Another good video Mike. I used to get in trouble with the revenue letting kids on the bus without an Oyster card. I told them I couldn’t leave the kids at a bus stop when they should be behind a desk. I was called in a few times at the garage but never got into trouble.
We can’t refuse the little buggers anyway. As much as we’d like too.

In Dublin buses take cash but it is exact coins only all the cash goes into a safe this was brought in in the 90s due to attacks on drivers. There is also a system called the Leap card very similar to the oyster card which about 90% of passengers use.
Sounds like a good idea. Society has created a need for card payments. It’s almost as if we’ve forgotten what cash is for. Thanks for watching.
@@_Mikes_Life the cash system will likely be phased out soon. They like to copy TFL a lot here. The problem with cash is the cash payments take longer to process and make dwell times longer.
coffee up near i live with the park&ride service under 16 go for free over 16 pay £3 return plus people got a bus pass for any people over 65 or disability plus we use bank card or phone or apple watches on buses here past few years now plus with one company smart card to top up at anytime if got a weekly monthly or yearly tickets on the smart card that good thing like an oyster card but it not it is nice doing things like this with what going on right now stay safe and happy driving

The blue for non emergency and red button for emergency on the MDT. The green button at the top is to talk to the garage controller. Each controller will run 2,3 or 4 bus routes.
