It pisses me off so much that my family and friends are constantly trying to get me to buy from their MLM “businesses” and yet they won’t buy anything from my Etsy shop. That I started myself and run myself and make everything on my own by hand WHILE also working a part time office job. 🙄
Oooooohhh sounds like you need to hit them up! Haha Ill have to check my local goodwills, personally the baby poo green & brown prints are AMAZEBALLS😂😂😂
Nicole Kawa shouldn’t the hospital or office you work at cover that? I know for my friends who are nurses get paid back what they pay for license renewals, etc. Same with CNAs and CMAs. My office paid to renew my CMA certificate. You’d think since you need the license to work - your play of employment would make sure you weren’t responsible.
@Nugget G I thought I came across that name associated with Beach Body. Let me see if I can find what I was looking at that that name is ringing a bell. I really do appreciate what kiki is doing. I'm sure she takes a fair amount of abuse as a result. The reason I appreciate her work on these posts is, for one thing, I have not seen my company on her list of MLM's. I actually found a company that looks on the outside like MLM, in fact that's a common objection I must overcome, but it's not once you get into the details of the business model. It is Network marketing but not MLM. I mean there is a full, very full benefits package involved. Full medical, dental, vision, retirement plan (The "lovin' life" gal, Kiki, has mentioned how advantageous a pension would be but that MLM never includes anything like a pension), even tuition reimbursement for, not just the rep., but for an immediate family member as well. This does not describe MLM, now does it? But that's what people think right off the bat so I must continue to struggle to educate, educate, educate. I'll get back with you on the name. Thanks for responding to my comment. Have a great day and may God bless.....
@@azaleakatzenberger8162 wow the state lost? I think its because techncally they do sell merchandise so the legal term is if they do not sell products or something
Yup. I did it and the ONLY reason I ended up making any money was because I got out when they did a month of complete buy back. But I only came out on top by $2500 so totally not worth the effort and stress. It has ended really bad for people sadly :-(
I put in $10,000 to my lularoe business. Thank god I was able to get out of it when I did. I look back and don’t know what the hell I was thinking... people literally look like toddlers dressed in it...
Sara Secondcost there’s a woman on here who has a bunch of videos. She stated that she was making $15k a month. I don’t get it though. The leggings are horrid. Who in the hell wants to walk around with a hexagram on their crouch.
I’ll stick to my 35hr/week full time nursing job with 5 weeks PTO, flex time, weekends/holidays off and bonuses.. 401k, health insurance, dental insurance, eye insurance... and plenty of time to have a social life lol. Enjoy your MLM “benefits”! In all seriousness, it’s really great that you’re making these videos.
Kaylee Budde i work in community/outpatient psych! More intensive than a clinic but not as acute as inpatient. It is a little less pay compared to a hospital but I get a ton of PTO and no weekends/holidays so I usually end up picking up weekends and most holidays at my per-diem job at a hospital! I don’t miss being required to work holidays or weekends at all though lol.
I once when was literally still a child my friend’s older sister asked if I wanted to have a Mary Kay party and being like 11 I was like heck yeah. I didn’t understand obviously and just thought she meant we were gonna have a party and play with makeup so that’s what I asked my mom permission for. So the day comes and I have a few friends over including the younger sister, and the Mary Kay girl was pissed because she had expected me to gather a party of people looking to buy Mary Kay. It was super uncomfortable. Don’t tell an 11 year old you’re throwing a party unless you mean that literally lol
I had a friend who was in her moms downline in highschool and invited us to her birthday party which was a surprise pampered chef party we were forced to sit through
So, I accidentally got my funniest pair of leggings from lularoe. I got them as a gift - I opened the box to see bright purple leggings with pink origami cranes all over them. They quickly became my high pants. I ONLY wear them when I’m high... because what sober person would ever wear them regularly??
lmao I must live under a rock because I've never heard of this one... so people are paying $5k to SELL fugly leggings? .....I'll go back under my rock now, I don't get it
All the PTA moms at my kids school had huge Lularoe stickers on the back of their SUVs a couple of years ago. I had no idea what that even was. Glad I never asked them. 😬
Laura Lopez dude, I passed a lady on the 690 in Syracuse with a big Lularoe decal on her back window....all I could think was, “oh baby, no...what is you doin?”
