Great video! The fact that Air arms gonna change the gap between the shroud and airtube on the Galahad made my day, and the last Edgun ,Omg that was a cool looking gun! Hopefully it shoots well too!

FX is making some of the best airguns out there...They have the best CEO ever. This guy actually lives for airguns. I am saving up for an airgun and it will be FX for sure. Was a close call with Edgun but will be FX.

Daystate are renowned for jamming within 12 weeks of purchasing.
I have been talking to gun shops up and down the UK and they say that the guns are being sent back all the time.My local gun shop talked me out of buying one. They also warned me that anyone giving Daystate product a bad review will be prosecuted, This is why you never see a bad review of Daystate.

The Ataman M2 looks cool and is my style of carbine. But, looking at the shot string, fill pressure to 300 BAR gets you "up to" 25 shots? It must be even more compact than it looks.
You know, the pricing on some of these guns and the lack of pedigree (for peace of mind when dropping this kind of money), really makes the Brocock Compatto (Daystate) look better and better, when it already looked fantastic.

Make sure to also budget for the supporting kit (recharging, etc.).
Revharging costs can be a b***h if your on a budget..... Depending on exactly what your budget range is, and if your gonna be hunting, competition shooting, or plinking there are a ton of choices for the gun itself, and because im not sure of your budget i wont suggest a gun but i will suggest either a 3 or 4 stage hand pump to refill on air, its much cheaper than compresssors

+GravityRoller dont you have to recharge those also after every couple uses? Or do you just replace them? I personally started out with and have a compressor for my fx impact and fx wildcat
+Billy Nickerson Yes, a SCBA bottle needs refills as pressure lowers. How often, depends on many factors. Important consideration is that SCBA air is clean AND dry (so the internals of your gun do not suffer). Also, recharging is very quick. Buddy bottles are small and easily transportable. Typical bottles recharge to 3000psi (aluminum or steel) up to 4500psi (carbon-fiber).

What is the big wheel on scopes used for, like the Hawke Sidewinder shown at 5:32?
Rangefinding, ... bigger wheels provide larger scale and potentially more accuracy (rangefinding).

Benny, I think you may be confusing things here. AO (Adjustable Objective) is term used to describe parallax adjusting scopes, and is typically done with a lock ring on the rotating objective bell of the scope (I think this is what you are referring to). The "big wheel" (that was asked about) is simply an enlarged adjustment wheel that is either placed over, or a replacement for, the typical focus adjustment knob on a focus adjustable scope. The reason for the larger wheel is more surface area, which means a more accurate readout of the distance scale (more numbers with further distance in between). In long range air rifle shooting, sometimes mere feet (of range measurement) can mean the difference between a hit & a miss. Focus adjustable scopes are also typically parallax adjustable based on the typical shooting distances expected. This is one of the things that make air rifle scopes unique, they are parallax adjustable to distances powder shooters would not typically go down to.
