Loru, your 'How to Make a Billion ISK in 2022' video had me thinking I'd be the next space tycoon, just swimming in ISK like Scrooge McDuck in a pool of gold. I followed your guide to the letter, got my Dominix all set up, and even tried my hand at the market... but here we are in late 2024, and my wallet's still lighter than a shuttle with its cargo hold stripped out! The market's gotten as slippery as a cloaked Astero in null sec, and I think it's time for an update, buddy! How about a 'How to Make a Billion ISK in 2024' guide? I promise to keep my Noctis ready and my reprocessing skills sharp this time around. 😄 PS: Love your content!

It's kinda hard to make a 'guide'. A 1 hour video can tell you in great detail what to do, but this game takes time and repetition. There's no "quick way to end game" unless you spend irl money and a lot. Start game, do career agents, find null sec Corp, get a VNI, Rat to plex, while ratting for a couple weeks learn the game through socializing with your Corp and alliance members. Best start plan 😆
Don't forget that you can also make some decent ISK from the Loyalty points you get from doing the missions. You might keep some of the salvaged ores and turn them into ammunition and upgrade that to faction ammunition in the LP store. Ammo is always needed.
First of all, a big compliment for the video! Recommended it to my buddy and he loved it. It explained a lot to him about selling and gave him new ideas for his way in Eve.
I love your method of splitting loot on +/- % values. It's an easy heuristic to drop off the loot. One thing I noticed (scanned comments and didn't see it, sorry if it is and I missed it) is your rule of anything over/under 100k. I do this, but a little differently with filters. I have one for over and under 100k and just filter under for reprocessing, and over for selling. It makes that part of the organization so much easier than line by line. (My filter criteria is estimated > 100k and Meta Level

I make 500 in 2 weeks in a 2 mil heron doing wormholes. Only got pvp killed once and a lot of times before I learned which sites have enemies. I think if I had better skills I could pull reliable 600-650 per 2 weeks so 1.2-1.3 bil per month and with an astero probably around 1.5 bil. Rn I am skilling into alternative ways of playing but I will definitely revisit exploration every time I need a quick buck.

People always think hauling isn't good money but it REALLY is. Great video, Loru. Jumped back in after a few years off and hopped into my L4 farming Marauder to satisfy the itch again. Totally forgot the Reclaimer existed, so that plugged up the Salvage hole I'd been thinking about taking advantage of. Might stave off the itch to just PLEX my way into a safe income, too. 🤣
yessir!! enjoy the Noctis so much. you can salvage in a Destroyer just as easy, try that first since the Noctis is a expensive target for gankers!! Whenever you buy PLEX (or other EVE items), use code 'loru' at checkout to get them cheaper!! Check here: store.markeedragon.com/affiliate.php?id=989&redirect=index.php?cat=4
I usually reprocess all loot except faction. No matter what it’s value at market all items will get you the original minerals and the more items you have to reprocess, the more fair average value you will get, collect the minerals if I want to build something with them or sell when I reach maybe 30-40 mil in price on market which usually is around a week of moderate play time. Good video man :)
Hello there :) I am a complete newbie to Eve Online, and i noticed in your inventory you have the "bucket's" as you call them. what the heck are they XD
@@lorumerthgaming You probably know most of this, but to elaborate for those new to the game, T2 haulers are mostly about safety (blockade runner), or tank and huge fleet hangar for ships(deep space transport). The cargo hold doesn't get much bigger. A station container, empty and folded for transport is 10,000 m3. Bigger than a t2 hauler cargo hold standard. You could probably move a closed one in a tayra t1 hauler using expanded cargo holds in low slots, but beware, gankers love the low defenses this provides, as you're stripping away your hit points to use expanded cargo holds. Basically, if you need a station container, first see if you can buy them where you need them, assemble then use. There are 5 kinds of containers, and multiple sizes within categories. You might be able to do with a large standard container, or a few of them. Large standard is 65m3 packaged, and pops up to 650 assembled. If you are interested in transport ships, keep an eye on the gallente line. Gallente are the only race with specialized T1 hulls which carry specific cargo in specialized holds. For instance, that Tayra mentioned above has the biggest regular cargo hold. However, I'd never haul ore or gas in it, it holds about one and a half ventures full of ore. I'd use the miasmos, which has a 42,000 m3 ore/gas hold, which is over 8 venture fulls. Lots less trips to the market. The Epithal with it's planetary industry hold is an Omega favorite, as it can carry lots of PI items made with Omega skills. The Kryos hauls minerals, made from the refined ore. So, one example is, if you are mining, you can drop your ore off in venture in system. If you have efficient refining near system, you could haul that ore in a miasmos to the refinery. This busts down the rocks to get the condensed good stuff inside, the minerals. You could them fly the minerals in Kryos to Jita to sell. Just beware, you become a tempting loot pinata for gankers if you have a high priced cargo in a ship with low defense and evasiveness, so use as many hauling tricks as you can from Eve university wiki wiki.eveuniversity.org.
