that kid literally came up to the cop like the littlest orphan and went "excuse me sir we moved the next here already and she was still complaining" I could cry he was so respectful and mature about it and the cop took his word seriously, heartwarming interaction.

What a miserable old woman to be bothering kids that are simply playing basketball in front of her house. I knew the kids weren’t lying and I knew she wasn’t going to be able to please. Idk why the cop even tried to please her after witnessing her attitude. Misery loves company and she was never ever concerned about anyone’s safety. Perhaps she would feel better if they were out running the streets,selling drugs and breaking into her house.

I saw kids riding bikes and playing on my street for the first time in forever just yesterday. I was thrilled because you don't see that anymore.
I’ve seen this one before-that poor kid that got hit is so sad. I pray he didn’t have any lasting health issues.
That was so scary seeing him like that I felt so bad for him it broke my heart. I was so worried about what injuries that would find when he went to the hospital, that man said he was hit so hard he probably went 10 ft in the air. My prayers are like yours I hope no long lasting health issues he was so young 😢.

I felt so sad for him. He was only 14, all alone, didn't even remember where he was going or what had happened. I kept thinking that if he had gone unconscious, they wouldn't even know he was there. The lady cop said to dispatch that there is no person on a bike anywhere. I really do hope and pray that he was okay after he healed up. I did know of a guy in the town that I live in who was hit on his bike on a busy road. He ended up with brain damage and was never the same. 🤕😟🙏🏻✌🏻

The Indian lady that hit the kid with the bike seemed a sure DIU case. Would be interesting to know how her sobriety test went .
Not all officers are trash you guys. True enough that we have our fair share of people becoming police officers just to make our lives miserable, but I know several officers who would give you the shirt off their backs to help you. As with most groups of people, you get unfairly judged by the actions of the officers who are bad or corrupt.
LOVE the LEO with the kids and you could see on the kid's faces that they thought he was cool too.
I love how she called off paramedics before any investigation after responding to somebody being hit. What was that woman thinking? Tell me she’s not “protecting” our communities anymore…..

That poor 14yr old kid that was hit probably has more damage than they first thought. I really hope they checked the driver for possible DWI/DUI, because there’s no reason she wouldn’t remember a kid on a bike directly in front of her. She didn’t have a head injury. The kid did!
The driver was obviously lying and she should have been charged for lying instead of getting that kid medical attention

My youngest son will be 14 in a month & a half, so this upset me badly. This’s one of my biggest fears. I can’t help but see my child in this kid.

Not really, he was investigating her as a victim, and when she failed to comply with a command, he immediately slammed her and made her the criminal. In case there is any ambiguity. As a victim, she is not required to follow his commands. She wasn’t detained she wasn’t under arrest. So the next thing people are going to say was that she was going to hurt her self being drunk, if his motivation was to protect her from her self then that’s what he should have been doing from the moment he got there. He didn’t do that. He questioned her. She was blotto drunk. He said so himself. So, even if she could’ve articulated something, it’s completely unreliable and not actionable.
Props to that citizen in the 2nd video. If all citizens were like that then violent criminals wouldn't stand a chance. He was vigile, heard gunshots and saw police lights, witnessed a guy running, ran all the way to the downed officer and then ran with the 2nd cop all the way back to point out where he fled to.
I know it was the K-9 that found the guy, but still. Dude deserves a civilian hero award IMO.
I applaud this officer. The kids are just playing ball. Ma’am be glad that they are playing outside .and don’t give anybody trouble. We need to encourage this.

No kidding. No thanks to the officer who literally told dispatch to cancel EMS/ambulance and that there was no bike involved. Without even so much as looking around on the side of the road or in the bushes... the fking kid saved his own life by stumbling out of the woods barely conscious, and covered in blood.....I can't believe how incompetent that officer is/was... she is there to investigate a bicycle that got hit by a car.... and she shows up , asks a single question and is like "Welp i guess theres no bike"
Imagine that same exact scenario but lets pretend the bike guy remains unconscious OR that he is so badly injured that he can't call for help. The kid wouldve died on the side of the road, 15 feet from the officer "Welp theres no bike!"🤷🤦

fking top notch detective work by the officer. Now imagine that same scenario where the kid never wakes up from being unconscious, or is unable to call for help... laying in the ditch on the side of the road in the bushes.... And officer just says "Welp, I don't see a bike, so there must not be a bike. I could go check the bushes, but nahhhhhhhhh"

I absolutely love the k'9 cops. While traveling to FL about a year ago I was stopped was given a warning for speeding. As we were about to pull off the officer asked if he could work his dog on a vehicle that didn't have any drugs on board (the officer said every car he had stopped that night had drugs) of course I said yes and I tell you it was amazing to watch her do her job!

He was so knocked out that he didn't even know he was hit...and the lady who hit him was acting like she just drove off the road by accident and trying to convince the cops that she didn't hit anything...if that kid didn't walk out of the woods... just at the right time she might have gotten away with it...
