One of the best channels on TH-cam, professional, neutral and technical. We wish you more progress and thank you for bringing us the joy, the knowledge and the compensation in 2024.
Well done, mate! I have a little suggestion: next year, you should divide the cars into segments like Sedan, SUV, etc., and then select a Car of the Year.
Glad you enjoyed it and enjoy the channel mate. Always good to see you here in the comments. Happy New Year, and stay tuned. We'll hopefully get even more this year.
Great video, in my opinion next time, try for the best saloon car, best suv, best mpv. Zeekr 7X and Onvo L60 , 2 of the best suv ( cars ) , not to mention Mona 03 . Keep up the great show. Happy new year.
Great channel. Keep it up. My wish for the car of 2025 is the possibility to directly connect the house and charge and discharge via 1 plug. All components must be present in the car. No difficult charging station at the house. Real V2H.
Car Of The Year 2025 NIO ET9 ! Best Ride Quality : Mind-Blowing Suspension Tech Lowest Cabin Noise Best Stereo System : World Class The New King Of Luxury
I personally don't think ET9 would earn NIO loads of money, at least from the local market, indeed featuring good techs and also very well designed both at the interior and exterior, a very well made EV, but the pricing range is a bit awkward, a bit low for the rich and famous, a bit high for the middle class, that's the main concern.
There are a few of these coming in now and I'm in touch with some of them so I'm hoping to cover those this year too. Let's see how close I can get. I doubt they'll be giving rides out just yet, XPeng, Chery, and GAC included, but I'll give it a try. Glad you like the channel and thanks for being here.
Happy New Year... I like the channel and the Top 3, Top of the Tops are really cool. I don't know if I would do the Li Mega on 1 cause this car is mind blowing i think. But anyway great cars, great List 👍 Thanks
The best "Best Car of the Year" top 3 I have ever seen on any channel - all MPVs ❤, and the three smartest and best looking since forever! Don't know why I havn't before, but that made me push the sunbcribe button. Hoping more videos on gorgeous and smart MPVs will come this new year. Happy New Year!
Haha, glad you're in the MPV camp with me. What a year for MPVs this was! The best since about 1997. Surely more great advances coming for this category in 2025. Thanks so much for subscribing too, great to have you. Happy New Year.
Brilliant video concept and synopsis of critical angles . Highly appreciate this new step and welcoming the 2025 other proposal. Well done indeed and long live to ICA
Excellent video as always! I'm looking forward to March 2025 to finally get the BYD Sealion 7. I was quite surprised to see that you haven't covered it yet! It would be great to see your take on this car.
I've had the chance to drive it at a BYD event but not really a full on road, have the car for a few days, test like I prefer. I'm getting a Fangchengbao Bao 5 next week, what will be a Denza B5 in Australia, so maybe I can try and get a Sealion 7 after that.
Thank you for all the hard work and great videos. No need to have 75 different categories in next year's awards. This was fine. You seem to be everywhere this morning. You are in videos by TH-cam channels "miao xiaojian", and "wealthy mindset".
I'm in a wealthy mindset video? What the hell is that? Do please share more info on that one. Haha. But yes, I was glad to share my knowledge with Miao for her video. She's a talented producer. Glad you enjoyed the video though, and thanks for comments. I'll be sure to keep it trim next year too.
Love this segment so much, in my opinion, there are just so many “greats”, but to have them summarized into your favorites and top picks is wonderful for me to understand which models stood above the “greats”. So glad to have found this channel, enjoyed every single content you did, and thank you so much for presenting us these amazing content (Keep it Up!). I know it’s time consuming but I do appreciate your engagement in the comments. The information and awareness you have shared in the contents and comments, are so valuable and I have learned so much from them. All I just wish is 1. Good luck, and 2. hoping ICA can survive and grow bigger and bigger! PS. If you happened to come by Jakarta and have yet to get a hold on Hyptec HT, I can lend you mine :D
Awesome mate, thank you so much. Really glad to hear you're enjoying the channel and the videos. Would love to visit Jakarta one day, there's still so much of the world yet to see. Great having you around mate. Happy New Year!
Keep the good work and thanks for your videos. Got a prediction for you: in 2025 all chinese cars will have self driving capabilities in highway and urban roads 😊 (at least some level of it, like L2+)
Apparently DJI are going to bring it to cars with just 32TOPS, which would be impressive, so even a BYD Seagull might get it. Glad you enjoy the videos and thanks for being here. Happy New Year.
Thanks mate. Honestly, good luck to me if they let me try a U9. I will beg and beg and beg, I'll tell you that. As for Robo X, that dream is long gone mate. Died with the company about a week ago I suspect, unless somebody picks it up.
