the Title II of the ADA violations the Browns Act. Criminal charges apply! LOL Take ANY local public official out of office EASY!

    Insane to not have closed captions enabled on this video. Ralph Brown would be disappointed.

    For Brown Act restrictions on meetings outside a publicly noticed meeting, the video mostly focuses on meetings of a majority of legislative body members. But at 6:35, the presenters make the absurd claim that "A member may not have a discussion directly or indirectly with other members of the body outside of that meeting." As if a member couldn't talk with even one other member of the body (excluding serial meetings). Note that the video never cites language directly from the Brown Act. The section on "Permissible Communications" says only that a member of a legislative body may communicate with an individual - which is no guidance at all. The short section on public comment on agendized items says the public has a right to comment when the item comes up, but many, many legislative bodies in California allow comment only at the beginning and end of meetings. I'd be wary of relying on this video to interpret Brown Act responsibilities.

    The audio is messed up. Background music too loud and voices can't be heard. Try fixing audio and reposting. I can see this being a valuable resource.
