Do you know if the pillow block bearings are both the same on the fan housing? Have you ever heard about fixed and floating? i was wondering.. Good job man keep it up!
I replaced the other side prior to this job and it’s the same bearing. I would think fixed are what you find on a motor shaft, is that what you’re asking?
Only one issue, when you shut off the disconnect, would have been nice if you put a LOTO on it. These are training videos and safety is is the best training. Other then that, great job.
I was thought to to lock it in the direction of the wheel rotation 13:20,it looked like you tighten cw.but it could be the camera.thanks for posting.
Yeah the set screw was in the shaft key, had to drive it cw , I locked it down like the gorilla before me. Thanks for the comment
I used to think that Mike Lindell was the pillow man, but no more. Yo da pillow man now!
Oh yeah 👍 I guarantee the old pillow would keep you up at night, now I can sleep well 😴
Yeah buddy....those pillowblocks can fight you sometimes. Nicely done bro
You never know until you start throwing some tools at it how hard it will be . Thanks Jason 💪
Good work, I’ve would’ve gone straight with my bandsaw and angle grinder
The thought was crossing my mind but I had all day if needed this time. Thanks for commenting!
Gotta love a good fight with a pillow block bearing. Nicely done!

Yes, didn't remember if the fixed was close to the motor shaft, thx @@subcoolHVAC
What about the bearing on the backside?
That was replaced 6 months prior
awesome job!!! but dont you think lining up the little tags on the VEE belts is showing off :P
Thanks, just showing up to work is all the attention I need 😎
@@subcoolHVAC love your work mate :)
The sound of that bearing initially made me think you were running at 50 Hz lol
Definitely was a loud one, Thanks for watching
Those set screws put up a fight.
Yep, Next step would’ve been drilling out
@@subcoolHVAC I thought you were gonna have to.
Did you end up doing the other side too?
Sure did 👍
@@subcoolHVAC I got an engineered air pillow block to change and I quoted 6hrs for both sides 😩 a part of me regrets it big time
Well the goal is set, you’ll get it done 💪
