Did he really just have the ring gear issue doing a 1-2-1 in an AWD CRX???? Dude is the luckiest kid on earth!!! That could've been 6-8ks of worth of damage easy
@@ttteeelll so when you go from 1st gear to 2nd gear and rev out until you are ready to grab 3rd gear you have the wheel speed and transmission speed at "top of 2nd gear speeds". When you shift back to 1st gear by accident you transfer all of that wheel speed through the trans and into the engine and it will cause an "over rev". Instead of a 10,000rpm Rev limit let's say the car sees 12,000rpm or worse. They call this shift a money shift because the engine is not meant to rev that high and it can lead to valves smashing into pistons and really just ruining a majority of the components in the long block. If you have any other questions or that didn't make sense let me know!
The cost of building a Duramax race truck vs a Honda is like the cost of ramen vs wagyu steak. Much greater return on investment doing relatively cheap upgrades to the cars vs truck mods. This is coming from a built duramax guy, but as a business Kyle would be better off pimping the CR-V loo ol
Yeah the person who helped with the axle. Don’t forget the couple who got them a fender roller to borrow. And the peeps that hooked the Boiz up with a tent. 10/10 best fans 😇
I appreciate when people step up to help out, but they really didn't save any time at all. They were going on about how it saved them 1/2 the time, but if anything it actually took LONGER to get the part. Think about it, the shop said they can be there in 40 minutes. Ok, so they leave, and the guy goes 20 minutes toward them to meet half way. Then they have to find each other to make the exchange (taking up time that could have been spent by the delivery driver driving), and they both turn around and head back 20 minutes. So instead of taking 40 minutes total for the delivery it probably took 45 minutes. Sure, it saved the delivery guy an extra 40-45 minutes of driving because he didn't have to make the entire trip, but it didn't save them any time at all in the parking lot sitting in the rain.

Keep checking that axle. There may actually be a slight misalignment that’s causing a binding. That was some serious heat distortion on the axle you pulled out.
Very possible the binding is caused when the trailer weight is on the rear axle at road speeds and not that rock. He did say they had to center it and use the same length on each side. Perhaps its a touch off. I can also still hear nothing but metal on metal while on the line, where the clutch is self clearing out the billet.