My cousin is a teacher at a public elementary school, and I can definitely attest that her wardrobe is primarily built upon Lularoe leggings and other brand of leggings because of how comfortable and easy they are to wear. (Especially when teachers are constantly moving around and active)
True! Some girl tried to get me to join It works and I always thought to myself if I'm going to invest in a business to be an "entrepreneur" it's going to be MY business with the product I want.
I can't believe the initial $5000 package does not come with leggings?? Isn't that the point?! They clearly are forcing you to buy bigger pack or add on.
I went through a few MLMs and gave up. They drained me. I felt like I was working two full time jobs and going no where. Now I have my own small business and a growing etsy shop. Making my cute handmade items and knowing that someone else also loves them is the best feeling in the world!
Some of my family members are addicted to doing any and all types of MLMs. It’s so sad that people keep giving their money to these companies instead of putting their time and effort into a real job that will actually make them money.. please keep making these videos, they are so good!!
I told this one girl point blank . If you have to pay to work it's a scam. No job in my life ever asked me to pay them to work for them. No job on this planet wants you pay money to get hired to work there
Angela Neidlinger that’s not true though. And trust me, I hate mlms. But there are a ton of careers where you pay to work. Being a hairdresser, you pay a booth rental fee. I’m a real estate broker, so I pay firm dues, monthly desk fees, etc. etc.
@@Kris-ej4ik It is not the same if you rent a spot/booth or an office to run your own business, or even pay suppliers for the goods to sell vs working for a company that pretends it's "your" business, even though you are basically a consultant that should be on this company's payroll.
Omg Kylie. Yesterday I saw a childhood family-friend at the gym who reached out to me a few years ago out of nowhere (it had been about 15 years since we’ve seen each other) to ‘catch up.’ That coffee meetup quickly turned into him asking me to join his MLM. Needless to say, I avoided him at the gym. #phew
WOW. At least she didn't ask you to join her MLM? But still that sucks. I'm gonna be so weary about old friends trying to get back in touch with me from now on.
I hate MLM's and people know Facebook who just randomly add you to their stupid groups without asking and blast that crap every day on their timeline .
I wish you would do one of these on young living oils, or doterra. Any of the essential oil ones that basically tell you spend all your money and you'll never need a doctor again.
Posting in 2021. Interesting to see Young Living’s influence on our overall culture during a pandemic with a free vaccine… oy vey I cannot tell you how many people I’ve met who are convinced their essential oils protect them from COVID
Why would anyone do this? You'd be better off thrifting and reselling on poshmark or depop. Or actually opening a booth at a flea market and ordering bulk from a distributor.
These awful MLM's exploit the uneducated and the gullible. People in debt, people who are jobless, stay-at-home moms with small children, young and dumb people are ripe pickens for these vultures. Some girl I used to work with used to badger me into getting into Mary Kay & she actually got enraged with me when I said "NO WAY"!
Jamelyn james exactly! I made about $800 in one single month my cleaning out one of my closets (clothing I hadn’t worn in over a year) and selling some gently used clothing on Poshmark and Mercari! There are much better ways to earn some extra cash rather than joining these MLMs!
I'm going to be blunt, but please just hear me out: 99% of the people who buy into Lularoe are women who are buying into a culture. Typically these women -- who are exclusively all moms -- are wanting comfy clothing that are also "stylish" When you go to these parties, you get a chance to socialize with women your own age, in the midst of all the sporting events, choir concerts, play dates, etc. that you have to take your children to. And when you go to these parties, it's addicting to want more and more clothes to be more and more like your friends. Its the same addiction that regular shoppers have when they buy clothes from traditional sources, such as Target or Forever 21. When you are told there is a way you can stay home and make money while being a soccer mom, you're going to take that opportunity. Especially when you are guilt tripped into being a seller -- "stay at home, make money." The only problem, as constantly addressed by MLM critiques, is that starting an MLM "independent" business involves a lot of money you are having to invest to buy the starter pack -- and then there is even more money that is involved to throw the parties and make sure your product is successfully advertised with the last-ditch effort to make even $1,000 of your money back, let alone a substantial profit.
My mom sold Mary Kay in the 80's and 90's. She tried to go back to selling it in the early 2000's but decided not to do it because she saw how much the business had changed over the years. She basically said she wouldn't be able to back a living off of it like she did back in the day. That and she didn't want to "recruit" people into selling too. She just wanted to do what she loved and sell makeup and give people makeovers. It broke her heart because she truly loved the company.
