    How low should you go if your running boost or turbo in the esc? Since you said 5 amps is a good spot. Would you shoot for 3 to 4 so you can throw more power at it without worrying about over heating?

      Find the timing related to the 5A mark. Find the 6A as well. Say it is 50 degrees for 5A. Subtract the boost timing. Since boost is a RPM based timing, figure out where you need it to kick in based on the track layout. Say you want 10 degrees boost... set the timing at 40 degrees so you get the 50 degrees when boost kicks in. Now, Turbo timing is WOT based. So either subtract the boost amount from the regular timing or map it so when you hit full timing you do not exceed 6A or 60 degrees.

      The most important things are to check temps and to not exceed 60 degrees.
