Confidence! Insecurity often leads to bad communication skills and also jealousy. I think confident people tend to better know what they want which is great for clarity in leadership and decision making. They also tend be more stable in their identity. Differently, insecure people’s perspective of themselves depends on external things, which causes them to constantly waver in their moods or attitude. I can approach a confident person with criticism or a concern without being nervous about crushing their emotions. Anyone proclaiming Jesus Christ and refuses leadership and Godly counsel is in direct rebellion against God. Scripture tells us to not forsake the assembly of ourselves together in church. "The Church" is US, The people of God. Plus it says there's safety in wise counsel. Beware of those So called Christian's that claim they dont need a pastor or church. They're in error and delusion. Paul taught on this thoroughly. Bible also says Woe to the man that walks alone for when he falls he has noone to help him up and I could go on and on. Godly people do the word and not just hear the word and in order to be successful in accomplishing the things of God we must fast and pray and subdue this flesh bc no good thing dwells in this flesh and fasting is the only thing that will KILL our carnality! There's several wonderful books by Franklin Hall on Fasting and prayer. Great teachings on really becoming born again. Get them they'll change yr walk with Christ forever! I met a Christian the other day that wanted to pursue me for dating with intention. Well he couldn't stop talking about s*x and how most men aren't going to wait. And start talking about taking overnight trips right away. Told him I was uncomfortable with that and how I wanted to take things slow and he wasn't for it. Def not from God which I initially thought.
What I learned is that he needs to know Jesus already not me telling him he needs to know Jesus. And also someone who like to do fun activities and can talk to me about anything.

The biggest lesson ive learned in this whole dating world is to take time to get to know someone first. Don't simply let yourself get swept away by lust. Use discernment and allow god to show you who this person is, not just seeing what you want to see in a person. God is good and will never lead you astray.
One sign I am looking for in a man of God is someone I know can get a prayer through and is a praying man. That way I know he is able to listen to the voice of the Lord and follow God’s direction, instruction, and correction.

Similar Values/ Beliefs/ Ethics/ Morals: Simply stating the core values that shape how we view the world and how we live our lives must be similar if we are considering building something together. 3. A person of integrity: I grew up not having many reliable male figures and male figures who kept to their word. I knew that I needed to be with someone who I didn't have to question whether they would keep to their word. 4. Loyalty: I know that this was a trait that was birthed in me by my family and God has grown in me over the years. I need a person who values this and understands what it means to be loyal. This means holding me accountable but don't embarrass me as well as having my best interests in public and in private. These are the things I look for because I value these things with regard to who I am as a person.
wow everything that you said describes my bf. after our first date I went home to tell my cousins I found my husband and guess what were getting married in September God willing. I'm so happy but also grateful to God that He saw me worthy of a truthfully Godly man and I didn't have to date multiple people to meet my forever partner. I had a dream of someone I haven't seen in over 20 yrs. It was my classmate that went to prison. So I prayed for them. But I kept having the urge to look for them and write them. I found he had a petition online for early release. It said he was a man of God. I sent him a letter and told him my testimony and gave encouragement. I didn't leave a name only initials and a city I was in. The moment he got my letter he was just praying to the Lord for testimonies for a online ministry the Lord gave him a go for. My letter confirmed his ministry! Then later at the end the Holy Spirit told him my whole name. It was wild! Not only that the Lord told him that I will be his wife. Later we didn't realize we were both led to fast the first time we spoke. I have never been able to fast ever but i was able that day! He is ALL these things you listed as a Goldy man and my Spirit definitely testifies. So I'm praying for confirmation and this video is extremely helpful.
What I'm looking for in a man of God is one that tries to pursue God everyday. A man that protects and respects my purity. A man that doesn't cross my boundaries but also doesn't allow me to overstep my boundaries when I'm tempted. A man that isn't driven by lust and practices holiness and purity. But as women, we fall for the men with canal minded spirts. These men are charming, personable and manipulative. They definitely know what they are doing. The right man needs to show passion and desire in all areas of his life. His work, His children, his hobbies. This also includes getting to know himself and knowing Jesus if he doesn’t know him. In dating I've had men who can lead, challenge, who I can be comfortable around and talk about nearly anything with but when it comes to the kingdom?? I need to trust if you leading me, then I know God is leading you. Will we be able to pray and read scripture together and discuss? Your first sign you mentioned is the reason I'm not married yet, that's a difficult one but I know there is someone out there who wants the same; as much as I try to play like I'd rather be my son and I the rest of my life, the desire for marriage is there which I accepted a while ago. Thank God for Jesus. Because I was in a 5 yr relationship with a guy that in every way you explained in this video showed the signs that are red flags! That’s not an exaggeration , he was not sent to me from God. It went from no arguments in the beginning to seeing him freak out , cuss and scream at me flip over my couch and more! I mean you hit the nail on the head and I’m so thankful God showed me this wasn’t what he wanted for me in a husband. And that all the things I desire in a man is what God has already said a man should be. I was never “asking for too much or a perfect man “ as my ex use to say. I’m single now and I’m so much more happier. I believe God had something in store for me when the time is right.

I would like to talk about conviction during dating. Like before you do some thing Gods gonna speak to you especially when it’s not his will and Is leading to sin, knowing how to listen to God and what to do when being convicted. I feel like God convicting us is good because if he didn’t we would easily fall into as we do already everyday. But learning to lessen those sins and convictions is what I’m trying to get at

Newly married a year ago and the veil has fallen I told my husband yesterday that the other day God said the attack is to get my husbands attention not mine😐see the difference between us is that I’m up every morning at 3:30-4am studying meditating etc even WHEN we go out of town and my husband doesn’t. I told him I NEED a soul connection and he said he needs affection…he doesn’t for some reason wanna understand what I’m feeling and it’s a turn off. I told him we are TO unequally yolked and unless something changes even if it’s baby steps weee done🤨 Satan comes to destroy!

Especially if they approached in love and honor.

Yes but you can’t make anybody do anything. God gave us all free will and it’s a choice to believe in God or not. Yes you can show God by your fruits but that doesn’t mean he is still going to accept God into his life and then you’ll be unequally yolked
