If you wanna store it without using wrappers and in balls, I'd suggest decreasing the water content and rolling it in sugar. It should do good for a few days given low temperature.
I love imli candies.. I will definitely try it... There is used to be one more variety red in colour and applied on a stick , looked like I've cream but very sweet and tangy.. I miss it😊 I like imli balls coated in sugar.. wow so nostalgic mouthwatering,😅😋

Jaggery 100gm
Red chilli powder 1tsp
Chat masala 1tsp
