How to Solve the Stone Garden | Shadow at the Water’s Edge

In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, Nancy finds a boulder with images indented for small stones to be placed. Locate the four missing stones around the garden. Enter the lobby and read the book about stone gardens and identify the stone shapes that represent the images you saw.
The four missing stones are found here:
1. (Body stone.) With the shed on your left and the bridge on your right, look on the ground by the lantern for the large, tall stone.
2. (Soul stone.) Behind the cherry tree (with the garden shed to your back) on the ground, you’ll find the pyramid-shaped stone with a wider base.
3. (Branching stone.) At the base of the large stone lantern, you’ll find the stone with the top wider than the base.
4. (Ox stone.) Near the entrance to the lobby, look toward the bench on the (right if facing the lobby, left if facing AWAY from the lobby) on the ground by the lantern. You’ll find the stone with a square base and tapered top.
The heart stone is already at the boulder.
1. Body stone: largest, tall stone.
2. Soul stone: pyramid-shaped with a wider base.
3. Branching stone: the top wider than the base.
4. Ox stone: the stone with a square base and tapered top.
5. Heart: flat and square.