The numbers you talking about here is Rockie numbers lol. The real isk are in industry part of Eve. I can make 80 - 100 mill a day passively from having 1 slot producing t2 fighters. T2 ship and fighter production are overall good isk, and PI allso can give good income but are more semi passive since it need alot of micro managing. When this is running in background making you lots of isk not even need to play the game making it and you wanna make even more isk actively, ratting in ns are fairly good isk compared to risk. If I'm actively playing, making a bill a day aren't really hard at all
@@lorumerthgaming well, that's my point. Logging inn once a week to restart your reactions, and once every 3-7 days to restart your ship and component production depending on ship size barely take any time at all, and can give really good passive inncome regardless if your of or online. To give you an ide, take marauders. Currently cost me 850 mill to produce a golem, and I can sell it for 1,25 bill, so basically 350 - 400 mill easi profitt selling those. Should easily be able to build 2-3 of those a day on average if you got 3 Toons on an account skilled for production. That said it takes time and quite Abit of isk to set it up properly, and not for beginners. Probably have close to 100 bill worth of bpos and stockpiles and it's still quite Abit away from where I want it to be
@@mellogo1d191 just because those a good isk in my part of the galaxy, dont gonna mean they just as good where you at. so you kinda have to look at marked and see what fighers gonna sell most there and at what prices they are. for me, where im at, people uses templars, witch usually sells at around 15-16 mill each, and cost 10-11 mill to produce, so rougly 50% markup
you mining in wrong part of space mister. when im mining good stuff i make rougly 500 mill an hour with 3 toons, so thats like 150-160 mill an hour for each toon on avr. can make bit more if im out in my carrier, but thats like a 7 bill ship instead of 250 mill mining ship, and alot more active playing, so not really worth it. you should allso start invest the isk you making towards industry and production, where you can grow that isk you making alot faster.
@@gizmoapangalook121 mining solo in an orca are so bad lol, because mining yield terrible and probably significant better in t1 barge, so that kinda says it all. my orca with more or less perfect drone mining skills are pulling 11m3 a second, or just below 40k m3 an hour not counting the time it takes for drones to fly between orca and the rock. in comparison my hulk with ore strip miner are doing 34.2 m3 a sec or 123k m3, and thats without boost. i never mine without boost, and lower end you get are 40%, that you cant have on an orca. so im practicly doing 172k m3 an hour ageinst your 40k m3. if you solo mining in an orca, you make 20-25 mill an hour mining the best valued R32 moongoo and you much better off doing some afk ratting in a gila or praxis, that can make you rougly 100 mill an hour in comparison.
For every new player. Join a wormhole corporation, get your self venture for 1M isk and go suck some gas. You will make more isk then flying around doing missions. Your corp will find and secure the wormholes and your 1M venture will pay for it self in 3 min.
