- This video shows how to use Google Meet on two screens. This is especially useful if you are teaching an online class and want to see your shared slides or other content on one screen, and still see your entire class in grid view on the other screen.

Yes, you can use two monitors and even your phone. I can see all my screens, and I like to use them with two monitors more. You now have a new feature if you are on a laptop only; you can see meeting attendance and the screen you are sharing. I love Google Meet because of assessability issues with Zoom.

You tried to answer it as a presenter, but what about as a viewer - how can I split the screens?
Unfortunately I'm not sure, I haven't used Google Meet as much as I've used Zoom.

Yes, you should be able to do that.
so they would be able to control the screen with the doc as well as the one with the presentation, without the attendees being able to see anything on the first screen? thank you for the video!

This is for two monitors connected to a single windows PC. If you are running it on two different devices then each would have its own instance of google meet running in a browser.
@@BenFinio going to try this next week on Chome OS Flex. Wish it was easier just to have a separate window of all attendees floating around. Thanks though!
So what are the steps to enable dual monitors? I do not need to present or to share my screen. Just being able to see people on one screen and someone sharing on another.
I'm not sure if that's possible, although this video is almost a year old so I'm not sure if it's changed.

The title is misleading. I'm looking to have a student's screen share fill the second monitor so I can see details. This video is just showing a window on a second monitor because there happens to be a second monitor. Really nothing to do with Google Meet.
