Been a Logic user for 18 years and it has come along way . I have other DAW'S BUT I find knowing one Daw in side out is priceless especially key command s
SEIDS, your content and crash course have taken me out of an almost decade long rut and I finally am starting to feel capable of producing in Logic Pro. Im now working on new music that I actually want to finish for the first time in YEARS. Can’t thank you enough for what you do on this channel
This video was amazing. I took notes. I make art (collage) and I am going to apply your principles to that. I also recently got Logic ProX because I thought it would be fun to play with making music. It's a whole world unto itself, so I don't know what I was thinking. :) I just found you the other day and you have great energy, so I bought your book.
Thanks for all your efforts Seids, your content has helped my journey learning Logic tremendously. Have you released any of your music? Id love to check it out and support if so!
Ok. I had COVID reboot as well. As a former GB and Logic user I have a warning for those looking to get into it. Apple loves to force you to upgrade your computer every 5 years. Not 10 like most. Trust me, I've been down this road since 1999. I still use Mac but have moved onto Studio One. Why? It's a great DAW and has more upgrades and improvements than most. (Their ATMOS has already surpassed Logic in terms of ease of use.,etc). But mostly, Studio One was the only DAW that worked with my 2012 Mac during COVID. It was that kind of commitment that opened my eyes to Apple's planned obsolescence. Case in point: I finally bought a new Silicon Mac with Monterey OS about 2 years ago. The current version of Logic is incompatible with Monterey? Unacceptable. And criminal.
@@drvoodoo3073 Because updating isn't always optimal unit all the dozens of 3rd party software are cleared. NEVER update until you check every single one. (Sure, I will at some point). That said - It's still ridiculous for the latest incarnation of Logic to not be compatible with the first output of Silicon Macs barely 2 years ago. Again - if Studio One and others can do it, so can Apple. But they won't. * The window for eventually upgrading your computer that can "handle" their proprietary software, is getting smaller and smaller. Another lie I could go on about, as I HAVE, by going into the Terminal and bypassed the clock for an install - successfully made older Macs compatible. Oh... but if you do that? Once you go online with that computer, be warned. The computer "checks in" and the next time you open that software, you'll be greeted with a message about an outdated "certificate." And all your crafty work in the Terminal - and your compositions will become digital dust. And you'll be compelled to "upgrade". Now, for lots of reasons, I still prefer Apple to PC's. (🤮) But, I've bypassed their proprietary music software shenanigans. Don't use Logic. 🥳
I don't agree but each one to his/her own. I tried a of them and went back to fl studio. I find that in general fl studio is like the Swiss knife of daws.

Your charm is your accessibility. You speak to your audience with straight-forward advice and direct content - well done! 😉

Also don’t worry I won’t ever ask you to find my dad because he’s dead 11:47
I love Logic Audio because…..for me it just works and makes sense. I have used Cubase in the past but Logic just is the one for me.
they’re mostly the same but Cubase is bigger & much easier when it comes to Audio-Editing.
New to your channel, middle aged musician and tech nerd, very impressed, great content on your channel so far.
Wow that bit about being positive. Such a gem of a tip. And completely true ✅✅💯💯

Hey, Seids... thank you for all your content... it's really helpful and I've learned a lot from you. You're awesome!
Thank you for existing 🙂 mad helpful content, the bestest
Inspiring path you’re on! Thanks!
Fantastic talk Seids x
I haven’t paid for an update in over 14 years! Logic does everything. It’s much more efficient then ableton
Just think about it, the cost of an Ableton UPDATE is the same as the cost of Logic! It’s ridiculous
@ yep! And logic actually does more than ableton if you understand the environment!
Great video! I enjoyed your answers
Loved it! Great info. More please!
Blanks is great!
*_Positivity_* !... *_Amen_* 🔥

Thank u .
Is there a key command to select 1/2 note; 1/4 note; etc in Logic 11's SCORE EDITOR?
Cubase all the way.

You have a Silicon Mac, meaning that you can update to the latest macOS. Why are you still on Monterey? That’s on you, not Apple

Blanks! 💌
Seiiiids, are you still send the mind set MMMM by e mail? I miss it 🥺
Omg!! I wasn’t sure if people liked them!!! Yes I’ll get back on it!!
But SEIDS if you had gone Pro Tools you'd have double or triple the number of shortcuts to make videos about, it's a business opportunity.
Your dog is a music producer?
