I've been using Canva using YEARS, and glad it's finally getting some attention!
Same
Exactly! 👍
Same here
Can you get CANVA on mobile devices?
Late reply but yes @@ScrapSupplyCrafts
I've been using canva for over a year and felt like a Newbie watching this. Helped a lot, thank you!
We got you!
as someone who uses more advanced stuff im happy that canva is making it accessible to beginners.
You don’t have to go to layers to move them, you can hit position too
Bagus sobat ku salam kami dari aceh
I've been using Canva for years for my business page and I just found out a few days ago I can edit videos on it. Now I can make a thumbnail too! Thank you!
That's amazing! Would love more tutorials like this
I loved watching you work here. Gave me some ideas for sure. I’ve not used a lot of those features. ❤ !!! thanks so much!!!
Finally, it’s great to see VidIQ making a video on Canva. Now Canva going to reach more people ♥️
Seriously, John’s videos are the BEST! This was exactly what I needed. Thank you 🙏 John and VidIQ.
Thank you for watching!
Perfect! Looking forward to making thumbnails.
I like playing about with Canva. But I have never gone that deep before.
You have inspired me 😉👍🏼
This is great! I need to upgrade my thumbnails so thank you!
Very helpful, thank you!
I have been editing with canva for years, I love that they opened magic studio
Love Canva and love VidIQ. The perfect storm
This Video really helped me with making my thumbnails
I had been using Canva and also mid journey to create my thumbnails and it's very useful. Thanks for the info!
Yes, my new favorite creator! 🙌
Canva is goated. Super easy and intuitive.
Great video i learned a lot. Thank you
Oooh this is a big level up right here. Thanks!
Nice video! Quick and easy to make, and looks nice!
I don't know canva, but I think drawing in the drop shadow with a brush would've been a lot quicker (if there's a paint brush option in canva anyway😂)
I wish that were an option.
Great walk thru!
Amazing how you did the shadow. I never would have figured that out !
ive been using this tool the last couple days to get a perfect image in my videos.... its amazing!
this was an excellent video, thank you
thank you so much for making a video on canva!
great work! interesting to see just what we can do with Canva. Thanks!
I LOVE Canva!! I agree with the what you said about the drop shadow. I wish there were more options… I know some Canva creators who somehow customize their own Canva asset for that (don’t ask me how). Regarding the layers, there are different ways for navigating through them. You can either use the layers view or just click on “Position” near the top to move something backwards, forwards, to the front, or to the back. It’s just preference. For someone who used Canva for only a few hours, that was a really good job-especially with the custom shadow you made! There’s definitely a lot more to Canva, but that was a good thumbnail!
Use shadow elements. They have a ton more styles and designs then the shadows effect
Yah, seriously, what a GREAT thumbnail for just learning the new AI options available in Canva for the 1st time! I remember when I finally understood / felt comfortable using Canva, was def a breakthrough in making our channels thumbnails! But I certainly learned a lotta new stuff from this vid, Jon's great at teaching & explaining! Now, time to make a NEW thumbnail for a vid I finished a few weeks ago but clearly procrastinated making the thumbnail.
Canva is awesome, I use it everyday!
dude this is awesome!
This is SO good for Canva!
Great video!!
Great tutorial!!
Wow, what a great tutorial!!
I needed to see this! I love Canva and needed to see how other features worked
I've made all my thumbnails with Canva I love it
I use Canva for my Thumbnails and really found this video interesting, I even stopped the video while watching it to have a go at myself as I about to make a Thumbnail for a upcoming video and was impressed how it can change the background from a grey sky to a blue sky with clouds. Will have to play around with it more, Thank you VidIQ
thank you for this video!
Thanks for share your canva knowledge, I will test these functions in canva
A fantastic review of this new Canva AI tool. Yes if the thumbnail is rubbish or viewers don't click on it the video’s won't do well. The most viewed video's have a fantastic thumbnail.
use your positions tab to get to your layers... and the old editor has more options and control over shadows
Would love to see this related to video game thumbnails
This is actually crazy how well that works.