@@lorumerthgaming eve market is like any other, supply and demand, some do not want to fight, they are happy mining but unwilling to take the risk of being ganked and lose it all, this is where i come in, i buy and move it to a central location where i can compress it, at that time i used a ore miner as a speed tank and hauler, then the tech 2 came out, the prospect gave me 2x the cargo capacity making each run worth 20 mil or more depends on ore type, the endurance fantastic speed tank as a compressed ice hauler, as soon as you exit the gate, your gone before the cloak comes off, it got to the point where i dealt with the same groups over and over again where i got messages, we have 10 mil units ready for pick up, 12 million, 15 million, the largest pick up i made was for 178 million units for 8 isk a unit, i sold it in jita 2480.00 a compressed unit, my profit was 1.6 billion.
Dude that setup is worth over 2 billion isk...no way under the sun a new(ish) player can afford that. plus it takes alot of time to climb through the ranks to l4 missions. may be a good idea to let folks know that before they get discouraged.
The most valuable advice I can give a new player is to buy plex. Don't have to buy the full $25 option, even the $10 one would work. Then take the isk you get from selling that, and invest it in safe industry, like manufacturing or research or PI. It's true, the more money you have, the more money you can make. Setting up a food source of passive isk generation is a very valuable thing.
@@lorumerthgaming krabing = ratting or any act of killing NPCs for either there ISK bountys or loot they drop in his case WH rats dont have bountys but they drop "blue loot" which is basically just raw isk
This is not 'special'. I'm coming back to Eve and started fresh with an Alpha toon and have made 1.5 Billion in 3 weeks so far. That toon was a PI alt, so it did have points in PI. Otherwise nice and fresh. I also in that time did a Zero SP challenge on one of my other PI Alts to get all the Skill Points from doing the AIR Career Program and applying that to my 'new toon' to get the 500 SP. So SP wise, I think its effective, but it will definitely cut into the money making. I bet I could make 2B/month with an Alpha toon easily.
@@lorumerthgaming My point was not about PI, my point was how easy it is to make ISK even on an Alpha toon if you know what your doing. I made a somewhat irrelevant point about doing this on a PI toon. If I were to get back into PI, instead of the old '3 day timer' setup, I think I would knock it down to 1 week so I don't have to check in on it so much cause its not that exciting when it keeps pulling you in for maintenance.
Isn't it the case that the best way to make money in EVE is to turn off EVE and go to work for 2 hours, then swipe your card and 2 trillion in your account.
I know the prices were far lower a year ago, but going over your fittings today feels like: how to make a billion isk? Start with 2 and spend 1 on ships and fittings
A billion in a weeks ? I made 8b for 10h ratting session today in WH (and i did not even had optimal conditions) . The most profitable active methods are now : Ratting in wh (Not all wh are good for ratting), abyss site (the high tier), and pochven sites (but you need more people for that), both these activitie mention requires atleast 5moths trained character with specific skillset and money for ships themself but after that its literally printing money.
@@lorumerthgaming Aceyfacey or however he spells that, thinks his videos attracted gankers because people were on the lookout for him, and knew his fit.
Sorry if I sound like a bittervet but... I've only been playing a few years, 1b/month is far, far from rich. Thats barely out of poverty. There is about a million different ways to make at least 100m/h, and with some skill it's absolutely doable to make 2-3b/h. Nothing wrong with Isk making guides for newbros, but claiming that 1 billion with a b is "rich"...
What the heck, a 2.5 bil Dominix? This is not about getting money its about becoming a gankvictim and lose money. And 1 bil ISK per month is nothing. And the cargo scanner in the scan ship ruined it for me. Yeah you can skip the worthless containers but also prevent that the site despawn so no new respawn in this region.
