While having an episode it truly feels like life is never going to get better and unfortunately I must say I’m in this situation with my schizoaffective disorder right now. But you are a living proof that even my current mental space can and WILL change for the better. I’m so so happy for you and excited to see what you are up to 😄❤️

So glad you are feeling better!
My "whys" are constant and incurable, but I had the depressive episodes before the whys were a thing. I find things in my life that are very worth blaming for the depression, but haven't found that it helps me get through them.

It is wonderful to see all of you smiling once again. It is difficult for me to see someone smiling with their mouth but feeling their pain instead of contentment, happiness or joy. I'm so proud of you for fighting through the hell you were experiencing, and for proving to so many that there can be light at the end of most dark tunnels with time and some work. Sadly, there are too many people who are battling mental health issues who have no access to psychiatrists (little alone good ones), medications, therapy or positive and supportive friends and family and I feel it's important that people recognize and remember this. Having access to even one of those things is a privilege that no one should take for granted. For those who suffer without assistance or support and are often all alone please know that no matter how invisible you may feel at times that I see you and I hear you and I never forget that you are out there and I will always fight for all of us to be seen, assisted, valued, appreciated and loved. ❤ I'm excited and looking forward to your new content. Hoping you continue to improve and feel better as the world needs more people like you in it! 🦋

So glad you're feeling better Kit, you being out of depression makes me want to get out of mine :) It's nice that lithium works for you, I kind of envy you there, it didn't work for me at all, and if milk takes nausea away for you, that's even better because milk is amazing if you ask me (all those nutrients and imho it's not our first food without a reason). So nice to see you again, stay healthy :)

Thanks so much! I probably should have been drinking milk this whole time 😂 Oh well, better late than never!

I looked it up and apparently potatoes help because the starch is good at absorbing stomach acid.

Yay, it's finally over! Thank you for this update.
I'm sorry you had to go back on a higher dose of lithium after all, but yay for finding a way to manage the side effects! (And of course I extra love the fact that milk is what helps LOL - heck yes for being in the "milk is my new best friend" club.) It's really cool that you and your therapist dug into the "why" of this episode, & that therapy was helpful for getting out of it. And yay for getting out & doing things like mall walking & hanging out with friends - I'm glad that helped you get through the episode too.
Thank you again for documenting this episode. I'm glad you're on the other side of it, & I'm excited for your upcoming projects on the channel! :)

I knew you’d love the milk comment! Milk club for lifeeeeeeeeeeee. And thanks for checking out this miniseries! This one was good to film and I was so happy that I was mostly all better at this point. Thanks as always for the wonderful comments, GC!

that is amazing! so glad you are breakaking through this episode, it can take a lot to get through an episode and there seems to be no limit on how long an episode may last and the three things you listed are exactly the things that help me get through episodes as well, though not all the time for me. Thank you for keep making videos on the topic as there are only a few youtube channels that actually tackle this and even then its not on a constant basis.

Really happy you're feeling better. It gives me hope. Im going through a pretty horrdenous depressive episode now. Climbing mount everest to get out of bed is the perfect description of the struggle. Doc has been called, and here's to future euthymia. Thank you for sharing. It really helps me.

I got out of psychosis by acting. Acting is my greatest coping mechanism. What exactly crazy is I don't know beyond mistaken beliefs but then Elon Musk believes we are most assuredly living in a computer simulation to give an example of how strange beliefs are ubiquitous. I'm thinking insanity is not being yourself. And that's my definition. I will add that not knowing your own likes and dislikes is as insane as delusions, not knowing pleasure from pain. And there's also the childishness that I experienced.

My sister is suffering from this but she doesn't want believe that she has a disease. She dosen't want to talk to doctors nor take any prescribed medications by 5150 psychiatrist. I want to help her but she is not allowing it. Seems like symptoms are getting worse. I am worried about her and helpless. I want help her but don't know how.
If anyone was in similar situation before please give me some pointer.
My poor sister is suffering and I am hating myself for not being able to help her.
