Tarek and Heather work together on their first flip: an amazing house in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, with a stunning view of the valley. They have a budget of $400,000 for this flip so they decide to come up with a very high-end design!

Interesting house flip but, to me, nauseatingly sickly presentation - just how many times can you say "I love it" . . . .

That's one reason why I can't watch this new version, seems forced, doesn't work. The whole relationship seems off.

Tarek loving everything was weird 😅 I like the renovation very modern and practical but for a 3$ m nothing stand out in this house......so it's probably the location. Hope she upgrade her touches in the future and tarek stop promoting her too much 😅

I really thought The Flipping El Moussas would be different to Flip or Flop, but the only difference is that instead of Christina, we have Heather… and she barely does anything. At least Christina used to design. 😕

This segment is ridiculous on so many levels.
Heather has no sense of style. No background home decorating. She’s gotten use to the money from Tarek that she even has a maid. Really?? Christina did everything. I think I can speak for all women and say we learn really fast to multi task with a maid or a nanny and we run a household
@@joyceann702 Are you kidding??? Heather was already a success when she met Tarek! Christina was not! Plus Christina did not even do her own hair! I am sure she had a maid. She was not a typical working woman at all.
Yes Heather was making some money but not like Tarek or Christina. And Tarek and Christina became a success together in their business.
Heather... don't listen to the haters. They are just jealous of you. Y'all be happy and enjoy this and don't let ugly, negative, miserable people; with nothing better to do than troll around, trying to criticize others, who are actually DOING something meaningful; ruin such a special time in your lives.. simply ignore them. It is obvious that he loves Heather, but she is a bit overwelming in her exclamations. This flip just does not have the same excitement as the ones with Tarek and Chriatina had.

The landscaping in this flip really enhances the curb appeal. It's the little things that make a big difference.
The best home flipping show I liked, was “The Vanilla Ice Project” With Vanilla Ice.
He tore down and rebuilt his homes and made them high end without concurring with a wife for her opinion. He had a good crew to help him out.
It was a great show.

The kitchen was awful. The fridge was bulky and should have been panelled and the layout was uneven. The pole should have been removed. The bathroom sinks and counters look like they were from Home Depot.
Yeah the tile in the showers looked really plain and basic too - No room in that house had any wow-factor for $3M unless you're looking out of the windows at the view.
A remodel done well! Please leave the dog at home.

@@NoNewWorldOrder88 Everyone has a past. She did something she should not have done. It’s what you do after you make a mistake. Do you go on doing something wrong or do you change your ways. Also, I did not hold her up as ideal. But she was successful on her own coming from humble beginnings too.
I was glad Tarek chose someone who already had money. This way he avoided someone whom getting money would change. That was the point. Not that she was ideal.

Tiles on the shower wall, flooring of the bathroom and backsplash on the kitchen wall look cheap. 😢 At least Christina is progressing with her designs as the years go by and as long as she has the right budget. I prefer Christina on the Coast.

Kind of underwhelming.
I really liked the exterior curb appeal. I kind of liked the downstairs redesign.
The kitchen was better than the original but doing a mid century modern and removing that awesome woodstove was a terrible idea. They could have just relocated it to that far wall so it wasn’t in the middle of the space (especially since they had to take some of the living space for the kitchen redesign) and put something great on the wall behind it to protect and elevate the design. That crappy, fake, electric, mini replacement thing was a travesty.

The floor plan is so weird in this house. It doesn’t really flow or feel homey. And the blue back splash in the kitchen with the black/wood accent wall doesn’t go well together at all 😢