My mom sold Mary Kay for about a year maybe 2-3 years ago and she still has stock that she wasn’t able to sell and she was working more than she is now at her current job
@@emilie5523 my best friend doesn't sell it but she does side work for a hun we both know. She told me that if you can't sell all of your stuff, you're not working your business correctly. I told her she better stop drinking the kool aid. 🤦♀️
so many people get sucked in that they “own their own business” when it’s not true. you’re an independent consultant. There’s a huge difference. Owning a business is having rights and a say as to what you sell. If you own a legging company and you see oh wow this pair sold out, people like this let me order this black pattern.. this red pattern didn’t do well I don’t want that pattern. With LLR you don’t get that. It’s disgusting. You can open a hair salon for close to 10 grand!! lol ps: I love how in the doc she was like I GOT A WATCH! you bought $5 grand in product and got a watch 🙄
Yes, I hate that! Several of my friends sell Rodan and Fields and they post all the time about how much they love having their own business. These are smart, educated women. I cannot understand for the life of me how they got sucked in. I get selling crap to try to make money, but the whole having their own business line...?
@siomai I can only assume you're trying to be clever and say they aren't educated if they are selling stuff this way... Because your question at face value is silly. They are my friends. Of course I know that they are educated.
@@snowps1 definitely not their fault for getting tricked into it and says nothing bad about their intelligence, lots of people get manipulated into joining these companies sadly
Oh my gosh, the teacher I worked with during my student teaching was a part of LulaRoe. She constantly told me about how it worked and how other teachers bought from her. She definitely had a good demographic, and from what I saw was selling quite often. At the end of the year she invited me to her home to look at some stuff. Her entire garage was transformed into a makeshift boutique, plus her living room was filled with bins and bins of leggings. I felt really pressured to buy things (despite everything being hideous and so not my style) so I ended up getting a couple plain dresses and a pair of leggings (all SUPER overpriced btw, I think I spent over a hundred dollars!!). The whole thing was uncomfortable, especially because she was always mentioning how she'll never retire from teaching because she has no money. I feel so bad knowing she might be in serious debt.
I don’t have any ties to it works but I used their hair skin and nails supplement a few summers ago and my hair grew 6in over the summer. Absolutely insane
@@NaomiSwanson you can buy the same stuff that's as or more effective but cheaper at any vitamin/supplement store and not deal with the guilt of promoting a predatory, anti-woman business model.
$10,000 for 500 pieces means you have to sell every piece for $20 JUST to break even! I see LulaRoe all over buy/sell/trade pages for $10. How is this company still in business?? More importantly, how do people fall for this??
I wouldn’t even want a pair of Lularoe if they were giving them away FREE! And they expect to make a profit off of them?! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ So tired of these MLM scams. It’s absolutely disgusting and beyond greedy the way they prey on vulnerable women!
Dude, they actually are super comfy though lol. Definitely take them if they're free. I only buy them at thrift stores so I don't actually support the scam, and I've never paid more than $2 for a pair lol:)
Senegence was great for me. I spent $55 to start and grew from there. I simply handed out samples and people LOVED it and started ordering. I'm not huge on makeup but their skincare is BOMB! I DO NOT WORK FOR SENEGENCE ANYMORE but that's just because I got sick of taking peoples orders etc and it did take too much time from my family because the reality is I was on my phone A LOT!! Even though I did pretty darn good at it, it just wasnt for me. I do still order skincare and a few other things from another distributor. I really think the ones who dont make it with Senegence dont really think before they go buying a HUGE EXPENSIVE KIT and thats a big mistake.
The first time I bought LipSense I was told that the peeling I may experience after the first few days of using the product would be a release of wax build up from old lipsticks I had used over the years. It was probably the most ridiculous thing I ever heard! Luckily I did not experience this flaking/peeling problem, but I'm almost sure it's caused by the pure alcohol in the product more than this ridiculous 'wax build up' theory.
@@carlamcvittie9128 That is the dumbest excuse/reason (from LipSense) that I have ever heard. Are they out of their minds? I have never found a lipstick which I actually had to take off after 12 hours - it just removes itself within a few hours. If I ever want to change lip color right away, I have never needed to do anything more than wipe it off with cold cream and a tissue - or even just water and an old washcloth!
