This week, we travel from the Catskill Mountains to Lake Placid, in the Adirondacks. If you have read our blog post talking about "Our Why", you know that the ADK is super near and dear to our hearts, holding many memories for Eric as he and his family spent much time together there.

We definitely appreciate ours - we’ve had a couple campgrounds with low voltage issues that it’s helped us to change things up for sure.

Eric, Are you from the area? Loved this video as it brought back some memories. I too have hiked that trail to Marcy Dam with my Dad. The water falls in the video looked familiar, of course there are so many who knows. Was it the High Falls Gorge? The last time I tent camped was at Wilmington Notch Campground (2009), just south of where you stayed. It brings back great memories, as my Dad, daughter and her boy friend, hiked two high peaks during that stay. Keep the videos coming. If you are ever in the Lake George area again, look me up. Me own a 2670MK now and are enjoying it part-time.
Thank you so much for this comment! We both grew up in the Finger Lakes area, outside of Rochester but Eric visited the Adirondacks all the time with his family. The waterfalls were in the KOA, near High Falls - but we aren’t sure what they were called. Eric knew the the exact campground you mentioned and nodded in agreement and appreciation! Congrats on the 2670 - we absolutely love ours! We hope to spend a few weeks in ADK next year so we will have to take you up on that offer!