You should not missinform your viewers, 1B is nothing, earning 1B in 2 weeks means you are poor and inefficient at earning isk. If some1 new to the game comes here looking for ways to make isk ... run away from this tip like the plague. I don't mean to be rude, but this kind of claims ("HOW I GOT RICH IN EVE Online In 2023") are what makes new players quit when they realize they have waste training time.
@@lorumerthgaming regardless of how much time you have to play, you cant say you getting rich and making 1B a week, because that shows you dont have a clue about how to actually make isk in the game. 1B a week arent even pocketchange for people activly farming ISK. i can spend 15-20 min a day on marked and make more then a bill a day. making 500-600k/h per slot producing t2 rigs are rather easi, and an account can have 30 slot. thats allmost 400 mill a day, and only take few min to start the jobs, move rigs to marked and put em up when done. rig production dont need reaction materials, so that means you on top have 30 slots you can have going to make reaction materials you can sell, and if you do it properly you only need to restart those jobs every second week to every month, so even less work. never sell that myself since i allways use it for my ship production, but i know it can be quite desent passive isk. another allright way to make passive isk with the research slots you wouldent use for t2 invention are researching capital BPOs. they take long, long time to reasearch, and give allright passive inncome for practicly no work at all. if you bother with PI, and get good setup on that going, should give you bill a week profitt aswell
@@lorumerthgaming It works for me, don't have much time and haven't played for 10 years. So in order to actually do the things I wanna do in the game, I had to buy a 120M sp character for 400 bucks.
Eve is so vast, and it's hard to know what to do sometimes.
Here's what I do 💁♂

The items you plan to sell are best served by being taken to a trade hub like Jita, seeing as you are like 3 jumps out.
this is correct 👏
I usually reprocess all loot except faction. No matter what it’s value at market all items will get you the original minerals and the more items you have to reprocess, the more fair average value you will get, collect the minerals if I want to build something with them or sell when I reach maybe 30-40 mil in price on market which usually is around a week of moderate play time.
Good video man :)
Great insight! And thank you friend
30 or 40 in a week your way i can get 30 to 40 mil aday 3 to 4 hours a day average thats l4 missions
I would reprocess the modules that are too cheap. Some of them might drop decent lowsec ore, get that ore stacking.
a great idea!!
I miss C&C!!! I liked the Red Alert series the most, more specifically 2!
mmm yessir!! the best of times
What do the air career points do, the ones u get from the caterer agents
You can trade those in for various cosmetic items!
You got the copy paste import for the noctis?

How do I customise my orbit in eve online, like change my orbit radius in the fly
right click your ship in space for a ton of options, friend!
Great Video, thanks. Not sure if i missed it but does it matter to you much WHERE you sell at?
Great questions, always try to haul your items to the main market in system. Caldari space is Jita
When i started game i went to faction warfare space and picked up all the drones left behind made bank
This is a great idea
I just realized that your lofi bg music is remixed eve music that's a cool tune
;)
Thank you very much for this video dude! sooooo helpful :)
happy top help!
I made 4billion yesterday another 1.6bil before work and when I get home will most likely be another 1.6bil. Marketing PI and ded sites \o/
Well done friend 👏
Wow, what a gem of a channel! So happy to have come across this. Will totally brag about being an early subscriber once you blow up, bud.
Big appreciate 😌📈
Returning player here, great video. Time to get to it!
welcome back 😎
Whats with the late night smooth radio host voice? Great content though. Thank you
it's how i do 😌
Can you do a vid on how to use ECM drones?
soon ™️
Hello there :) I am a complete newbie to Eve Online, and i noticed in your inventory you have the "bucket's" as you call them. what the heck are they XD
Hello! I think you 'Station Containers.' I use them to stay organized!
@@lorumerthgaming is it possible to transfer them from different ports?
