That’s a good price. I paid $7000 for my single wide. A lady was going through a divorce and had to sell quick. My lot rent is $225 and I live in Louisiana. I’m wondering if it’s located here. We pay up our lot rent a year so we can concentrate on other things. We started remodeling about a year ago. I pulled down all the wood paneling in two rooms to put in drywall. We also plan to add an outlet for our generator. Trying to get it in great shape to move to land in 3 or 4 years.

I would make 1 change in the layout. Where the washer & dryer is, I would reimagine that wall putting a pocket door on the bedroom wall that connects to the bathroom & close off the other door. This would make the bathroom an en suite, more valuable & a better selling point. Otherwise, nice job.😊
I LIKE THE CARPET SQUARES!! I’ve thought about doing that to one of my rentals but I just thought it was weird. But you know what… being weird is better than being like everyone else. Great REMODEL!
Awesome job on the trailer remodel, but I have to wonder about the math here. You put in $20,000 and sold it for $29,000, giving you a $9,000 profit. Assuming you spent around 200 hours on the project (which, by the way, is roughly 4 full work weeks), that breaks down to about $45 per hour of labor if there were no additional expenses. ... might not want to quit your day job just yet! Was it really that little time? If it took longer, the hourly rate would be even lower. Just curious-wouldn’t it have been more profitable to invest that time and effort into something like building a stick-built house on a prepared site instead? Seems like it could offer better returns for all the work involved. Thanks for sharing the project though-really impressive work!
If you do not know. HUD has changed the term from mobile home to manufacturer home. WHY. Because from 1976 to date, manufacturers homes do not have wheels. Any home other than a row/townhouse can be placed on a flat bed and moved.
beautifully done, either you or the family who lives here will have an amazing starter home! I'm a college student looking for affordable housing, stuff like this and cheap little travel trailers are more than enough space for me and my pup!! that guest bathroom could be another bedroom lol
This is really cute, clean, and affordable for most people. I dont know if you finance these? Banks dont loan on these old trailers so $20,000 would be hard for some people to come up with. Its sure cute and has everything anybody would need. Good job!
This is a nicely done job. I think it could’ve been done a little better.. I don’t like the island in the kitchen like it doesn’t match the rest of the countertop and the space underneath it I just think it’s just not as functionable. And I don’t think they care to have my washer and dryer in my bathroom but it’s nice to have one now and I think the closets could’ve been a little bigger maybe tore the closets down and put a little bit more space in the closet in the bedroom on the carpet is not my favorite I would if I bought it I would actually rip up the carpet and just put a little bit better carpet in the bedrooms but overall fantastic job.
Foundations at a bargain basement rate would help improve popularity of trailer living. Ultra low taxes of private owned lot would make retirement make happen much sooner with less. If not much better than apartment living.
The opening under the counter is a super bad idea. A pure delight for kids and animals to use as a play ground to run in circles especially when you want to cook.😂😂😂😂😂
Too many clashing colors going on. Those brown walls are making the space look smaller and dated. Kitchen island wood countertop clashes, and the carpets in the bedrooms reminds me of office floors. Should have just carried the wood floors throughout.

@@sheramiedelozier312270s-90s browner colors are a lot better than brand new office building esque bland white interior design
I agree it looks like make up only
4/10 to me.
I’d say he put maybe 2000$ in to it
I’d never pay 25000$ that’s stupid
Ok very nice and all but where is this located??? Also missing a dish washer
Should of used the same black counter top instead of butcher block but you did a really great job 👍
Very nice !!! Wow! You did a great job ! It is beautiful !!!
Great job remodeling.
Stunning!
Good job!
Looks really nice
Thanks!
That's Beautiful for that price..holy.. hope you have an awesome 4th of july🎉
In a ❤ beat I’d buy this. Layout exactly to my liking! Lot rent cost unheard of! Where is this?
This is a nicely done job. I think it could’ve been done a little better.. I don’t like the island in the kitchen like it doesn’t match the rest of the countertop and the space underneath it I just think it’s just not as functionable. And I don’t think they care to have my washer and dryer in my bathroom but it’s nice to have one now and I think the closets could’ve been a little bigger maybe tore the closets down and put a little bit more space in the closet in the bedroom on the carpet is not my favorite I would if I bought it I would actually rip up the carpet and just put a little bit better carpet in the bedrooms but overall fantastic job.
agreed
Foundations at a bargain basement rate would help improve popularity of trailer living.
Ultra low taxes of private owned lot would make retirement make happen much sooner with less.
If not much better than apartment living.
Looks nice except for the vent in front of the stove. Way bigger & better than an apartment.
WHAT CITY AND STATE?
The opening under the counter is a super bad idea. A pure delight for kids and animals to use as a play ground to run in circles especially when you want to cook.😂😂😂😂😂
That kitchen is bigger than what I have in my home. Very nice! But what state?
Did you find and good prices on the flooring. I was hoping to find peel and dtick flooring cheap
Wondering what state and area etc. This channel keeps popping up on my feed so perhaps I should see if the area Im planning to move to.
Now that is something great & beneficial to so many. Thank you for sharing.
Nice ive been looking at handyman special mobile homes . Is that linoulom or snap together fllooring ?
Really cool wish I could buy something like that in Florida. Great job.
Too many clashing colors going on. Those brown walls are making the space look smaller and dated. Kitchen island wood countertop clashes, and the carpets in the bedrooms reminds me of office floors. Should have just carried the wood floors throughout.
Not liking the washer/dryer in bathroom. Is there a utility room to move it too?
I like that 3 bedroom I like all of God my dream I ask God wants tiny house I love it
What I don’t like about some mobile homes are the bed rooms is a little small
sheesh, that's a great price. i live in a tiny trailer that cost 30k it's nice, but so is space!
I don't know what kind of shape it was in when you found it but looks like a new place you guys did a great job
I'm looking to do the same in central Florida
Can you tell me where you go for Smaller appliances ..I just bought a 1989 and the ones in here are way to big and heavy.. Thank you..
Just beautiful house ❤❤❤
Great job done on this mobile home☺️
But why sell it when you can collect rent every month?
Last time I seen a jack and Jill bathroom was on the brady bunch. That would be sweet for any home to have
I've always wanted to live in a compound. Working with others as a community.
Yes I would pay for that in NYC for 2.500 u get a refrigerator box
love the jack & jill bathroom
Very nice, where is the location?
any guide you can recommend on finding and confirming the structural integrity of used mobile homes?
So much nicer than the video I just watched about a $156k 14x48 shed or a 16x 32 empty shed with stud walls or 36k.
Nice work 🎉what state is this?
That's my question, too! The lot rent is only $260. I pay $889 for lot rent in Massachusetts and it goes up every year.
Jesus Murphy that’s a decent trailer
We live in Northern mich and live in a mobile our lot rent is 425 and our mobile has no mortgage bought in 2009 for $1,000 needing work redid the kitchen 7 yrs ago new roof in 2024 . Living room. Needs new flooring.
Where did you get this mobile home from & what city is this? Interesting video
this look like angry grandpas old mobile home just renovated 💀😭
Beautiful ❤ What state is this in?
Interesting. I'm considering a way to purchase some property and considering placing a manufactured home on it. I do see some options with manufactured homes already in place. My biggest concern is that whole plumbing issue with the bad piping. Any idea how I can avoid this issue?
My lot rent was 714$ in Kansas City Kansas. It includes trash
Water/sewer
Our lot rent went up 30$ this year
In 2008 it was 320$
I wish my lot rent was 225! Dang
That a good pirice
They're not even listing what state this is in
why should they again? what exactly does it do for you?😂