@@Tina06019 well there are non-transfereable liquid lipsticks made by both big brands and smaller ones, they've been on the market for a long time now. But yah this claim of "wax build up", yikes!
@@carlamcvittie9128 That is insane! The lady i get mine from never said anything crazy like that. She said to use the gloss more to add moisture to my lips and to make sure i'm drinking water. If that did not fix it then stop using it....i think you need a new a new consultant
Wow. I'm just going to sit over here with the $29 I just invested in myself to start my own company, making my own products, and build it from the ground UP. That's determination to succeed. Screw MLM "businesses".
Do a video on Amway! They got me once when I was young and feeling like a loser.. I only lost $80 paying for my "business license" and opening my online store. Stuck around for a just a handful of team meetings, one holiday product party, and one conference. The conference opened my eyes and I gave up. Fortaneately we didn't have to buy stock. It was like a catalog store. But I did get a LOT of samples. They made me feel like I could be a young professional. I saw so much of myself in all the young people at the conference. I saw the blind desperation.
I was sucked into Arbonne when it first came to NZ and I was the most reluctant Arbonne rep you've ever met (I don't know why I even said yes to begin with) for about a year until I told my upline that I just wasn't into it and to let me go lol. You very quickly lose contact with all the so-called "friends" you made along the way 🙄
Tori R I think it is! “The easiest way to start is with friends and family” is what I’ve heard before. Problem is, not many people actually have enough friends and family to build a business, let alone sustain it.
@@Tor.e definitely a prerequisite lol. When they released the sports nutrition range in NZ my upline messaged me and said I needed to promote the range to my mum who is a retired pro athlete and I said I wasn't keen on trying to sell stuff to my family and she tried to say that it's not "sales" but "recommendation" which is apparently different haha.
Ugh these pyramid schemes are so sad. My mom was in one 10 years ago, and idk how much she blew in total, maybe not thousands but definitely more wasted in time that you will just never get back.
Yup i was sucked in to Amway several years back. That was a very dark place in my life. Especially after i quit... i was in a financial ruin. NEVER again
I had an coworker that was a math teacher that tried to rope me into buying this shit. Like SIS you’re a MATH teacher, and a great one at that!! Do the MATH and realize it’s a terrible company with terrible products and terrible tactics.

My sister jumps from mlm to mlm. She's always telling my that I'm poor because I don't "see opportunity". My aunt is a Mary Kay hunbot too. My sister is now in WFG. It's so annoying!
I don't know if my sister has ever actually fallen into selling the shit, but she sure does buy and promote a lot of mlm products. she used to talk about lularoe a few years back, but now she's all about essential oils 🙄🙄 her husband makes pretty good money in the military and she's at home with her two feral children all day and not many friends at their new posting, so who knows. I don't think there's anything wrong with buying a product that you like, even if it's from an mlm, but I'd never be so dumb as to try to sell any of it myself
I sold Mary Kay for a short time. I remember that when I didn't meet the minimum order (I can't remember what it was, but I believe it was like $300) my recruiter would meet with me to plan a way to make more the next month so she would be on track for the next tier. Which added a lot of stress to my family because I had all of this inventory and no leads. It just didn't work for me and I couldn't see how others were making so much. It was awful and really lowered my self-esteem.
I was in Mary Kay too. They're not making money, they're hoarding inventory and placing orders through other people's names in order to move up. Hardly any of them are actually selling anything.
I know 2 girls that do thrive and all I see them post is “step 1: thrive patch. Infuses you with blah blah blah.” One girl is fat and the other has no muscle and is a stick. You really gonna try to tell me how to be healthy girl? 😂
I'm friends with Roberta from the vice documentary and I stopped firsthand how everything went with her because I was in her group on Facebook as a customer and it was insane.
Thanks to you I have gone down a rabbit hole of MLM commentary. TH-cam videos, podcasts, tv shows you name it! If it has MLM in the title or description, I have now seen it. I am convinced more than ever that these MLMs know exactly what they are doing and their preying on economically disenfranchised groups (LulaRoe targets struggling mothers, Herbalife targets immigrants etc) makes me so angry!
Ariel Tims we have 3 herbal life “shake shops” where I live and this town is small! Constantly seeing fb friends posting trying to sell! Also the paparazzi jewelry, Scentsy, Pure Romance, Thrive, Younique....it’s just too much!