@@legacyofthoal8394 yes but they are big, need a t2 hauler prolly
Thanks!
thank YOU friend 👏👏
The numbers you talking about here is Rockie numbers lol. The real isk are in industry part of Eve. I can make 80 - 100 mill a day passively from having 1 slot producing t2 fighters. T2 ship and fighter production are overall good isk, and PI allso can give good income but are more semi passive since it need alot of micro managing. When this is running in background making you lots of isk not even need to play the game making it and you wanna make even more isk actively, ratting in ns are fairly good isk compared to risk. If I'm actively playing, making a bill a day aren't really hard at all
All great things! Not everyone can devout lots and lots of hours. Appreciate your comment friend
Probably have close to 100 bill worth of bpos and stockpiles and it's still quite Abit away from where I want it to be
hey there bro, Im really interested to know what kinda fighters you're producing to make that amount of isk ??!!
@@goldeneagle256 OK, then my nexy question is HOW THE HELL are you producing a golem for 850M ??! LOL
I’ve been making billions. Just mining. Now I’m making over a billion a week. Pi and minerals.
you mining in wrong part of space mister. when im mining good stuff i make rougly 500 mill an hour with 3 toons, so thats like 150-160 mill an hour for each toon on avr. can make bit more if im out in my carrier, but thats like a 7 bill ship instead of 250 mill mining ship, and alot more active playing, so not really worth it. you should allso start invest the isk you making towards industry and production, where you can grow that isk you making alot faster.
@@goldeneagle256 hmm. -1 system, how so?
@@goldeneagle256 I have only one mining toon and mine about 3-4 hours a day.
@@goldeneagle256 I have an orca btw.
I made 40 bill last month. Solo pve in high sec. Seriously. 😂
Can't do what I do with a new alt of course and high risk high reward. And I play a lot. Not excessive mind, I have a full time job irl.
Well done dude! Glad you're killing it
Can I get more info of what you’re doing? I’m tight in isk right now
For every new player. Join a wormhole corporation, get your self venture for 1M isk and go suck some gas. You will make more isk then flying around doing missions. Your corp will find and secure the wormholes and your 1M venture will pay for it self in 3 min.
Gas mining is def lucrative!
agree, full venture load of gas are worth between 25 and 40 mill depending on gas type, and with good skills should take like 20 min to half an hour
"And they will!" LOL
Do you do any salvage in Null (Delve) I can make 120 million on a Saturday afternoon - Especially "Elite" wrecks.
good on you!
Love it!
thanks for the support friend 🙏🙏
low sec and null is where the real isk is, but also risk
prolly
Phase 2: you can sort the inventory by value…
If you are trying to make money, and you are new I would not reccomend going with astero in nullsec.
this is correct 😉
i made billions buying ore, compressing it and sell in jita for a much higher price.
This is a GREAT idea sheesh 👀👀
Dude that setup is worth over 2 billion isk...no way under the sun a new(ish) player can afford that. plus it takes alot of time to climb through the ranks to l4 missions. may be a good idea to let folks know that before they get discouraged.
the navy domy setup is the one im talking about.
Oh totally! This is my fit, but as stated in the video, you can use tech 2's and do just fine
T2/meta fits run l4s just fine, it take little bit more time.... better mods, then you just cutting time down
@@jammbamm4024 correct!
The most valuable advice I can give a new player is to buy plex. Don't have to buy the full $25 option, even the $10 one would work. Then take the isk you get from selling that, and invest it in safe industry, like manufacturing or research or PI. It's true, the more money you have, the more money you can make. Setting up a food source of passive isk generation is a very valuable thing.
you look like Khan's brother in the star trek into darkness movies :d
wowowow thank you 👏
Krab c5 annoms in a marauder and make a bill in an hour would be my choice
what does Krab mean 😮 so much to learn in Eve I love it
@@lorumerthgaming krabing = ratting or any act of killing NPCs for either there ISK bountys or loot they drop in his case WH rats dont have bountys but they drop "blue loot" which is basically just raw isk
@@magnumopus8695 no, it's beacons you can drop that will spawn NPCs. These are usually fought with caps or dreads.
