Remember a turbo is just an air compressor with a limited amount of volume it can flow. As ambient temperature/IATs change, your boost may change, but the volume of air is the same. Don't get caught up on psi differences when temps change, it's still flowing the max air it can on your setup. This is why on boost based tuning solutions, like yours, your car is faster in the cooler months. Air density at a given boost is greater in cooler months. 26psi in the summer at 90° will net you less power than winter. Been watching for years, keep it up 👍
So if it had all upgraded internals and a different turbo what would it make. Like how far can you push a honda 4 cylinder before its unreliable or just blows up? Need to know!

Your front brakes do 90+% of the braking, so rears aren't even needed. Back in the day folks would block them off and run only fronts in many road course racing circuits just to keep the crappy rear wheel cylinders from failing under high heat. Never effected their braking performance.

Stock everything on that H22 Honda block except for pistons, rods, springs, and retainers and still holding over 30lbs of boost pressure with flying colors and making 724hp is kinda freaking INSANE. That H22 has been in that red civic forever, and like Kyle said "been through so much" Great show guys, and awesome tuner equipment with your new car "ultrasound" Brent! I also told Cleetus he needs to build a turbo Honda and Y'all Boosted get a Chevy Big Block and commemorate each other. That would be quite a beautiful crossover.
A 62mm is not a big turbo. If you watch the old videos when he swapped to the 1.03 a/r housing from the .82 it made similar HP, but the power didn't roll over as bad. There might be a few extra hp to be made with larger piping and fixing leaks, but not much.
To put it in perspective, a friend switched from an HTA86 (~6262) to a 6266 and went from trapping 149 to trapping 163+. People running the "class limit" 6270 turbo are trapping 170.

less bro i bought a 98 ek hatch with a gsr swap for 2k i slapped a ebay turbo kit rc750 injectors hondata s300 v3 a 400lph fuel pump and a 8lb wastegate spring. stock engine only skunk 2 manifold. guess how much i made on pump 91 with spending a total of like 5k
It's very good 724hp with all about stock stuffs that the hatch have bro, keep the block safe for future better modifications, very nice numbers for low budget, keep it up guys, good job 💪

I was less afraid with 711 hp because almost 20 more hps it's more risky to blow out the engine, if you see they are using almost 100% of boost control, 26 psi, thats alot of air pressure for a stock engine, but is curious to see it 😃
got a project for you.. add hho gas into a turbo setup via a one way valves (in direction of flow to the engine) to see if there is any improvement in boost.. even include an electronic switch to only allow hho in under acceleration with cutoff when canister is empty and and produce hho and cutoff only when a specific pressure is produced inside a storage container.. similar to a paintball cylinder or high pressure canister with an input and output. so think of it like a on demand system.. producing hho not under acceleration and only utilizing hho under acceleration... short bursts.. might want to try this outside the workshop though and possibly a few runs when system is stable.

That's a hoot! You guys are hilarious. I ran an eBay turbo on my 3.1l diesel. Got it up to 19lbs and beat the crap out of it(hot egts ) , it just wouldn't die. When I went to a built Ihi ball bearing turbo it spooled to 15psi cruising on the highway, no + throttle.
How? That would likely be bad for the turbo and I don't see how that could be any better than injecting water/meth pre throttle body or into the intake manifold.
i want to see hho fed into an engine.. but of this calibre.. with a bottle and pressure regulator and one way valves.. just to see if it will increase hp even further. feed it in through a tapped turbo and just past the turbine itself so it allows some dilution.. either that or fed directly into the intake.
Crazy you can add a turbo, fuel system & tune to a Honda & make 700hp, it takes a completely forged rotating assembly, good block, heads, cam, intake & some sort of power adder to get that kind of power on a V8
It need upgraded rods and piston, and bolts. Honda crank already forged from factory, those jdm h22 block already semi closed from factory. Some honda need more, some need less
sieve5 Man a B18 motor can do 700 hp just as well if not more. I have seen many that are around 800-900 range with very high boost. Even the highest hp honda dynoed on PFiSpeed channel had a B18. Keep doing the B18 till it blows.
Science of Speed the highest hp Honda on this Channel was an f 22 sohc that made over 1000 hp i think it was a wago But better keep the b till it blows
@@stevesinventions8072 Yea you are correct, i was mistaking that one for the Mean green 875hp GSR B18 by Boyd & Sons, but anyway B18's can make over 700hp too it just depends on how much $ and work. The H22, F22 has more displacement so obviously it will always make a little more, but the B18 is a great motor for a lot of boost.
@@sieve5 Oh it will totally do 400 on enough boost, my completely stock GSR motor was making about 350whp on 14-15psi. But if i were you i would at least put some forged rods, and pistons in it, if you want to make it last for a while on that much power.
Please get a racing seat because It looks like if you got in a wreck your neck could snap back into the roll cage bar behind your head. Those GSR seats are comfy but it’s something to think about getting especially how much power it’s making. Idk if you have a racing seat I don’t remember.

Crazy you can add a turbo, fuel system & tune to a Honda & make 700hp, it takes a completely forged rotating assembly, good block, heads, cam, intake & some sort of power adder to get that kind of power on a V8

It need upgraded rods and piston, and bolts. Honda crank already forged from factory, those jdm h22 block already semi closed from factory. Some honda need more, some need less

sieve5 Man a B18 motor can do 700 hp just as well if not more. I have seen many that are around 800-900 range with very high boost. Even the highest hp honda dynoed on PFiSpeed channel had a B18. Keep doing the B18 till it blows.

@@stevesinventions8072 Yea you are correct, i was mistaking that one for the Mean green 875hp GSR B18 by Boyd & Sons, but anyway B18's can make over 700hp too it just depends on how much $ and work. The H22, F22 has more displacement so obviously it will always make a little more, but the B18 is a great motor for a lot of boost.
@@sieve5 Oh it will totally do 400 on enough boost, my completely stock GSR motor was making about 350whp on 14-15psi. But if i were you i would at least put some forged rods, and pistons in it, if you want to make it last for a while on that much power.

Please get a racing seat because It looks like if you got in a wreck your neck could snap back into the roll cage bar behind your head. Those GSR seats are comfy but it’s something to think about getting especially how much power it’s making. Idk if you have a racing seat I don’t remember.