SimplyAl yes!! I used to be with them and my upline was just plain mean. She would convince us to keep messaging the same person if they didn’t answer. She would literally tell me to send “??????” if I didn’t get a message back from someone. AND I DID! I can’t believe it. That’s NOT who I am. It was awful. So happy I’m out of it.

Love you Kiki keep it real!!! I got duped into signing up to a forever living mlm as a student nurse and pretty quickly realised it was a scam. By then I’d already paid £300 to sign up! The products were awful, and so expensive I couldn’t sell anything. I would never ever recommend MLM to anyone.
I LOVE THAT GROUP TOO! Joined it without knowing wth ‘MLMs’ were hahaha. I’m all the way from New Zealand and HOLY HECK ALL THESE EX-HIGH SCHOOL ‘PALS’ ARE TRYING TO PASS OFF THEIR ARBONNE FIZZY STICKS, like no pls stahp
I sold lularoe because my sister convinced me to join and it’s the worst decision I ever made in my life in a lot of ways, but I learned so much and grew from it.. and I didn’t lose any money, so at least it wasn’t detrimental.. just a waste of time!
In my local consignment shop there’s 3 8ft racks and a large bookcase stacked full of LulaRoe. The consultant turned to the consignment shop in a final desperate attempt to get anything back from $10,000 investment. The consignment shop can not get rid of them even though most pieces are around $3-$5. It’s so sad. The consignment owner says she tried asking the lady to pick up her merchandise so she could have her space back but she backs off because the lady sounds suicidal. ☹️
I had an in-home party one time, and purchased several tops from them. You are right when you say the quality is poor, because the material pilled up on the cotton tops that I had bought, and I washed them inside out and hung them dry, just like I was instructed. And they just don't look good unless I wear a scarf or something with them to cover up the front area where it seems to be pilling. I would never buy another lularoe piece again.
I have some info in regards to the class action lawsuit against Abercrombie & Fitch if you ever decide to talk about the issues with that company from a few years ago, I used to work at Hollister and that company is corrupt
Look at ebay for some of the MLM items. I would use paypal though to purchase the items since ebay is always hacked it seems. I like the idea of you trying the quality of the lularoe leggings. That would make a great try on/haul video.

I came across your channel recently and really glad you're helping spread awareness of MLMs. I had a friend who got into one a few years ago...I gently warned her at the time without being too pushy, as she was in that ecstatic "new business" phase and at that point, I only had my suspicions. She was also fed up with all the "haters". She'd got recruited into it by a couple who she was renting a place off in a foreign country. I did a bit of background checking on them and turns out they're MLM marketing experts with numerous businesses, and the wife was trained in NLP - handy combination. My friend had been given The Secret, and seemed indoctrinated into this Law of Attraction thinking, with the wife giving her oracle cards and other "helpful" gifts. She came across completely differently from the time I last saw her. I don't know how she got out of it in the end - she sent me a few slightly distressing messages about the husband being pushy and weird, and then she left quite suddenly and with money problems. I haven't mentioned it since and neither has she - I figured she doesn't feel comfortable talking about it and perhaps (and wrongly) feels like an idiot. Just glad she's out of it, though how much time and money she invested I don't know. People are right when they say there's a cult element behind it.
@@lisab5904 not true. There is a startup fee and Avon reps have to have samples it's not required but that's how it works. Avon is horrible to work with I tried it for a few months. When one of Avon's (not mine) orders literally had 2 left feet for the pair of sandals one of my customers had ordered. That was the last straw. Only pyramid scheme I've tried and quickly became the last!
My aunt used to do Pampered Chef about ten years ago. While it's still an MLM, Pampered Chef has really good products that have lasted us a long time, plus the practicality of kitchenware is more justified in the human mind than clothing, makeup, or detox juices/essential oils.
Great video! First, I should say that I've never bought or sold LLR. I've been invited to "pop up parties" but I've never participated because I have no desire to sit through an entire presentation, only to have to fight over the few and far between, most sought after pieces with other party attendees. Still, I'm fascinated by the whole LLR train-wreck. LLR doesn't make money off consumers, LLR makes money off the distributors buying product. If LLR cared about selling the clothes to consumers, they would make lots of unicorn pieces, knowing that that's what the consumer wants. And when the distributor has sold all their desirable pieces and isn't selling anymore? They tell them to buy more inventory. It's a genius way for the company to make money. Put out only a few sellable pieces and constantly encourage distributors to buy more inventory and they will, hoping for more unicorns.
