Only good thing about NM is the lower cost of living. Nothing to see or do, poor educational system and Democrat officiala following the failed policies of California with regards to Homelessness and Drug addiction.
More to do outdoors than most southern states where I come from. NM is basically a more interesting southeastern state with better weather. Similar crime and education stats. Of course both red and blue officials bring problems.

That's why you avoid ABQ. It's like Memphis in TN. Both very high crime per capita states because of one city.
