This version of *THE WAR OF THE WORLDS* is my favorite. I love this diorama showing the scenery and the war machines with lights and sound effects. I wish I had something like this.
" That Skeletal Beam neutralizes matons somehow, they are the atomic tools that hold matter together, cut across their lines of magnetic force, and any object will simply seize to exist..."
Quite ingenious, the only suggestion I might make would be to angle the "support beam" rods out slightly, rather than straight down, I believe that was what was represented in the movie and also somewhat sturdier
Actually they are slightly splayed out. Unfortunately, because I have the power source (a 9v battery) buried inside to eliminate any visible wires, the Martian war machines have to be easily to access to change out a dead battery. They are literally balancing on the Lexan legs. I recessed the under belly three ports to accommodate the legs but I suppose I could have recessed them a little deeper. Before you say it, I mounted the lower part of the legs that meet the diorama base with copper tubing imbedded in the scenery. I used tubing because I wanted to be able to see the blue flicker (votive candle LEDs colored blue) to look like the sparks in the film. If you go to my web page, I have a night version of the diorama where you can see the tank burning along with the blue flicker effect. Here's the link: www.oneeffgeof.com/426096353
Wow very very cool, don't know if you ever heard of second life, but I have 3 of these ships on there and they make the same sounds and they hover like those as well , you might want to try out second life and check out these and more, I did like this war of the worlds and wish they would have used these ships instead of the ones that were in the new movie.

WOW...? ..... Best?
It is the title of the clip. It was my best take and shorthand for War Of The Worlds.
@@geoffreylucier5772 WOTW is more accurate. WOW sounds like world of warcraft.
@@rapatacush3 WOWBest was just my shorthand for the video.
