The mag was clearly designed to compete with the loading mech of the Meteor, and at the price point the Meteor is just all around a better buy

I thought I was seeing this wrong and this was like a suggested old video but he's just now doing a review on this..... That's a shocker!!!!! I'm so used to Dra¢ B'in one of the first to review new blasters
The AR in mine blew up the third time I fired it and the moving part in the barrel causes air leak that why FPS is inconsistent. Also you can prime multiple time without bypass.
is there a way to fix it
@@minipin3432 the AR can be removed no problem. You can install a spring to force the barrel in position.
Imagine making a rival blaster with an extra long mag that is 36 inches long and put some coloured foam over it then making a blaster that looks like a lightsaber hilt and shoots from the bottom of the hilt, that would be partially civilised...

Reel-steel nerds call mags clips all the time... I think it's fine.
I agree it’s a good blaster, as long as you don’t have to maintain or upgrade it. Plastic leaf springs and the barrel priming bar are issues for me. The reassembly of that bar is a pain.
I bought and returned two of these, they kept breaking as soon as I took them out of the box practically, I feel like I’m walking on eggshells when I use the third one.

I feel like the Helios is really underrated by most people in the Nerf community, but it has great performance and that nice contracting prime. Also, it kind of reminds me of a Kriss Vector, like the Hera.

honestly i love the finisher and have been using it for a while and i use the 12 round rival mags
I'd still prefer a X-Shot Chaos Meteor... but maybe that's just me.

I bought this about a week after it came out and it broke immediately after I took it out of the box in the car not even 10 minutes after I bought it to test it out because I like to see the nerf gun how it looks and feels before going home to actually use it. I fired it once that is how it broke and I just remembered the magazine gimmick broke when I pulled it down to see how exactly it would work. I pulled it straight down then it would go back up and the piece snapped when it went back up. I obviously got my money back but know if you buy the finisher test it out in the car after you buy it or buy multiple then hope you get a good one.

0:34 HA! WHAT A JABRONI! Lmao, love you Drac. Thank you so much for leaving that in. You almost owed me a monitor (almost spit root beer all over it).
I bought my finisher a while back, but mine seems to have a broken deprime. As in, you can rack it without depressing the button. I do like it, it's just odd you could get a mother ship rival blaster that has that much of a quality issue.
What I don't understand is why they didn't just use the Kronos internals and swap the internal mag for a mag slot, and keep the topside reloading. That would allow for ambidextrous reloading and toping off without a proprietary magazine, and you would get the same functionality with whatever rival mag you popped into it. Instead they engineer a whole new clip that only reloads on one side, and apparently only works in that blaster anyway.
They even engineered the breech in such a way that I don't think I could just cut a reloading hole into the top. Darnit, this was so close to being my dream pistol.
I saw one at the local pharmacy a few months back, and thought it was compelling until I learned it used the same style of Internals as Elite 2.0.

I just now got into rival, and so I purchased a takedown charger and Kronos. Waiting on Kronos to come in, but so far I love them!
its actually an integrated mag not a clip. a magazine uses a spring to feed the darts/balls into the blaster whereas the clip is cycled through the blaster itself and merely holds the darts

Since the mag goes in at an angle, I found that angling the magazine (bottom away from you), then pivoting it in the mag-well like you would with a classic AK-platform, it feels a lot more natural.
You can put 6 in the kronos xviii just gotta push down a bit once you lock one is in the chamber and now you have 5 balls left to shoot

I feel like the side loading clip gimmick is cool, but it’s probably easier and faster just to load the clip like normal

I got the same one a few months ago and the second day I had it, I drop it and heard something break then I shook it and something did break but it still work but when I shot it, it was a lot louder than before. And also jams a little bit

in colombia its actually cheaper than a kronos dont know why but its more affordable here

How hard or cost ineffective is it really to supply double the ammo and 2 clipazines with a blaster? If not that than a separately sold reload kit. This isn't even a Hasbro exclusive problem but it does seem to be much more prominent in mag fed blasters from companies.
I got mine for 8 bucks at walmart and sadly the slide jammed its still a nice gun tho I think mine was faulty

I find tons of these in thift stores in my area, and they are always jammed horribly or just broken.
I love mine and I wanted an affordable ag fed pistol for a while now
Mine sucked. 2nd shot the gun completely locked up. After tanking it apart and removing a part, it has ben mostly ok. You can still lock it up if you short the charge by a nut hair.

They are $15 in ohio targets i picked mine up on sale with an online coupon paid less than $9. They take 12 round mags like a champ. Didn't think I'd like it but for the price why not pick it up. Turns out I kinda like it lol.

I've never had a blaster jam up more than a Finisher. Mine can't make it through a mag without jamming at least twice.

My son just bought one of these with his Christmas money and it has a loading jam issue. It jams nearly every shot. Anyone else had this issue?

Saw these today at a local A local store on clearance for $11 and some change. I feel like thrift in a Krono‘s for probably less than five dollars is a better deal.
I also noticed no paint, minimal to no stylization on the shell, and the plastic seem smoother in glossier than typical Hasbro Nerf. It also felt a little thinner as well.

But if youre gonna be scavenging why not just spring for a perses? Or figure out how to carry spare rival mags you can top op? Or just an artemis or roundhouse? Seems other things scavenge as well or better than this thing
Cool idea, not great implementation. Honestly at this point Nerf might just not be prototyping and iterating. The first time they prototyped it, they would've realized that they ought to try to find a way to make it fit in other magfed rival blasters, and a way to reach the tab when it's empty so it can be loaded with one hand.
Or better yet, they would've realized that they can just put the door toward the bottom so it can even be topped off in other blasters, then they can start selling those magazines on their own to attempt to replace normal rival mags.
If they do any prototyping at all, it is definitely just to make sure it's capable of basic functionality, rather than to iterate to any extent. They need to look to Zuru as a role model imo

That's what nerf calls it, so that's what it is as far as they're concerned. Heck, the first mass-produced suppressors for firearms in the US were called silencers by the guy that designed and patented them.
It /is/ somewhat confusing though, what with that external-magazine-speedloader-fed-pistol-with-an-internal-magazine-...thing, that dart-zone just came out with.
