Your story is so inspiring! Anyone who claims that you can't make good living as a musician should be presented with this video as a counter argument. You're truly an inspiration ❤
Yay!!! That makes me so happy!!!
Thank you for being so transparent with this! It is really helpful to know the lay of the land esp. because so few people tend to talk about real numbers . Thanks Sabrina!
Great video Seids! I would love to see more videos from you on similar topics like this not just music production.
Great presentation. I’m 73 retired from 50+ years in music, tv, radio, voiceover and teaching. Folks were always stunned to learn that in my best years l, I often had a dozen or more streams of income. I was so busy, that I worked 12 to 16 hour days, six and seven days a week. People today think there’s a magic formula or secret to making money. There isn’t. The work is out there, if you are willing.
I’m always in such awe of your talent and technical skill! What an amazing person. What I hear when I watch this video is a lot of hard work and devotion to your craft! Thanks for sharing about it. I started following for the most awesome Logic Pro tips, which are some of the best on TH-cam, but you’re so much more than just a producer! A true professional.
omg thank you so much!!!
Wow! Great video! Seids keeping it 100% real as usual!
The energy in the nursing home video was off the hook!👍
I have watched your videos for quite a while now for helpful hints and ideas in Logic Pro not realizing how accomplished you really are.
But wow. You are like Super Woman!!! Not much warms my heart more than hearing a success story centered around hard work and passion. Thanks for sharing your inspiring story!
Damn! I didnt know you were such a great singer! I only know about the Logic godlike level lol. Great video!
thank you!!! its my secret talent now hehe
Yeah! Such passion and soul!👍
kinda the best video of 2024
I've been following your story for a long time now, and these videos are so valuable. I'm quite a few years older than you, but I have a history in music that has brought me to a place I like, between making music and making content.
Thanks for this. Please keep it up.
Hah! Very honest opinion of yourself 'growing up' ! I love it. Most musicians/music players go through this, including to a very lesser degree, me...the hobbyist. The realization that they are 'not going to make it big.' However most of us do make it 'through the day/night.' Great story telling.
Great story! This is how you go from bar gigs to running your own successful business. Hard work, talent, more hard work, and still more hard work.
Amazing! You've got a real talent for this.
so impressed with your talent and drive. great job!
always amazing video, Seids!!
A fascinating and inspiring video - I left my home country and for many years I live by making music here in France. I direct choirs , I've written musicals, have a group and given lessons. Your Logic videos are so helpful, you're fantastic -thanks for sharing. Bisous😘
Coming from France, this video sounds crazy. It's a long story but your video explains why a lot of French artists are stuck in their littleness and why Americans artists are producing all the time (and why american music is so recognizable). The real reason (le nerf de la guerre) is money. If you've got nothing, you have to work. And by working -- as you done on those cruises -- you're learning a lot.
Always inspiring hearing this story. Thanks for sharing your journey!
I've never been more inspired by a video. Thank you! And guys, if you're Logic Pro users, her crash course is wonderful!
Ahhhh thank you so much!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Super refreshing.. honest too!..
Wow Seids! You are such a wonderful person; this is a very generous sharing! I get good energy from watching your videos. What a great story you are telling about your life. You are so inspiring! Love again from Sweden❤
Omg thank you so much!!!
Thanks, Seids! Your video has really inspired me a ton, not just this one. I'm just taking a slightly different route. I want to write music for myself and leave something behind before I kick the bucket. So, If you have a concert coming up, let me know! I’d definitely grab a ticket if I can make it.
Very inspiring! You are a rock star! And a great singer!
You’ve done some great singing! Great work!
Holy Smokes, what an amazing voice! WOW!
thank you so much!!!
I enjoyed watching your journey. Cool vid
Great video. Thanks for sharing! It’s always fascinating to hear people’s professional stories.
Thank you Seids! This was an awesome video and very inspiring!
I really appreciate your honesty and approach to your channel. Truly informative and I appreciate that.
That girl group was impressive. Too bad covid put the kibosh in that.
Wishing you continued success in all your endeavors.
Your Logic stuff is excellent and this video was interesting for sure!
Thanks so much for your honesty and transparency. It is so inspiring! You are obviously a go-getter and that's what it takes to be successful (along with some talent). I don't know if you've ever dealt with it personally, or addressed it in a video in the past, but I would love to hear you talk about Imposter Syndrome and how you deal with it.
You kind of just have to plow past it and accept that you are not and will never be the best. Talent is something you’re born with, but skills are something you can earn. You earn them through learning and output-over and over again.
I also work really hard on my mindset, which, believe me, is an uphill battle. Depression and anxiety are my default emotions, so I have to trick my brain into moving past them. I’m very goal-oriented, so I set up challenges for myself and focus on the goal above everything else.
I remind myself to get 1% better every day, knowing that my best songs are still 20 years away. It takes the pressure off. This is something most of us deal with, so don’t feel like you’re on your own out here.
Thanks so much for the reply. This is really helpful. Depression and anxiety have been my constant companions for a large part of my life. It's so hard to shut out the intrusive and self-defeating thoughts. I think the goal-setting is something I'm lacking and would probably be super helpful in my case. Thanks for the inspiration!
You sound great doing covers!!! Most of my income is from playing with party bands and church on Sunday!!!but very motivating!!!
Love hearing about your story. I have a similar one as a DJ
Very interesting. It’s very helpful to learn about the pay rates. Thanks for creating this.
Thank you for sharing this. How interesting!
Love this!
Ha! I had no idea you were here in Vegas. Nice!
you have managed so much in these ten years! wow!
It makes me sad that I did not have the drive to apply to music college when I was younger, just sat with my guitar and nerded out! :/
@@SpecNoteMusicproduction Don't be sad. She also said she didn't learn what she needed in Music College. You benefit from her experience.
@ Yea thats true. But it would have given me alot of more contacts early on!
This is excellent work, and well thought out for those looking to make a living n the music business, which is incredibly hard to do. It takes a lot of drive to maintain this. There is also an incredible amount of talent (I live in Hollywood) so establishing your own "world" is critical. Congratulation.
thank you so much!!!!
It's fantastic that you had a career in music before doing your TH-cam work. Not an easy living .
You be sanging girl. I’d love to hear you sing full out like that more often.
This is great advice! Thank you!
Fascinating.
Cool voice! 😎☘
Thanks for the video! Question: when you were gigging, did you seek out the gigs on your own? And if so, do you have any tips for getting gigs when you are just starting out in a new place? (as a singer/songwriter)
Inspiring..
Las Vegas is like a cruise ship but you are on land 😂😂😂
Interesting ,thank you : )
Best part of the video is watching your hairstyles evolve over the years, good stuff. Love the journey, thanks for sharing.
Haha yes!! They are still evolving haha
Webster Hall in the 90s. Fun times.
You at 1:29 is CRAZY 😂
damn. obsession with you increased
your talking voice sounds nothing like your singing voice. you sound great
How did you teach yourself to produce?
I watched a few courses! One of them taught by Blanks!
Lol @ the accidental head bonk 😅 @8:34
Dang what a slog ._. So long as you enjoyed what you were doing though!
Is it me or is this girl Mrs Benjamin Buttons
can i have some of your money?
No but I can teach you how to make your own money : )
You’re amazing. 😊
always amazing video, Seids!!
