At 11:20, your screen says to use the Service button for the next test screen (I think my manual states use TEST button for next screen, and then use SERVICE for previous screen.) But when booted up with TEST DIP set on my PCB, the screen prompts to use Player 1 Switch 1 to advance, and then later Player 1 Switch 2 to go to the previous screen. Weird and confusing to get documentation that says one thing, but then you have to figure out another way, lol. Still a good little board to have.
Great video, thanks for the info. I have one question. How would you just lock it on one game and not have it go back out to the menu of games. If I wanted to put this in a working coin operated Ms Pacman cabinet and make it appear its the only game on the cabinet.
I made a video on that topic - showing how to perform that task - its in my Arcade1UP Playlist. Here is a direct link to the video --> th-cam.com/video/IR9Ho3fcZ9I/w-d-xo.html
Your video seems to be incomplete. I am stuck at the screen that tests the buttons and they are all working but yet I can't move on to the next screen .
Is the 4-pin power connector on the board the same as a PC hard drive power connector? Asking because my application is not inside of a JAMMA cabinet, so the 4-pin connector would be handy.
All of my games are OFF except for Pacman. There's nothing i can do to turn them ON. I have an upright Pacman arcade with a regular joystick and 1P and 2P Start buttons. No trackball.
When he says reboot does he mean turn it off then back on or is there a reboot button I don't know about? I keep losing the changes I made in settings when I turn it off and back on
Is it possible that i have a bad dip switch? My machine is stuck in test mode and every once in a while it will turn on and go to game play but 99% of the time it just boots up ian stays in test mode with no way to get out of it. Also sometimes it will let me cycle through the test menu with the joy stick and buttons but most of the time i have to open the coin bank and use a switch under the coin button. I ordered a new board but i still want to understand what my issue is. Thanks
Please help... I have a 60 in 1 board, I am trying to boot my cabinet into service mode. My cabinet does not have any service or test buttons. It has the red yellow and blue buttons off to the side ans the white single player button on the other side. Any idea how to get it to boot into service mode??
Search Google for the 60-in-1 Manual - it is online. I believe there is a dip switch on the board u can set and the board will boot into the Service Mode.
U need both to get to Test Mode & Service Mode…unless u have easy access to the 60-in-1 card as u can get to those options via the Dip Switches…Switch 4 on the 4-bank. Google search “60-in-1 dip switches” a link to the Instruction Manual will pop up from Holland Computers.
At the 37 minute mark of the video I discuss how individual games are Enabled (Green/On) & Dusabled (Red/ Off). You can drill a hole in your standard Space Invaders cab to allow the joystick 🕹 to move in all directions. The size of the hole s/b the same size as a Button Hole.
I bought a machine that had this 60in1 board. I they had it to only play donkey Kong jr. I changed it to play others but now it only does previews. How can I fix this?
Sounds like your arcade game is running on a pc inside. Probably set to boot a computer that runs an emulator (like MAME). But something has went wrong on the computer or with the software preventing it from fully booting into the emulation software to get the games going.
If it is this board, the little 4-switch DIP Switch on the PCB will go right into Test mode if the 4th DIP switch is set to On. You can make it boot into the games menu by flipping this 4th switch back to Off. If in the Test mode, Player 1 action buttons 1 & 2 move you forward and back through the Test menus. The manual says use the arcade cabinets Test and Service buttons, but mine didn't work that way, and the initial video Test screen denotes that onscreen.
The technician in me is yelling at the screen every time you hold the board by the pinouts😅
Great video though, thanks for sharing
Exactly the video I was looking for... and that is difficult in this niche market ... Thanks!

Every time I reboot, I lose all the settings I just changed. Does anyone know why?

I unplug my machine and now it just blinks no sound

Hello, does tthe test button and service button do the same functions? if you can only set up one button, which one would it be? thanks

So are high scores not able to be saved on a 60-in-1 once power is turned off? Any way to make that possible with the power off?
It saves only the high score for each game, but does not save the name for the high score. Strange, I know.
Great video but my cab has left right joystick as old invaders how do you scroll through games to disable and enable

A-Button is PREVIEW. Player-1 Button to “play” the selected game.
My 60 in 1 seems to be locked in test mode. Rebooting it brings it back to the test mode. How do I exit this back to the game play mode?
Is dip switch 4 on the board set to on? That would do it.
My screen just blinks
my arcade does not boot it just says dell e1911 safe mode do you have an idea how to fix this error?
Thanks in advance!