The more I watch your videos the more I realize how smart you are. You are very well spoken you have a great vocabulary and you really have your head in reality compares to most you tubers. I’m blown away-had (by pure luck) no connections to ANY MLMs in any way before stumbling upon this. But after doing research on MLMs and continuing to do so, feel as heavy a responsibility to be part of the anti-MLM movement as I otherwise would. The people MLMs have hurt need voices beyond their own to stand alongside them in their outrage. I’m grateful to resources like this (and all the others out there) which can help us understand just how far reaching these things are, and then damage they do to fellow, hard-working people... all for the sake of a lousy buck. Thanks to Kiki Chanel and all others who are helping ALL people get on board against this predatory business model and be part of the solution. I really do think it’s a humanitarian issue.
Victoria Gilmore holy shit!!! I gotta look into this. That's INSANE. I don't like them just bc they claim basically every other essential oil is "fake" so you feel like you HAVE to buy theirs which is BS.

Sara Secondcost yes...my friend spent 5000 to buy into LLR and lost it all
Yup. I did it and the ONLY reason I ended up making any money was because I got out when they did a month of complete buy back. But I only came out on top by $2500 so totally not worth the effort and stress. It has ended really bad for people sadly :-(

Uhm what kind of nursing give you weekends and holidays off? A clinic? Bc I work holidays and weekends haha
Jamelyn james yes exactly
Check out my closet on poshmark! @ashleemasterson
I'm going to be blunt, but please just hear me out:
99% of the people who buy into Lularoe are women who are buying into a culture. Typically these women -- who are exclusively all moms -- are wanting comfy clothing that are also "stylish"
When you go to these parties, you get a chance to socialize with women your own age, in the midst of all the sporting events, choir concerts, play dates, etc. that you have to take your children to.
Especially when you are guilt tripped into being a seller -- "stay at home, make money."
The only problem, as constantly addressed by MLM critiques, is that starting an MLM "independent" business involves a lot of money you are having to invest to buy the starter pack -- and then there is even more money that is involved to throw the parties and make sure your product is successfully advertised with the last-ditch effort to make even $1,000 of your money back, let alone a substantial profit.
I hate all MLMs, but I hate LuLaRoe and Mary Kay the absolute most.
Diesel Darlin I totally agree!

My mom sold Mary Kay for about a year maybe 2-3 years ago and she still has stock that she wasn’t able to sell and she was working more than she is now at her current job

so many people get sucked in that they “own their own business” when it’s not true. you’re an independent consultant. You can open a hair salon for close to 10 grand!! lol

Please talk about SeneGence aka LipSense

That reaction is straight up scary. I'm so sorry that happened to you.
I didn't know Monat was like that!! Now I'm super intrigued and would love to see a video on this too! I follow two people who push this shit heavily and this is the ONLY thing like this that's ever looked appealing to me so I'm really curious now... def gonna do my research now but I had no idea.
Wow. I actually really like the products that monat has 🤔 that’s odd I wonder how it works for me but not you
I’ve used Monat for about 18 months now and my hair has responded so incredibly well. That sucks you had a reaction like that.
No, you're correct. They pay that money and get whatever llr sends them! They have no say about prints at all ever
That vice documentary was so interesting and heart broken at the same time. It made me sick
Love you Kiki keep it real!!! I got duped into signing up to a forever living mlm as a student nurse and pretty quickly realised it was a scam. By then I’d already paid £300 to sign up! The products were awful, and so expensive I couldn’t sell anything. I would never ever recommend MLM to anyone.
you NEED to join the facebook group "Sounds like MLM but ok"
I LOVE that group.
Gonna join now
I just joined!
I sold lularoe because my sister convinced me to join and it’s the worst decision I ever made in my life in a lot of ways, but I learned so much and grew from it.. and I didn’t lose any money, so at least it wasn’t detrimental.. just a waste of time!
Brittany Post same here!
I watched the LuLaRoe documentary on TH-cam a few weeks ago and was shocked about it all!!! It's a shame! Thanks for the vid! 🙂✌️👍
Monica Moser so sad, I am glad that the consignment shop is understanding.
I'm so curious who makes the designs for lularoe and if they get payed for their pattern design???
