Wow! Incredible views and epic sunset! And nothing like meeting people who you only spend a day with, but can feel like you've known them a lifetime, simply because they are like minded! That's one of the best parts of travelling
It's always so nice to go along with you on your daily adventures! You both smile a lot and have a nice easygoing outlook. Watching you always inspires me in one way or another. Hope you are well and feeling good. Cheers!
The useless loop started with tough roads, but it led to beautiful beaches with breathtaking sharks. Sarah and Haymish were the angels of this journey. ❤
Awesome video as always Nick and Matilda. Y’all’s Australian adventure is and going to be so epic can’t wait to see 🇦🇺 through y’all’s point of view and see amazing landscape through y’all’s amazing Drone shots. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s journey around the world. 🌎
I am telling ya...you are so lucky..you meet the coolest people! My teeth were chattering on this trek! Did you hike the Useless trail? Nick's like me...never waste any chips!😂❤
This was an epic episode for sure! This has to be one of the most remote, but untouched places I have ever seen. Plus, the video was so well shot and even the music was cool (nice incorporation of the didgeridoo). This has to be the some of the best content on TH-cam -- and really, something even beyond the imaginations of the people who created this platform. Thanks for blowing our minds and calling to our adventurous spirits.
Awesome adventure. Anyone watching you guys should be inspired to get out there and enjoy life. Wife and I are about to start our own four month adventure traveling from FL to AK and we can't wait. We're pulling a small tear drop travel trailer and while I would love a Land Rover or an old Toyota Land Cruiser or Sprinter, my wife of 45 years has said NOPE, I need a shower and a/c. Best of luck to you guys. I'm amazed you guys don't have more subscribers; great video, entertaining, awesome couple, and a great rig.
amazing that is such a great journey / route! we love Yukon on the way !!!! ahaha that s fair the important is to get out and travel :) and if a little bit of comfort helps that still counts!!!
Most eastern point is at Byron Bay, most north is Cape York and most shoutherly is Cockle Point in Tasmania. Loved the video, great camera work and presentation.
This was just WOW!! What a great video the the sharks, landscape, and the ocean sunset were all incredible to watch! I can only imagine experiencing it for real!! Thank you for taking us along!
Cool landscape in a strange way. Beautiful sunset though. Ya the washboard roads suck. I live on one! It’s awesome how you two always find the nicest people to spend time with. Nice to know Nick didn’t waste any chips! haha.
Great music and drone work on the drive to Steep point! Very cool shot of the sharks in shark bay! It's nice to have the drone to see area you can't see from the road.
I just stumbled on your channel two weeks ago, I think I have to go back and watch all your videos. How come you have such a small number of subscribers? You must do something about it. Safe travels!!! Greetings from Chicago, USA.
I'm loving it and I'm not even there. 😃 I had some work to do on my property today and I said hell no, I have to see your video FIRST....😂 Beer in the bottle I remember Aussies used to call them stubby. 🍺🍺🍺
Evening footage 🎥 of shark frenzy was scary. I think Nick I was a bit concerned when you were standing on the moving boat with shark tailing you guys 😁
Wow! It looks like Australia🦘🦔🦈 is living up to her promises. You two seem 💑 to always make friends to share your adventures with. Stay safe and happy trails in the great Outback. Love your videos. 💖Cheers 🍤🍤🤠
Agreed! this is so lucky ! those guys were so kind from the get go and immediately invited us... it was so kind. thank you rainy days! I hope it is sunny wherever you are !
Yeah you better check the bolts, those are really bad corrugated roads for Albo! That shark must have been very hungry, patiently waiting for one of you to fall over board 😉
I’m sure someone’s mentioned it already, but the most easterly point of Australia is Byron Bay. Been there. 😉 I’ve not been to Shark Bay on my travels, only driven past. It looks amazing. Also, great video again. It really looks like you’ve found your particular way of making videos. Love it!!
Doritos Dust - The Breakfast of Champions ! Another great video! As always - thanks for sharing! Oh No! I'm out of popcorn for the next episode. No problem. I'll just break into my cache of chips. Oh look - Doritos Nacho Cheese. Where did they come from.....
@@NextMeridianExpedition haha I know what you mean. It makes or brakes the video. I did TH-cam video too and finding and selecting the right music took more time than the editing itself :)
Awesome sunset and sharks. You look like you're enjoying being back in your comfort zones of swimming in dangerous waters and teetering at the top of high cliffs. First time I've heard anyone cheer for tarmac, but was it Mathilde or Albo?
It’s been many years since we have been to Steep Point, 20 years, and that was in my Land Rover Discovery, a beautiful place, corrugations were no different then. Hope that you enjoyed the scenery. 😊👍
Whoa. You only uploaded 3 minutes ago! I'm on you like white on rice. Since you will be in Australia for a while and probably near water a lot of the time, why don't you buy a boat, then sell it before you leave? On second thought, many of those roads you drive would probably destroy a boat on a trailer or make them more difficult. New travel partners. That should be fun. Looking forward to more adventures and beautiful scenery.
oooh we thought about it! but it would make our travel so much less flexible... but we seriously thought about it. also we dont have a license... etc etc.. . but we would love to
@@NextMeridianExpedition Maybe you can rent a boat when you get to the Barrier Reef. After you do that, you may have had enough water, diving, snorkeling, spear fishing, waves, etc.
Wait....whole the video is beautiful and I loved it, but I can't stop thinking about a tiny detail mentioned: why is it ILLEGAL to drive without shoes in France?! 😱😱
hhahahahha excelent question. So it is forbidden to drive bare feet or with flip flops. flip flops it is because they can slide and you d loose grip of the pedals that could create an accident. bare feet they say it is because if you hurt your feet on the pedals you could loose control or if you have an accident and need to exit the car you could hurt yourself.... it is serious you can get fined for thathhahahah

Great to see you guys in Australia and with a new engine! ...This video is a little over dramatic re the WA roads and desert romanticism. More than half the Australian continent is desert. You’ll get used to it. There are many far rougher roads to come, which are simply normal for anyone who lives in northern Australia. Safe travels and slow down to enjoy :)
OOhhhh I imagine we will get used to it then but those were honestly the worst corrugations we ve seen since the beginning of the journey and over long distances we met a number of Australians on the way who were saying it was the same for them. surely we ll find worst if say ... not sure we can ever get used to corrugations... hahaha we ll just need to go back and tighten bolds every trip.
There are videos of sharks ramming boats in Australia and overturning them, and the people being turned into shark food. You are very vulnerable in a small boat, if it was to sink or get overturned it's over. 😢
Most easterly point in mainland Australia is at Byron Bay, which is an overcrowded, overrated cesspool of humanity... some people like the place, i guess...
The color of the water is beautiful, but I do not like the landscape of this part of Australia, it is very boring and I don't like the sharks and I don't like all the bugs. I think I would be more into the northeastern part of Australia where it's very tropical. ❤

The water was warm because this is how sharks like their soup😀 Fortunatatly they miss the opportunity to taste the "NME Doritos flavored"😅

thats likely to be HammerHead Shark 🦈 chasing Rays in Shallows. Generally they dont attack humans etc.