The way you made your shadow is brilliant. Bid respect for you, mate
Very helpful for tips in Canva! Canva has some helpful features.
very helpful,thank u :)
Cool 😎and content filled video, very informative. Thanks for this great tutorial, love it. 👍 I just have experience with Canva, but some Things i don't know until now, so good to know :)
I am glad there are free tools for making thumbnails
Everyone always dunks on Canva (including Dan and Rob), but I think it's a great tool! If you're 100% a beginner, it has premade thumbnails, overlays, etc that you can use. Once you've gotten used to it, then you can start changing out things in the premade templates to better fit your brand, with the goal of creating your own thumbnails from scratch.
That is a good idea, and I missed it when starting my channel. So, from the beginning, I started it from scratch, but with time, I kept improving.
I love making my thumbnails in Canva 👍
Wow you did an awesome job...
I use Canva a lot as well dope video
Love it! It was like having my buddy here helping me do this. Thanks for the chuckles.
Wow! This was incredibly helpful, thank you! I’ve used background removal and played with the coloration on objects but I’ve never figured out a good “shadow maker” and that was brilliant. I’ve also never messed with their AI tools! Now I’m pumped to go try some stuff!
Thanks love this video
You can edit the background remover to add or take away what you want, as long as it detects a background.
Really great tutorial, thank you. You can do pretty much all of this in Adobe Express too if you have a subscription to that. I've been using Photoshop or similar for over 30 years, but I still jump into Canva and Express to make a lot of images because it is just so much quicker😮
I love canva!!! I've been using it for about 3 years.
Wow thank you, great video!!
useful vedio thanks
Oooo so coool😁💜
This was amazing! Awesome (and helpful) tutorial
Amazing❤
After watching this video I am a Canva expert now LOL, thanks vidIQ
Wow 😲 nice editor. Looks more user friendly than photoshop.
Thanks for the useful insights!
I use Canva for my Digital Marketing class (I'm a senior in High School) and I'm now considering of using Canva for my thumbnails
I already used Canva (since like 2 weeks ago lol) but this vid helped me take it to the next level
I have the paid version of canva. Looks like I have some playing around to do! Thanks!
This was a cool vid, thank you so much!
I create everything from thumbnails to book covers on Canva.
Love it, thanks for the vid.
Gave me some ideas for thumbnails.
We are happy to help!
Amazing tutorial.
Use shadow elements for anything shadow related. There is a ton of different angles and they look much better then the shadow effects
What are some “angle titles “ you would use for shadow elements in the search?
@@DadAdventures just search shadows. I do think most are pro only, but there are some really great free ones as well.
Great tip!
My man's a low-key genius.
Great stuff, thanks❤
I'm doing all thumbnails with PowerPoint but canva also seems cool
How do you make Thumbnails in PowerPoint?
Whatever gets the job done!
@@HeyJohnScott I loved both of the thumbnail videos on vidiq where you were doing the thumbnails / explaining. Great stuff
Huh, might actually use this in the future
Wow super information bro. I am also using canva thank you for sharing amazing information bro Love your videos ❤
Yes thank you good my friend ❤❤
Thank you it's really helpful
Dope
Very good video
What useful video ! Thanks for sharing 👍 ♠️
Wow.. I love the reaction on his face
The thumbnail is great
Thank you!
@@vidIQ Most welcome
It's my pleasure
use duotone and custom so you can pick black for both colors.
Good one.
Ohh WOW… that’s good 😊
I do pretty much the same, except using GIMP, which has no AI built in though. For background removal I use Adobe online which is honestly ridiculously good, a lot better than Canva I think. Certainly better than what I did before by hand, sometimes taking up to one or two hours...
Lol I should use Canva more often , nice bandana
Who is this guy? Love him!! ❤
Great info, well explained TY!
-P & J
What a great video!
