Just got a jug of MSMA today to apply to the "golf course" in front and back of my house. Super expensive but dallisgrass is the worst and I'm over it.
I'd love to see a follow-up from that app next spring/ early summer. Did you get it or suppress it? Either way, that's an impressive result. Even if you could just suppress for the entire growing season, that would be pretty great.
Try insecticide “Tempo SC Ultra Insecticide” vs the army worms. PPE is important with this product. You’ll feel it if it touches your skin with drift or if you’re soaked in sweat it’ll adhere to your clothes and your skin will soak it right up. High rate of 16ml per gallon .05%
Jason have you ever used a blanket post emergent app to control nutsedge? My lawns are covered with it and I’m think about adding a post emergent into my application in June or July next season to get ahead of it. Do you have any recommendations. Trying to avoid all the spot spraying and customer complaints. I’ve been using certainty as my spot spray go to but I’ve heard of a newer product called Akron.
Been using arkon at my golf course this summer, did 2 apps at 55oz/A about a month and it did control 70% of sedge. Going with a higher rate we would've been able to knock out more. I will say the Kyllinga didn't really seem phased at all.
Mix sledgehammer with sulfentrazon. Or use a product called celcuis, witch is probably better for homeowner because it will kill a lot of different Weeds

I swear your voice should be used as a sports announcer. 😂
Great job! Dallis grass is a tough one for sure. I can’t wait 3 weeks and sometimes the shovel is easier, if just one or 2😂
A shovel works well also

Dallisgrass ☑️ now try to find something that will kill blue stem. I’m breaking the bank trying different product combinations.
Not everyone has Bermuda or Zoysia, will this hurt centipede.
What battery powered sprayer do you recommend please ?
I have a LOT of dallis grass and ended up taking it out from root but now area is bare 😭
I've done that. painful to look at, but the good grass eventually fills in (quickly if it is properly watered and fed). hang in there!
Absolute best way to get rid of Dallas grass is to dig it out. A lot of that weed is underground.
Can I spray my zoysia lawn the same way to kill Dallis grass?
You can. It's likely to cause a little discoloration
Terrible weed for sure. Good job!!
Great work. Dallis grass is horrible
Dallis grass
How can I kill nutsedge grass?
An herbicide called Sedgehammer
Mix sledgehammer with sulfentrazon. Or use a product called celcuis, witch is probably better for homeowner because it will kill a lot of different Weeds
@@jimbo5635 just and FYI: Celsius XRTA will control sedges. Plain old Celsius WG will not. XRTA has halosulfuron which his Sedgehammer.
I hate dallisgrass
