There are a lot of firewood guys out there cringing at you grinding that white oak bigger than 6"! Hahahah! That's a lot of delicious smoke brisket there!
Very nice job as always. The minute that saw got pinched and you turned towards the camera your body said it all. Even when the job fights you guys just push through and deliver which shows the great work ethic.
John, you can't be tell'in everyone where Josh went on vacation, you guys are TH-cam rock stars now. Poor Josh probably has a hundred thonged beauties chasseing him around FL now. That's a serious problem for a single guy to have! LOL, Nice job guys!
love your work man not going to lie working for you would be amazing i love doing this kind of work around my house keep makeing videos and doing what you do best
I had a massive red oak do the exact same thing to me. Had to make 3-4 cuts then ran 100’ chain to my tractor and could finally pull it down! That could make a preacher cuss… lol
We had a leaner similar to what you had son we had an old bobcat with forks my dad built a platform with safety rails around it lifting me up in the platform with a chainsaw about 14 ft from the end in the ground and cut it with the chainsaw work great and finish similar to you did just so much faster though I was only 13 at the time great job though John keep up the good work make sure you give Willie a bronze Star LOL when he gets back
I wonder. Once free of the base wouldn't it have been easier to slide the trunk sideways with the chain until it either came down, or rolled over and came down?
Can't keep a good crew down! I expect the 'pucker factor' was pretty high when you were working on that big 'widowmaker'. Real glad it worked out, but sorry about the camera.
Money well spent getting rid of that eyesore to sell the home and property! Looks like nice load of logs on ruby red 🪵 Good work getting that leaner on the ground safely, thanks for the great videos, and hope josh has a great vacation!👍👋
John the Holiday man !!! It wasn't long that the young guys followed the rest for a long time !!! Let's see what are they up to ...? Best regards holiday people !!!
That was one stubborn tree! At least we got to see it on the way down! I'll bet your wives didn't like to watch this video. Scary stuff getting that one down.
I’m curious about how often you run into poisonous snakes and bee nests? I used to hunt rabbits in South Carolina during the winter months and when we had a warm day we always had our eyes peeled for snakes.
I was curious, did you ever consider fastening Willie to the bucket and lifting him about half way up and letting him cut the tree in half, it would probably have saved you half the time and would have probably been just as safe??? LOL
I need rehab im addicted to these vids.
That was a very challenging job site. Keep up the amazing work
Oh boohoo!! The very LAST second and we couldn’t watch it!! 😩😩Was terribly awesome to watch!
Crapola! That was two massive trees as were the ones holding the one up. Yeah for your team...perseverance paid off! 👍❤️

Nice job in a tricky area 👍👍👍😎😎
Just put chain around the base of the leaner and pull it to the side of the stump then pull it out and away. Works every time

A wedge might save getting a saw stuck. Thanks for the videos.
Tricky unsafe job done safely.
Great going guys!
I had a massive red oak do the exact same thing to me. Had to make 3-4 cuts then ran 100’ chain to my tractor and could finally pull it down! That could make a preacher cuss… lol

Awesome and stressful job, moving on to the next....
That was a really tough tree. Well done
We had a leaner similar to what you had son we had an old bobcat with forks my dad built a platform with safety rails around it lifting me up in the platform with a chainsaw about 14 ft from the end in the ground and cut it with the chainsaw work great and finish similar to you did just so much faster though I was only 13 at the time great job though John keep up the good work make sure you give Willie a bronze Star LOL when he gets back
What model chainsaw are you using and what size chain bar are you running?
Husqvarna 395xp with 28in bar
@@UpstateBrushControl Thank you very much.
I wonder. Once free of the base wouldn't it have been easier to slide the trunk sideways with the chain until it either came down, or rolled over and came down?
That was a tuff one, great job.
First time I could sense you were a bit pissed off on that job😄
About time.😉
I've never wanted to see a tree fall so much 😩 🌲🪓
good job boys
That tree would make some nice furniture
Can't keep a good crew down!
I expect the 'pucker factor' was pretty high when you were working on that big 'widowmaker'.
Real glad it worked out, but sorry about the camera.
Florida on vacation??? It's been super hott here.
John weld hooks or a D ring to your bucket or thumb. Saves time
395 was cuttin good
That's the most stubborn tree I've ever seen in my life!
Money well spent getting rid of that eyesore to sell the home and property! Looks like nice load of logs on ruby red 🪵 Good work getting that leaner on the ground safely, thanks for the great videos, and hope josh has a great vacation!👍👋
good job, super!!!!!
Thank you! 😃
John the Holiday man !!! It wasn't long that the young guys followed the rest for a long time !!! Let's see what are they up to ...? Best regards holiday people !!!
What is difference in trees that are pulp and trees that are logs?
How many RPM does the Blackhawk work at ?
Pelleur à 2 balles !!😆🤣🤣
That was one stubborn tree! At least we got to see it on the way down! I'll bet your wives didn't like to watch this video. Scary stuff getting that one down.
Damn, obstinate widow-maker. You probably thought you spent entirely too long pulling it down.
That tree sure made for a bad day and not to mention, pretty scary😳
That big tree was one big headache for you. You needed Letsdig18's volvo250.
40:02 sad we don't get to see the tree fall all the way after all that effort trying to get it down lol
How long is that trailer... What make...
Do you still have both asv’s?
That is one very stubborn tree.
I’m curious about how often you run into poisonous snakes and bee nests? I used to hunt rabbits in South Carolina during the winter months and when we had a warm day we always had our eyes peeled for snakes.
But I already liked, and I been subscribed and I was never anything but kind. lol
I hate ‘em when they are hung up like that. Makes for a dangerous day
The tree from hell just wouldn't go down
What all states do y'all travel to.
We stay in South Carolina about 97% of the time.
Great video!
Were you using one of those new 'NO GO PROs'?
I hear they save a lot of time when it comes to editing videos! 😉
I was curious, did you ever consider fastening Willie to the bucket and lifting him about half way up and letting him cut the tree in half, it would probably have saved you half the time and would have probably been just as safe??? LOL
Hey,i'm from Morrocco and i like to move working in usa, can you help me to find a job over there plz
👍👍😀🇨🇦
Didn't really think much about the size of the logs- last shot of logs on trailer- Good grief those are big logs.
Look at how highit comes on his hip when hes cutting the middle- if thats not 36 -40 inches 8 feet up ill eat my hat!
👍💪
