just a tip, after you have done the cutout. before cuting it out you can press ctrl and i, that will invert the cutout and you can just delete the baground instead of pasting it in

I expected you to use magic wand. Yes, I ALWAYS use teh polygonal. Can I use the regular lasso? Yes, but I find if you zoom in, you will see the line is bumpy & NOT smooth. So sometimes I will use this on bumpy or spiky hair to keep it realistic, save time, then I swithc back to polygonal for the clothes, etc. I alway s use a feather, except around fingers & ears, depending on teh size of teh photo I may use a 1 or 2 feather on the fingers & ears. I find this method is most realistic for composites.

I know theres a drawing tool, but i dont know for sure if you could hook up a drawing pad or not. you might have to use your mouse to draw
