Joe & Mac is a series that is that should never be forgotten. Sure it had it’s ups & downs, but it was a great series. To bad Data East was creatively bankrupt & dissolved in 2003, as well as the planned 2011 remake being canceled. It’s sucks how such a awesome series that has so much more potential, even in today’s standards has been left in the dust. It’s super influential, it sure as hell made an difference on me, I consider Caveman ninja Joe & Mac to be one of Data East’s greatest franchises / games (except, Joe & Mac returns, that game while having a neat art style as well as enemies, did a bad number on the series, especially since it was the last Joe & Mac game ever made. OOF) I’m glad the series is starting to become (hopefully) more relevant again & I hope it stays that way. Joe & Mac were no ordinary 90’s characters, they have a legacy behind them. This guy is one of my favorite video game franchise’s. If we ever see or get any more Joe & Mac games in the future let’s hope they do the series justice, maybe even try to get it into 3-D, who knows. Let’s just hope the fans & people who like this series can help keep it alive. Glad you finally made more Joe & Mac bosses videos Shadowserg.
There's a charge attack in this version that could take care of the bosses quicker here (something the SNES version is missing), but it seems Shadowserg missed on that. [EDIT]: No he didn't. 6:20
I wonder how the enemy cavemen got the Dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures to work for them, as they are basically keeping the cavegirls captive.
They pretty much consider dinosaurs as giant organic tanks (The enemy cavemen leader fight at the end and during the first boss occasionally the caveman is spat out instead of the boulder), though seems like they still treat dinosaurs with respect, as they prefer building helicopter vehicles instead of riding pterodactyls.
The snes port went sum extra changes, including the ice cavern and dinosaur innards being stretched into entire levels and the lizard caveman being switched out for a devil.
@@Keezawea Meh, there's always creative games, however it's harder to find them since most of the main stream games are copy paste which he is probably talking about.
At least in the arcade, you can sorta avoid doing that if you're accurate and manage only to hit the eyes. In the SNES version, you have no choice but to slaughter its damn nose off.
i remember this game also those two stages are very easy to complete but after the levels becomes from the hell if you play on a real arcade machine with coins thats in your play on a mame emulator you repeat the frustating boss fight also the final boss of this game is a boss taken from a dark souls game
It was only shown in the Japanese port. I guess it might of caused outrage some groups that vote against violence against wemon kinda thing. @@dmcmusiclover2995 That's because T-Rex and this boss use the same head sprite to save some space on the graphics. Having teeth is like a fiction added to it. After all, we're talking about the game, which contains a mutated Caveman-Dinosaur as a Final Boss.

Hey Shadowserg, I've always tried to find a way to contact you but I never could, so I decided to leave a comment here with the hopes of you reading it, I solo developed a game and published it a year ago, It's a pixel platformer game on Android, I put so much effort in my game, be it story wise or gameplay wise, It's also a hard game (especially the bosses), I wish you could try it, and perhaps make a no damage boss videos? because if you do that, It will help me so much, the game is called "Reaper of Immortals" on Android, I hope you see my comment..

There's been a dozen different killer plants that looked like that before and after Super Mario Bros. They might as well have sued people for using turtles and mushrooms.
"The Little Shop of Horrors" did it well before Nintendo even considered getting into electronics. 1960, specifically. Of course, the concept of a carnivorous plant is nothing new to even real-life nature.

01:25 02 Giant Mandrake
02:46 03 Giant Pteranodon
03:44 04 Ichthyosaurs
04:53 05 Brachiosaurus

09:01 Final Boss - T-Rex & Mutated Caveman

3 ending is so funny haha
a question this mandrake plant in real life is not a carnivorous plant?
09:01 what kind of trex is that?!
i love the late 80s early 90s, they just stick ninja into their titles for no good reason.
That trick shot on the Dino Skeleton at 8:40 was magical

Joe & Mac remake? Yes, but 3-D? No! Some games weren't meant to stay 2-D, they would lose their charm.

The 2nd boss' kill animation scared me as a kid; how was I supposed to know a plant PICKS YOUR BONES CLEAN?
the giant mandrake?
a question this plant in real life is not a carnivorous plant?
Same feeling as carnivorous plants in metal slug 3
Alanis Tharon if you thought that was terrifying then take a look a the mammoth it's disturbingness incarnate
I remember playing this on an arcade compilation machine.. 💜💜💜
1:13 Joe: Take that! We humans never lived with dinosaurs! Well, except for birds.
All I ever wanted was to play this arcade game at the movie theater.
6:58 My Favorite Boss
All along, it WASN'T a red T-rex, but a GIANT SNAKE, with a recycled T-rex head (as revealed in the remake).
00:31 01 T-Rex
01:25 02 Giant Mandrake
02:46 03 Giant Pteranodon
03:44 04 Ichthyosaurs

Weird, last boss in SNES version was a devil. He was annoying
The snes port went sum extra changes, including the ice cavern and dinosaur innards being stretched into entire levels and the lizard caveman being switched out for a devil.
yes
Sadly it lacks the charge attack, which would make the boss fights a bit faster
final boss from the arcade version is MORE FRUSTATING AND CHEAP
Time when games were creative and fun. Nowadays ... 😕
I hope your comment is sarcastic, because there´s still a lot of fun and creative games.

Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja - All Bosses + Ending - All Boss Fights
T-Rex
Giant Mandrake the Legendary Giant Tyrant Triffid
Big Pteradon
Ichtyosauruses
Brachiosaurus
This is different from the one JonTron played. Also, which emulator do you use for Arcade games?
Not OP, best working one is MAME I'd say
