Same issue with my trans in my Power Wagon (6.4L) 66rfe. Mines got 46k miles, never had 1issue but now it's behaving like your broken trans was it sounds like. Just took a shit on the highway for me. Bringing mine in to dealer in a cpl days... hoping they fix it correctly. Any advice? Nice truck and exhaust too!
I would definitely say be as descriptive as you can with the service writers. I have a scanner so I knew exactly what codes were thrown and I could see all the data. They did replace the white le trans which was a +. However I have 85K now. And the trans shift solenoid pack went out. Complete limp mode. Dealer replaced under warranty and no problems. That happened Christmas week. Only problem I’ve had with the truck. Let me know what happens to your truck. Your vids are good!
RD Auto 102 Thank you sir! Yea I'm pretty sure my truck is in the same boat then, I'll have my uncle plug a scan tool in and get the faulty code. And then hopefully the dealer gets her goin soon! I'll keep ya updated, I'm glad they warrantied your truck and thanks for the informative video.
A typical dodge....... doesn’t surprise me this is why I love duramaxs and why u currently own one at lease they can handle extra power without blowing something up
Yeah man . It's hit or miss with that specific transmission. I've seen many problems with them but also know lots of people who it's been flawless for them . It is what it is. Just hope they mess up under warranty
So watching this I had a few thing to add. My 2 cents if ya will. I have a 2016 ram 2500 with 6.4, I have damn near 100,000 miles on it. I have never had an issue with the tranny. I do know that there is a recall concerning the solenoid on the side of the transmission that causes the it to kick down. But that what I've found out and had mine fixed. On a side note don't say you have a thirsty truck......It's a truck. People don't buy trucks because they get 40mpg lol. Anyways good luck hopefully you got this fixed or.may e you just got a shitty truck and you'll have to work thru it
Here’s a tip: take that stupid music off from the background and get to the point a little faster you beat around the bush too much. Turned a 2 minute video into an 11 minute video.
My 2018 Cummins powered 2500 is at the dealership right now with the transmission out. Fortunately under warranty.

Gamerbeastboy18 You can’t have transmission issues with a duracrap when the engine doesn’t work long enough to fuck something up!
