Killer Instinct deserves a Movie so badly! a "R" rating seems very fair! so much potential behind this Amazing Game!😎✊👊🤛 it does not get as much recognition or Respect as the other fighting games like, Mortal Kombat , Street Fighter, Tekken,
@@holorn1280 Yeah I do mate. I'm using Logic Pro on a 2010 Mac and even with a new SSD and the RAM maxed out at 16gb it struggles. Constantly having to freeze tracks just to be able hear the song as I go along. It's a pain in the ass.
@@PaulOwenMusic Ah ah dang. I feel this at a personal level. I love doing orchestral stuffs but it's like you need to have a nuclear computer to run the damn thing. I should really invest in an external SSD tho (I have a laptop)...
@@holorn1280 Haha agreed! I put all my samples/VI's on external drives just to give my Mac a fighting chance. Probably should invest in a new system soon...until then just keep going through the slow painful process! Thanks for stopping by, really appreciate it. 👍
Hmm, although an R rating would be sick, I’m not sure if the theme is gonna be adequate for it. It’s not near the same amount of gore and stuff as Mortal Kombat.
@@noiro_juju very true but, it has potential maybe something along the lines of the Tekken movie, just enough action and violence that is in moderation, trust me, they can make it happen,
Great work here mate. Didn’t Klayton write the soundtrack to this? He’s a massive inspiration of mine.. He’s a master of the mix. The production levels top notch here. Guitars sound punchy and the drums are huge
I appreciate that Ryan, thanks dude. It was a guy called Robin Beanland originally but this is Mick Gordon's reimagining(?) for the remake of the game that came out a few years back. Check it out mate, there's some decent stuff on the soundtrack.
@@PaulOwenMusic I shall check him out, I remember Klayton saying before he did some work on killer instinct before so assumed it was him! The soundtrack is awesome from what I’ve heard
Just seen this on the Reddit page after going to post my own cover. Your production is crazy good! What are you using for the rhythm guitars? Nailed that Mick Gordon, noise gatey sound. Really good!
Hey thanks man, I was using a mixture of live guitars with VI's (Shreddage II, Ample Sound AME and Hellrazer). I think I added some synths to it as well just to fill it out. Appreciate you taking the time to comment mate. Have you posted your cover? I'd be interested to hear it 👍
@@PaulOwenMusic thanks for taking the time man, I'm always looking for ways to beef up my rhythm tone, from amplitube or just going straight from my actual amp head, but haven't ever gotten to the beefiness level I want yet. My cover is up on my channel yes :) it's a bit more in line with the o.g. KI than Mick Gordon, but I love both versions.
@@MrConeman I listened mate and it's excellent. You really capture the tone and feel of the original. As for the beefiness, it's all about EQ, utilising the bass for the low end and layering. Personally I think you've got nothing to worry about in that sense though 👍
I can just hear the slowed and softened piano version of this music. This is such a MASTERPIECE!!

Agreed! Especially the most recent versions with the amazing soundtrack.
Excellente! Killer Instinct é Vida 👏🏽
Thank you dude. Glad you like it 😎

Thanks man, took me a while to get there!
@@PaulOwenMusic What software do you use ? I'm on cubase. Do have performance issues with everything ?

Thought this vid was dead! Really pleased it's still out there. Thanks for the comment dude, really appreciate it 👍
Killer Instinct Needs a Movie Soon, by a Great Director and a awesome plot! Also, with a solid "R" rating!
