Considering the platform popularity and your incredible HK knowledge, how does this channel not have a half million subs? I just stumbled across your content, and it’s awesome!
Greetings, I´ve just managed to buy a old A3 MP5 Stock which you have in the video at the bottom. The stock was very dirty and I had to dissasemble it for cleaning. Now at the assemble part I face the problem that I´m not able to tighten the tension spring without special tooling. May I ask you for help? I would be really thankful if you could make a dissasembly/assembly video tutorial. Thank you and best regards. Chris
I wonder if you can stick a sb tactical brace fork in the a3 end. Because the brace end is made out of aluminum, I’d prefer having an all steel construction.
Sir, can you point me in the right direction for parts for the A3F buffer system? I have several but on one of them the plastic sleeve with the knurling is cracked. Been searching everywhere just for buffer system parts.
i know this video is old but and i get no SP5 stock on an HK33. However, can i put the HK33 stock on an SP5 SBR? i don't care that it won't collapse all the way.
Will the Universal 40 /10 work on my POF MP5 Reverse Stretch? Shocking how expensive they are. If it’s all steal, it’ll be worth it. Also, is that thick padding solid rubber?
Can you tell me the Mfg date of 1HJ? I have one and it is quite robust, all steel other than the butt pad. I know for a fact that it is OEM-Came off of a Navy model but not sure of the date stamp. Thanks.
Great video. You didn’t mention the number of positions. Some say there are different A3F versions with different number of pull out positions. And I guess you can’t extend it fully in one pull.
Any tips on differentiating German made HK91/G3 A3 stocks from POF or MKE repros? It is my understanding that some of the German stocks were not marked.
One thing I didn't see on any of the "real" HK A3's was a date code. Usually imprinted in a recessed rectangular box located on the top right side. I have an aftermarket A3 that passes all of your tests for a real HK, except the Date code. I believe it is essential to be a HK? Also I believe the longer A3 buffer system was not added for the .40 Cal MP5's but for the "F" French versions that used +p ammo. The A3 with a bolt hold open cut and the longer buffer will work on the 10mm, 40 Cal & the "F" MP5's, but is not required or seen on standard MP5 .40 or 10mm A3 stocks only the later ones that would work on the "F" styles also.
not all the HK A3s are date coded....common to have no date code on the newer production A3s including the newer "old style" as I described in the video
Anyone know "why" HK is slow on producing these or not producing anymore? I understand the (scarcity + demand adds value), but doing so for the sake of charging 600-800 dollars for a stock is insane! Its not like HK products aren't selling anymore, so what's going on?
@@HKShootingwithDerekG Thank you Derek you are 100% correct, looks like they are more in the 560.00 range on the HK website. Pricing aside, do you know why they are so scarce right now? Thanks!
I learn so much from your videos Derek.
Godspeed. U have helped me with questions in the past much appreciated.
Greetings from behind enemy lines in Democrat occupied Arizona🌵

Thanks so much! This was exactly the info I was looking for, and could not find. Nobody I saw had all the examples laid out like you did. Excellent!!

Thanks Derek. Is the hk Sp5k pdw going to be a limited run firearm?
could i use a G3 a3 stock on a hk53? is the rail lenght the same?
No
@@HKShootingwithDerekG what if i only want to use the rails and the stock itself. Not the Receiver part. Just the the rails
@@MrThordythe rails and the backplate can both be modified to work….that is how Vector used to do them for their V53s….some were great, some sucked!
Nice. Question. How many different A3 F stock HK makes. Meaning length adjustments? Thanks

I'd love to see tips on how to replace the H buffer in the MP5/94 stock. I've been trying for days without any luck.
I have an original 93 stock in that maritime gray.
Which do you prefer, the SP5 or SP5k?

hard to find those parts right now for sure
Does the A3-F stock fit zenith zf-5
Yes

Is there adjustment possible on the MP5 F stock buffer system? I see a ring on the buffer.

So “F” is really for French?! Awesome and thank you!
How about the need SP5 .22 stock? Any idea if that will fit the SP5 9mm?
Where can I order this stock?
Can you make a video about fixed stocks please? How to differentiate between MP5 and 33 stocks
good idea, I'll try to do that for you
Great video. You didn’t mention the number of positions. Some say there are different A3F versions with different number of pull out positions. And I guess you can’t extend it fully in one pull.
A3F has a 2 and 4 position, the 2 opens in 1 pull (open, closed)

Hk doesn't paint the back side of the arms or buffer tube. Mke does. Hk 5 rivets holding the pad to the stock. Mke uses 6.

I have a C93. And I want to put a buffered carrier in. How do you headspace. Or is there no need to? Also thank you
always important to get bolt gap when changing a bolt group component.....how to do it is covered in one of my earlier videos
Do you know if the HK Webshop will be offering more of these up for sale in the future?
Of course, yes….when?