The caption says you got a billion billion ISK! 😁
Correct
This is not 'special'. I'm coming back to Eve and started fresh with an Alpha toon and have made 1.5 Billion in 3 weeks so far. That toon was a PI alt, so it did have points in PI. Otherwise nice and fresh. I also in that time did a Zero SP challenge on one of my other PI Alts to get all the Skill Points from doing the AIR Career Program and applying that to my 'new toon' to get the 500 SP. So SP wise, I think its effective, but it will definitely cut into the money making. I bet I could make 2B/month with an Alpha toon easily.
fair enough, but not everyone wants to do PI. it isnt 'as fun' as other activities IMO
A billion is 1-2 decent doctrine ships.
If you ain't making 500m/h at the very least you're doing it wrong.
Not everyone lives in null ;)
Good INFO Thanks
yayaya
You should try doing t5 abyssal deadspace
A good idea 👀
"How I got rich in 2023" --> Video Posted in 2022

Level 4s in a 2.5bn isk ship is an arse about face way to make isk. I'm subbing to keep an eye on this insane channel.
I bling my ships 😌
Can join your guild, lol. I want to know this game like you.
currently in a solo corp 👀 there are plenty of new bro corps you can join though!
That ship you showed was over 2 billion...

no i want to make isk so i can buy plex to go omega so i can get a barge!!
I believe in you 🙏 follow our guides and you will!!

Isn't it the case that the best way to make money in EVE is to turn off EVE and go to work for 2 hours, then swipe your card and 2 trillion in your account.
Why does every eve TH-camr sound like they're eating their microphone
Space Garbage Man, I have that ship.

I know the prices were far lower a year ago, but going over your fittings today feels like: how to make a billion isk? Start with 2 and spend 1 on ships and fittings
i got my ships over years, and slowly upgraded them.
start where you can! and go from there 😌
A billion in a weeks ? I made 8b for 10h ratting session today in WH (and i did not even had optimal conditions) . The most profitable active methods are now : Ratting in wh (Not all wh are good for ratting), abyss site (the high tier), and pochven sites (but you need more people for that), both these activitie mention requires atleast 5moths trained character with specific skillset and money for ships themself but after that its literally printing money.
oh and that Wh sites i was doing in ship that was about same price and your dominix navy issue.
Everyone is different friend, not all pilots can play for long periods of time 😌
Ishtar > Domi in my playbook
depends on the activity!

Yea wonder why you haven't shared the vid with your friends yet 🤔
1 billion isk is not rich not even close.
it do be tho
Sorry if I sound like a bittervet but... I've only been playing a few years, 1b/month is far, far from rich. Thats barely out of poverty. There is about a million different ways to make at least 100m/h, and with some skill it's absolutely doable to make 2-3b/h.
Nothing wrong with Isk making guides for newbros, but claiming that 1 billion with a b is "rich"...
Billion is rich to more than you think 😌
Reprocessing turns modules into minerals, not ore... You should know that playing the game for over ten years.
you ok dude?
What the heck, a 2.5 bil Dominix? This is not about getting money its about becoming a gankvictim and lose money. And 1 bil ISK per month is nothing. And the cargo scanner in the scan ship ruined it for me. Yeah you can skip the worthless containers but also prevent that the site despawn so no new respawn in this region.
I've never been ganked in that ship 😌
Eve rich is trillion… not billion :)
For some Billion is rich 😌
Or you can spend £4 on PLEX and be loaded like everyone else killing this games economy.
Nah
You should not missinform your viewers, 1B is nothing, earning 1B in 2 weeks means you are poor and inefficient at earning isk. If some1 new to the game comes here looking for ways to make isk ... run away from this tip like the plague. I don't mean to be rude, but this kind of claims ("HOW I GOT RICH IN EVE Online In 2023") are what makes new players quit when they realize they have waste training time.
Not everyone can no life the game 😂
Just use a credit card
pay to win is lame
