The Rohingya genocides started at 2011, people protested for democracy and freedom way before the genocides (protests include 8888 uprising, saffron revolution). There are many more ethnic groups that have faced way worst genocides by the military. Imagine the military with full absolute power, think of what they can do.

We are sad to see young protesters getting shot and imprisoned and tortured. We are aware of what China is doing to all of Asia and our country. Have some compassion please. The UN Security Council has 15 members, and five of them - US, UK, Russia, China and France - are permanent members, who have veto rights. The UN can only take action if China and Russia agree. The Chinese and Russian authorities are using their veto power to stop an arms embargo, they sold weapons to the military junta.

Not so much a problem for Kuwait when Saddam Hussein confiscated Kuwait, and Kuwait paid the USA for their help. Myanmar is Not so lucky right now, so they won’t be able to Pay the USA and the EU for their help, and Help is needed for Humanitarian reasons. That is what I mean with “at any cost” - NOT for Myanmar to pay, but the Cost for Other countries Helping Myanmar out of this Nightmare.
