What a blessing Paul and his Mom’s recipe. Bless all of you at the Friary. I’m making almond cookies for Christmas. Ty. And I can say my extended family says TY❤
St. Francis of Assisi loved almond cookies. Go Inside the Friary kitchen with Fr. Paschal Mary and learn how to bake these delicious treats. #Christmas #Recipes #Cookies #Baking #MFVAFriars
I love the concept of inviting us "Inside The Friary", Of course, the almond cookie recipe was an added treat. Merry Christmas to everyone at EWTN from a daily viewer in SW Florida ( the summer home of Santa Claus ) Ho Ho Ho !!!
This treat of the Annunciation Friary is awesome because they give me a virtual tour of the friary I'm just curious who runs the friary and how it works
I think Father needs a special treat from persons who made it from home rather than from a paid cook. Cookies are not a needed nutrient when Home and Family is not who baked it under a warmth of charity. It is presented so stark and too much machine.
There is also something special coming from the hands of those who answered God's call for the vocation of cooking and baking. No need to throw shade on someone else's labor. St. Benedict even taught us ora et labora where your prayer is your work and your work is your prayer.
This is one of my favorite inside the Friary episodes.
