Black?! All black?! I've got to say, my heart sank when I saw the reveal. While I understand that Heather has a more sophisticated style, that doesn't work well with ALL homes. It started out as a cozy cabin and most of that disappeared.
A shame.....already small rooms turned dark. A real shame...the room with the fireplace painted entirely black... This young lady should not be designing decor for a house until she has learned so much more.
The totally black exterior is very uninviting for me and gives off a very sinister vibe to what should be a welcoming bright holiday feeling for guests. Not for me today. I also miss Christina.
I know Christina would take one look at the front and say in her typically Blunt, refreshing way: That is ugly, or one of my favorite lines of her: 'It feels murdery'. They HIRED designers! What are the flying El Moussa's doing, anyway? Is there no longer a budget? At a certain point, when you hire contractors, stagers, designers...what did you do? It seems like they admitted to choosing this paint color, which I would keep to myself, personally. Maybe we have finally seen a flop!
The paint is too dark, wallpaper is too busy for small space like cabin. Also the bedroom color and wallpaper choices make it feel smaller. It's a horrible design for a holiday cabin
Maybe it is possible to substitute one blonde woman with another, but unfortunately, you can't substitute style and sense for design, colours and vibes to a person, who hasn't have it!
I wonder if people who think that Heather has good taste will appear under this series? So you have to be able to spoil a wooden hut... She literally squeezed the space of the bedrooms in half, and turned the living room into some kind of cave...
I thought it was decorated nicely but some rooms were way too dark. And I hate to say it, I think the black exterior is hideous. If I were buying, I probably would not even make it in the front door.
nice effort, the black outside paint is a No! for me!!! the rooms are also to dark... lol this was a no for me. i hope they kept some of the vintage furniture , thats Gold!!!
Yes, she talks like a little baby! Like a Barbie girl, very artificial. It doesn't sound reliable, like a BAD fairytale... Having such a lady on his side doesn't make Tarek either look more professional, or a man in their family. They seem like like artificial toys, not real people!
It’s all to dark, and if Tarek would have given Christian half the credit he gives Heather they probably wouldn’t have broken up. And I think with Heather they bring in additional designers to call hers.
Wait, they HIRED designers?! 1. One star 2. Heidi, or (I'm sorry, forgot her name) didn't design it? 3. Paging Christina. Seeking feedback on a black cabin. SOS.
i wish tarek and cristina would have stayed together. cristina is way more mature and has much better taste. heather reminds me of a want-to-be kardashian. no hate to her but i preferred cristina.
@@sadie513 No, Heather is not working as a designer in this series. Since she isn't working in that capacity, I'm not sure why she is in this show. I'm not going to compare Heather to Christina because I, frankly, like Christina better because of her vibe and hilarious statements. But, that doesn't mean I hate Heather. I have only watched 3 half episodes of the "Flipping El Moussas." And, what a name there! It sounds like a CIRCUS ACT.

Tareks propensity to enlarge rooms by removing storage spaces would be a downer for me. I think he’s successful because buyer won’t realize the lack until they move in.
Tarek, I really like you, but I wish you’d lose the cap and necklace, you look so much more professional when better dressed. Your wife doesn’t add anything to the show with, “Wow!”.
I liked it until they painted the gorgeous knotty pine in the back room. For f*ck's sake, it's a cabin. It's supposed to look rustic. Not contemporary.
I mostly saw negative comments while watching and was like, it's not that bad. Until they got to the family room. Why did they make it all black?! I didn't mind the dark colors in the bedrooms but they lost me in the family room.
I think ....... A house with black exterior walls would only look good if the silhouette of the house is contemporary in design. (Flat roof, etc.). But this house was in the woods and I wanted the storyline of that cute little house to be used. I can like this couple more than before, but I don't like this design and designer.
Ruined it with that black, it looks horrendous. What is this a cabin for Vampires? or the freaking Adam's family? That white cross railing was a hundred times better than the new junk, could have just put new white wood with the same design. And that black living room with the beams and white ceiling OMG, that is so bad it hurts my eyes looking at that hideous design. This flip is rated F.
@@skdoremi6666 I rewatched the full episode, and this house they bought for $200, sold for $411, and made a profit of only $55,000. He gave Heather a whopping $130,000 to spend on this tiny house. And at the same time, they didn’t even demolish the walls ... thinking about this, I feel so sorry for Christina, Tarek gave her such an amount for renovation for houses worth a million dollars ...
What kind of energy? On Flip or Flop, they'd take on total dumps and flip them. Here, it seems like there is no budget. I mean, that can make for a relaxing vibe when you no longer have to worry about the water damage on the ceiling because somebody has the cash flow to fix it without a care in the world...
@@tmm6884they spent 130 thousand dollars on this, although the house itself cost 200 thousand... Apparently the designer had to pay a hundred thousand 😄 or Heather has a secret bank account, where she transfers part of the money. After all, all they did was paint the walls! They didn’t demolish, didn’t finish building anything, they didn’t even make an access road ...
Soooo, first time watching Heather. Wow. She sounds so unintelligent and obviously has no idea. Just started, but already can imagine how bad this will end for the poor cabin.
The colours unfortunately do not help the case and first time I am sad to comment negative. Change the pattern and make sure to apply better taste and understanding of the limitations related to the small space dear Heather. Also, let little more ego down, to help Tarek intervene more firmly in your work guys, because other that that things won't work well for the business or both of you.
I'm sorry but they ruined that cabin by painting it all black on the outside. It just looks like a scary haunted abandoned cabin now. They could have at least lightened it up by putting an oak door with oak panels on the outside to bring in some lightness and warmth.
I actually like the black exterior, but it needs to be broken up with some natural elements or another accent color. It is definately too dark on the interior. I take it from the comments you guys don't like this lady.😂 I definately do find her voice unpleasant as well.

The family room looked so much better with the original light paneling. Now its dark and uninviting.😮
Colour is too dark for a holiday rental. A nice sage green or something with wood finish would have looked better. It is a cabin after all

I think it’s cozy. In short, I disagree.
A good example of how not to paint small rooms.
Those rooms look hideous.
Too masculine and dark.
Don't be rude guys

lol plot twist- Remodeling the remodel lol 😂😂
They ruined that cabin. Why do they keep letting the dog jump on stuff.
The dog isn't trained. It isn't cute, right? Dog taking their outdoor paws over the staged bed and stamping around while barking?
It's actually disgusting to bring an animal into a staged home like that
Actually the dog shouldn't be in any homes on the market. IMO 😊@BakingwithBecca10
The best thing about the cabin is the knotty pine paneling.

No, it is very dark charcoal.

The fridge remained. 🙄
