One of the most powerful tools oppressed communities have is solidarity, and that starts with the recognition that the vast majority of human rights abuses we face across the country are committed by the same perpetrator. www.myanmar-now.org/en/news/whatever-myanmar-tells-the-uns-top-court-the-only-hope-for-the-militarys-victims-is-to-stand “The UN human rights envoy for Myanmar Yanghee Lee reminded her audience that other groups across Myanmar have faced the same atrocities for generations. This approach encouraged many ethnic activists to be more open to understanding the Rohingya’s situation. Lee understood that the Tatmadaw depends on dividing up different parts of Myanmar’s population and turning them against one another."

@Abdul Ghafoor Harvard research paper (July 2013 Creating a future using natural resources for new federalism and unity) p.22 authors: David Dapice/Nguyen Xuan Thanh ash.harvard.edu/files/creating.pdf “Many Muslims never had papers or have had their papers destroyed or taken in various civil disturbances and cannot prove citizenship. It is heartening that both President Thein Sein and Aung San Suu Kyi have spoken up clearly against the anti-Muslim violence. Ensuring adequate protection of minorities and prosecution of the guilty should follow.” Funding for the study was provided by the Royal Norwegian Government.

@Abdul Ghafoor I want to say ..Our third Mother Aung Sun Suu Kyi is not let yo kill Rohingya. That all make Min Aung Hlaing. If u search more information , u will know that .
The military has traditionally held 25 percent of the seats in parliament. Therefore, our mother Aung San Suu Kyi does not have full power. When the Rohingya were killed, we only knew the wrong information and did not know the death toll.
So one thing I sure is Our Mother Aung Sun Suu Kyi is innocent in that case ..
But I really sorry for that case bec I don't any actions for Rohingya...

This population has long suffered horrific violence at the hands of the Myanmar military with impunity, as documented by the Independent Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar established by the Human Rights Council. “We are deeply concerned about the impact that the current situation may have on these populations and are closely monitoring developments. The rights of minority groups, including the Rohingya population must be fully respected,” the two UN officials stated. They noted the diversity of the protest movement, and encouraged the newfound sense of unity across ethnic and religious divides, as well as the growing recognition of past crimes against minorities, including Rohingya.”

@Abdul Ghafoor Yes, We are so sorry for Rohingya people 🙏 I know what you mean I explain you. So you listen carefully. Our leader "Aung San Su Kyi" since the beginning of the people's government in 2015, she has faced many difficulties with the military. Because she is the leader of government but she has no power. Power is in the hand of military. She did not tell us that reason. Now we just found out nowadays. Similarly, Rohingya issue was also created by the military. Because they wanted her to go to the ICJ and get her removed. So I want to know you. Aung San Su Kyi is not silent killer. This is the bad story of our country. Thus, need to help the people of Myanmar. So, do you know?

In Kachin, the Kachin Independence Army shot down a Tatmadaw helicopter in Momauk Township on Tuesday, killing a captain, a major and a sergeant. Civilians took up arms in remote western Magway Region this week, the first such incident we've heard from that region so far, reportedly killing four soldiers in Tilin Township. Hakha Township in Chin State also saw fresh clashes, with locals reportedly killing nine Tatmadaw troops. In Mandalay's Sintgaing Township, an armed band of 20 reportedly attacked a police outpost guarding a Chinese oil and gas pipeline, killing three of the six police officers stationed there. Finally, major clashes broke out between the Tatmadaw and the allied Ta’ang National Liberation Army and Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army in northern Shan State's Kutkai Township on Tuesday and Wednesday, in perhaps the fiercest fighting in Shan State since the coup.

@Abdul Ghafoor The military had 25% of the country’s power during the Rohingya genocides. The Rohingya genocides started at 2011, people protested for democracy and freedom way before the genocides (protests include 8888 uprising, saffron revolution). There are many more ethnic groups that have faced way worst genocides by the military. Imagine the military with full absolute power, think of what they can do.