IDK but it should’ve been who the young living CEO drowned in the hot tub
I had an in-home party one time, and purchased several tops from them. You are right when you say the quality is poor, because the material pilled up on the cotton tops that I had bought, and I washed them inside out and hung them dry, just like I was instructed. And they just don't look good unless I wear a scarf or something with them to cover up the front area where it seems to be pilling. I would never buy another lularoe piece again.
I have some info in regards to the class action lawsuit against Abercrombie & Fitch if you ever decide to talk about the issues with that company from a few years ago, I used to work at Hollister and that company is corrupt
better yet maybe we should collab 😉
Its not the same as an mlm company
Look at ebay for some of the MLM items. I would use paypal though to purchase the items since ebay is always hacked it seems. I like the idea of you trying the quality of the lularoe leggings. That would make a great try on/haul video.
Serena Clarke you can find lula roe at goodwill stores! For less than $5
@@estefanipanduro1813 oh good thinking!!!
@@Willowtree82 good for you! I know lots of people who have been hacked 😔 I just didn't want Kylie to risk anything or anyone else. I'm happy eBay works out for you though! 😊
Holy crap I never knew how expensive it was to start with LulaRoe 😳
ThirtyOne bags or Perfectly Posh would be interesting. Or that expensive skincare stuff.
I like some of the ThirtyOne bags, since I always need totes for work....but they are so overpriced.
Some of the OGs are Avon, MaryKay, and Pampered Chef. No one seems to have an issue with them.
I have issues with avon
They should
Avon does not require a certain $$ buy - in of product. Only buy what your customers tell you they want, nothing more.
Found your channel as I was looking for reviews on Younique and I've been on an anti-MLM binge since 😂😂
Great video!
Every topic you introduced on your channel is well put together well researched etc. you are very smart. I feel like we could have so many great conversations
Edit: also very funny and witty I really enjoy your channel
One time I got invited to coffee with a guy who was living at the apartments I managed and I was like hm want does he even want right. I show up, THIS DUDE STARTS TRYING TO GET ME IN A TRAVEL MLM 😂
You can buy some Lularoe on thredup if you want to! I see it there all the time.
Nancy Suarez-Tipton i was just on thredUP about to buy some out of curiosity 😂
You HAVE to listen to the podcast American Dream - the journalist actually signs up to be in a pyramid scheme and the series follows her and interviews regulators, former reps from all different companies, etc. it is so fascinating!
Also - poshmark definitely has lulularoe leggings it pops up on my feed as a suggested brand all the time lol
Grace Nichols I am fascinated. I listen to so many right now, but I want to add this one. Thanks. I listen to Oh No and Ross and Carrie do this with religions (or things that become like religion to people).
The founder of Young Living KILLED his own baby!! I detest YL!
Victoria Gilmore holy shit!!! I gotta look into this. That's INSANE. I don't like them just bc they claim basically every other essential oil is "fake" so you feel like you HAVE to buy theirs which is BS.
Everything is wrong with YL. The owner is a fraud because he’s given medical advice without having a license. He then fled to another state to do the exact same thing. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is
I saw that documentary. 😬
KriSta Love could you let me know the name of the documentary? YL is taking over in my town
Nikki phillipi on here sells for them 🤢
Please do Monat lovely! I was harassed for months. This one woman still wants me to do it. It drives me crazy. I hope you are feeling good today. Much love to you. Wishing you a wonderful day today filled with love and happiness! 💖💜💛
Please do a review on the entire docuseries of LulaRich on Amazon! I was imagining your commentary the entire time lol
I work at goodwill and we get so many pairs of leggings and shirts from lularoe
I just watched a Documentary on this scam. Its so Heartbreaking .Thank you for posting this Vital Information
My local thrift store put a sign up stating they were no longer accepting lu la roe donations because they were getting so many
This is EXACTLY what I wanted to watch while I pack lol thank goodness I can always count on you for the best content. The mlm schemes are just too much these days.
GIRL. I came across some of their things at Goodwill so I looked em up and WOW. I’m not surprised I found them there.
I don't want whales on my leggings.
I saw somewhere that the designers have to make 20 prints a day to stay employed.
Poshmark is full of LuLa Rue stuff. Crazy overpriced.
Unicorns
I just found your channel because I happened upon one of your other MLM video, and when I saw there's a playlist, I got so happy lol. Ironically, I've been binge watching your videos during my lunch breaks at MY 9-5 job 😁.
