There is nothing better than sitting down in front of the coal fire with the lights off surrounded by family and watching the build up and the walk too the ring by the two gladiators and hearing that immortal line "Ladies and gentlemen now its time for the main contest of the evening" watching the two boxers dancing on their toes, the moment when the ref takes over and motions for the boxers to join him in the centre of the ring " i'm firm but fare .....Lets get it on...everyone starts leaving the boxing ring in every direction until there are only three of them left and then the ref gives the time keeper the nod and the silence, just for a split second, is broken by the sound of the bell, honestly watching boxing with my late father along with my sisters and brothers in front of the coal fire were magic moments.......and yes we understood the dangers of the only sport that ever mattered too me....but those fine men boxing and fighting, getting put down and then getting up, the moment your boxer who as been under a terrible barrage of punches ....lets go and starts turning the fight in his favour................and you expect me too watch football where some tit on 200 grand a week as just dived to the ground and is rolling around with fake pain etched all over his face...NOT F*$KING LIKELY MATE.

Max Kellerman is a true boxing historian and shows brilliance as a commentator. As for Max's slow and pensive style, when a boxer fights for 12 rounds, responding to eloquence is not the easiest thing to do. Max is not slow all the time, he has pretty strong opinions and he airs them unabashed. Talking with fighters, however, is a different aesthetic and deserves to be approached as such. That is my opinion.
Max Kellerman is great for boxing, however, I do know what Bunce is talkin' about. I don't like when Kellerman is interviewing fighters sometimes. Kellerman is a great boxing analyst, though.
