@@pedroyan2156 People in rich countries are very privileged to be able to afford 1000cc or even a 600cc. I've even heard them call 400cc bikes "fun little toys" or "beginner bikes". While in my country, one can only dream of owning a motorcycle like that. 💀
Parallel twin sounds pretty bad, fkn government forcing manufacturers to put out these parallel twin engines. The in-line 4 sounds amazing and I'm glad kawasaki brought it back with the Zx4rr and the Ninja 636 But other than the sound this bike is still pretty good
@@tsharabi4 where did you get those mirrors? I’m thinking of changing my mirrors and front windshield but I don’t feel like spending $300 on that 😕 i have a 2020 650, so i’m sure that company makes some for my bike
It’s the exhaust. You can get an aftermarket one for like $80 and it sounds just as good if not better. The only reason I’m not getting this edition is the color, which is the main attraction. Don’t get me wrong it looks good but I’d rather get the metallic grey/ black/ and midnight blue one with white accents and wrap it or paint it myself later.
@@ThePicasoBlack get what you desire man. Don’t let some “edition” badge and sticker fool you. Plus, if you’re buying the ABS edition (which you should if you’re new to riding like myself, I’ve never been on a motorcycle besides electric) they’re the same price. I’d feel a lot worse about painting over a wrap than a stock paint job. Not to mention, you can make your color scheme and it won’t be the same as everyone else’s, or at least at large. Plus the exhausts are slip ons, so no welding, and it’s a Kawasaki which I’ve heard are super easy to work on.
I sometimes miss having a bike that’s fairly quiet. My 2020 400 is a track bike but I still take it on little street rides occasionally and it’s a screamer in race trim. Definitely gets too much attention. It does look cool at night though throwing blue flames on decel lol. Then my actual street ride is a 2016 636 which isn’t too bad at cruise but anytime you crack the throttle it sounds like you’re track side at an Indy car race.
I was confused at first but then found the video of the trade lol. That’s awesome. I will say, I almost like the simpler graphics on the regular 400 than the newer graphics set for them. My honest to god favorite would be just the Kawasaki green, no graphics. But dude either way dope little bikes
Not a ZX4RR, just a standard Ninja 400, 2 cylinder engine. The ZX-4RR is a 4 cylinder and doesnt sound like a 2 cylinder engine. Instead, it would sound "almost" close to a ZX-6R
Exactly what I was thinking as well. No ram air on nose plus the sound you can clearly hear that it’s a twin and not a 4. I own a ninja 300 and it sounds pretty much the same as this 400

@@ampjp_ I have the SC project slip on. They offer a whole exhaust system but for me I was okay with the slip on, makes it sound good and loud, and I still have my catalytic converter and all that so I didn’t have to go have a tune done for a whole exhaust system
@@ampjp_ 400 is definitely a good beginner bike. There’s many options. If you decide to go with a 650, it requires more expensive exhaust mod but you have more power. I have the 2023 z400, great for what I need, I notice on the interstate it lacks power but that’s just me. My next bike will probably be the z900 or maybe something of 1000, gixxer or something. All in all z or ninja 400 is great. Ninja has the windshield and fairings on the side, Z is naked and doesn’t have that. I kind of wish I would’ve gotten the ninja, but, the cool thing is they’re literally pretty much the same bike only the ninja has windshield and fairings. It just depends on what you want
@@Korrow ZX6R is powerfull, i agree, but, most people want a moderate power with a nice sound and great design. The ninja ZX4r is more modern than ZX6r and offer a easy way of drive too. Allied with an simple maintence if compares with ZX6r
@@tsharabi4 Might as well unless you like lawn mowers. Lower displacement just does not make sounds that appease to many...unless you're reaching close to 500cc or more. I noticed with my 2004 Suzuki GS500 which is the most powerful of lightweight bikes (489cc and 396lbs) with an SC V2 exhaust.
@@tsharabi4 It doesn't sound like a lawn mower with stock exhaust. 500cc and larger displacement have a more decent sound note unless it is an inline 4 with smaller displacement like the older 250cc bikes such as the Honda CBR-R 250 with a screaming redline. Nearly sounds like an Indy car.
They’ve sounded the same since the 250R in the late 2000’s. Granted the new KRT’s livery is pretty badass I’m not impressed. More impressed with them dropping that ZX4RR
