When I was young, there was a Yellow Pages ad for a contractor that said, “No job too big, no job too small.” In your case it’s “No job too big to do well, no job too small to do well.” Especially the latter. It’s easy to take the smaller jobs less seriously, and to your credit, your commitment to quality won’t allow you to let your standards slip. With two of the Three Amigos missing, I’d say you were short handed. But when you have Willie working beside you, you’re never short handed. By the way, he looks enough like to you to pass as your brother. In every video, there’s always a moment or two of pleasant diversion, like finding the fuel cans or the mentioning of it being Copperhead country. I would say Willie should invest in some thick boots, but they’re just as afraid of you as you are of them. I learned this growing up in Sussex County, NJ. (Rattlesnakes, however ...) Thanks for those; they’re most entertaining. And you never know what you’re going to find in someone’s backyard.

In less than 30 minutes, your machine does the work of what it would take a few people a couple of weeks or more to get done. When I was about 10, my grandfather and I would take hand held tree limb cutters, some snippers, a hand held scythe, etc in a 5 gallon metal bucket. We'd start on one side, for example like you were doing in that back yard. We'd cut down what we could and then we'd pile it up in bundles so we could use it for kindling. The rest just got piled and burned. Back then, I'd earn a whopping $10 a day for helping him. Wow, $10. I was 10 years old and my brothers wanted no part of any of that. My grandpa would say 'I love all my grandkids but those boys are lazy as hell".
What reminded me of all this was watching you expose that creek. We had a creek on our property in Somerset. He and I went to the high part of the creek and laid down a garden hose. LOL. He had hoses that was about, hmmm 150 feet or a bit more that led to the garden. We didn't have a garden pump but when he wanted water, He'd put that end of the house in the creek and put a couple of stones on it. Then, the water would flow through to the garden. He'd laugh and say "That might look like a Green Acres setup but it beats carrying 5 gallon buckets of water to the garden. He had about a half acre garden that always kept my grandmother busy at canning time. He'd remind my brothers every now and then that "You stick your feet under this table and eat and you can thank your brother for helping me in the garden". They'd actually laugh. They didn't care but I always felt like my grandfather was more of a dad to me and he taught me a lot.
Again, seeing that creek and you opening up that aread, really makes people appreciate nature more.
Out of all the channels that do this type of work (and I've seen a lot of them), you operate that machine the best of them all. After you are done, it looks almost like you were never there should someone just stumble across the area. It always looks clean, natural and like a woods floor should look. Compost, etc.

I know that is the quickest easiest way to do clearing, but I have a question for you. Do you consider the riparian zone when you do this type of clearing? The creeks health and inhabitants depend on some growth to keep the creek cool and provide animal habitat.
