I would like to know some information about coming out of state to hunt there. What is the process of obtaining a permit/tag? A great video filming and hunting!
There is no way I would be the lead man with Randsom behind me. Multiple times he points his rifle at the lead guide. Terrible manners and I would expect better from a guide. Unloaded rifles kill people!
Having killed several bulls over 350 I can say with confidence that bull isn't over 350... I was disappointed to see that the hunt lasted only 5 hours. You wait for a lifetime tag like that and don't maximize its a shame.. Great ethical kill and as long as the hunter is happy that's all that maters in the end. Just don't over estimate the size of a bull.
Couldn’t agree more. No where close to 350. Sad deal to be told something is 20+ inches bigger than it is and believe it. That 7 by was a shooter all day. This bull is a great bull, but he is no 350+ by any means
So it always has to be about the rack then? Perhaps the hunter was just really pleased to get an elk. Trophy hunters are usually very anal, and criticize all other hunters, which just gives more ammo to the anti hunters. I did read your congrats, and that was very good of you, but sometimes it's not about the head. I am myself, a 100% meat hunter, but I have shot several 10 point whitetail deer in Ontario. I never did find a recipe for cooking the antlers however.
cartridge/ammo?
It’s a buffet……awesome

Caliber? Bullet?
Hey like the buttstock holder! What brand is that? Thanks 😊
Not degrading your hunt guys, but with that many animals, the problem would be which one. Great video.
What kind of rifle was he shooting?
Congrats on your first bull. Short on 3rds??? 😂😂😂😂😂.
360 that’s funny. Maybe 330 at best.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw it on the roof. I thought that ball goes 335, 340 max.
