How do you set canvas size? You mention resolution but I need a fixed final image size - say 19 inch height by 14 inch wide?
And is the recommended process to set canvas size and then fill with images? Or something else?

can we use pixlr to edit a scanned document sheet?, normally we can do this in photoshop7.
Like editing a document? You can edit an image document as an image.
Does it correct old black and white photos and repair damaged colour photos ?
You must find tutorials online to achieve that. If you can't find any, try Photopea. That program has slightly more options than Pixlr.
Can you use it to change image like photoshop?
Do you wanna open Photoshop files or want to edit images like in Photoshop?
Where did the free bokah/mermaid effects go? They are not under overlay anymore?
Try the Focus/Bokeh tool from the toolbar.
My left side on pixlr doesn’t have as many options
Try going to View on the top and then clicking on Restore all panels.

It's great but there's no back bottom. So if you made a mistake you can undo the mistake
Press Ctrl + Z to undo the last edit.
How tf do you make a straight line?
Click the shape tool. Third row from the bottom. You will see shapes on the top. Choose Line. Then, when drawing, press the Shift button and draw. This will ensure that the line is straight.
