I disagree with round 4 the wear on the forth tooth by you all's standards obviously indicate that the deer was 2 1/2 years old. Other then that I very much appreciate and enjoy your informational videos. Thanks
Very informative series, over the years I’ve gotten very good at aging deer on the hoof, and I’ve watched my taxidermist use a set of replica jaw bones made to age deer with but he simply compare and see what looks closest. With the knowledge of what to look for that tool will be more efficient. This is a a skill I’d like to master.
8/9... however, I believe the age of the last jawbone s incorrect. It looks like a 6.5+ deer due to the flattening or "dishing" of the first molar. The video says 5.5+. Nothing in the other two videos said anything about aging a deer at 5.5+ but up to 6.5 then 6.5+.
The lack of subscribers to this awesome channel likely reflects the ignorance in the hunting community. Thank you for the content keep up the good work.
yes the last one is for sure 6.5 plus years according to the second video.

8/9! Thanks for the lesson!
9/9 can I practice dentistry at the deer farm now? Or down to the barber shop?
8/9 this was great
I got all of the years right except for 2 and I was 1 year off on both
The second 3 year old was not a 3, dark wasn't twice as wide on second molar.
Great.
I assume this also works the same with the top teeth?
