They are great teaching moments, and if she's down in one piece you have succeeded!

Lucky there was no damage on that nose over, nice flying though in the wind...jeff.

The left turn tendency on take off isn’t due to torque roll but P-factor which is prop wash hitting the side of the vertical stabilizer. If you ease into the throttle instead of putting the hammer down, you will experience less p-factor. Nice belch by the way LOL.

Wind has been 15mph sustained here in DB as well. Like flying a kite with the lighter airframes. If you are ever around DB, we have a very nice club/airfield and are allowed to bring guests. Open invite!

Ive learned that in brisk winds like that to just stay out of the flaps altogether the wind provides enough air braking as is to not need flaps some the worst crash landings ive ever had always involved stong winds n flaps! I see this all the time with Rc Pilots making this same mistake

Well despite what You Tube claims this video is a couple years old and I have learned that lesson...the hard way...but I learned it...lol

@@FatGuyFliesRC Thats the fun of this hobby to see your own growth and progression to peice together what you might have done wrong or made a mistake on and as you get more stick time hopefully we all become better Rc Pilots and keep our beloved planes in the hanger or in the air. Love your clips and glad your wife is helping out with the filming of them.Cheers my brother.