@@InsideChinaAuto Oh that's right! It's a Jidu! Aww mang so sad! I was hoping it was something different! Oh well. I still hope you can get your hands on the U9! On a track even would be fantastic! hehe
Just started watching. I'd give it to the Xaomi SU7. Let's see if you agree...... Edit: 26 mins later. You made some great choices. Love the way you keep things moving so we never get bored. Thx for all your hard work over 2024. ICA is the best channel for Chinese car content. Congratulations on a good job well done!
Thanks so much for the lovely comment mate. In an earlier stage of my life I think I'd have said SU7 and honestly it wouldn't have been out of place in the top 3. What it achieved this year as a first ever car, as a driver's car, and in sales, is frankly ridiculous.
Awesome stuff. Thanks for putting this together. I am particularly excited about the ET9 and the Firefly but there are so many beautiful and exciting cars coming out..... insane
Oof, tough one because sometimes it's none at time of recording but rumoured or planned in future, and there are a lot of markets to consider. Where are you coming from so I can take a look? I have tried to mention many markets in recent reviews.
Great video as always. We can only go by what you and other reviewers say, and going by everyone's comments I would have thought the Zeekr 007 would have made the top 3 driver's car. Thank you for your awesome content and all the best in 2025
Im so glad someone is giving MPVs the respect they deserve! You think you want an SUV but you need to step into an X9, recline into a zero gravity seat, fold down that massive 21" OLED screen with atmos surround speakers sound and just not care about how long the trip takes. There are cars that call themselves luxury vehicles. But if you havent been in one of these captain seats yet, you dont know luxury! P.S. I think both the X9 and Mega are such unique and sleek looking vehicles that it does not at all give off soccer mom vibes. Both vehicles would fit in beautifully in Cyberpunk 2077😂
@@InsideChinaAuto thanks for mentioning that as I own the 009! But I completely understand you choosing those other two above it. I chose the 009 for some more shallow reasons, mostly that 0-100 speed of 3.9 seconds and the executive feel of the captains chairs. I was very close to choosing the mega instead and it's still probably overall the better vehicle.
@SMJ-l6r The 009 stepped up a lot with the update mid-year but the MEGA really innovates on the gesture control and the overall shape, though it misses a few open goals such as wireless charging I think it was on the rear seats, might have been something else, but then so does the 009 from memory.
@@InsideChinaAuto yeah 009 6 seat configuration still doesn't have wireless charging. The megas main selling point for me was that it wasn't just the two captains seats that were luxurious. It's third row is better than most other vehicle second rows and front passenger also has an ottoman. That third row also has an incredible view. I don't want to sound like I have too much regret though haha. 009 is still satisfying and I'm having fun driving this thing like a race car. But it's certainly a strange strength to pick for an MPV
@SMJ-l6r The big surprise of the 009 for me was how good it is on a race track. It's a big soft boat on the road but on a race track, especially a wet one, it was brilliant. I drove it in the Zeekr Hot Laps video in the rain and it was so hot, only 10 seconds slower than the Zeekr 001FR around Ningbo race track, though I think they'd dialled the FR back a bit and the traction control was on full blast because it wouldn't let you put power down anywhere.
Thanks for your revelatory videos. As a fellow Brit I never knew there were so many Chinese brands and such diversity. For 2025 I would like to buy a BJ40 SE (the two door one) but I'm confused about the website and how to spec. this car let alone find the "right" export price.
Glad you enjoy them mate. Are you based in the UK or somewhere else? I know somebody at BAIC who could help who does exports, met them at one of the shows I think, so if you let me know where you are i can try to help. You can email me if you like.
@@InsideChinaAuto That is very kind of you thank you and I will. I am UK based. We can import any car here under the "Individual Vehicle Approval" scheme with no tariffs. The import duty is 10% and then VAT on top at 20%. A tricky part is getting the speedo to read MPH - simple if the vehicle has that option or has a mechanical speedo otherwise tricky. As far as BEV cars are concerned, they are a financial disaster here in the UK. No one wants them and the backlash is considerable.
Fabulous choices. the rest of the world is so far behind, with the possible exception of Hyundai and Kia. Great stuff. I always really enjoy your reviews and this is a great list.
I do love what Kia and Hyundai are up to and am looking forward to what Hyundai has planned for China from their design studio here. Glad you enjoy the videos. Happy New Year!
Oh well here in Europe seems to have forgotten how wonderful a really well designed people carrier is, 🤞 I'm sure your winner here would also be a winner here in GB.
You're very welcome. Hope you're enjoying life back in Denmark. Might find myself living there one day. Scandinavia is high on my potential future locations list but there's just so much still to cover here.
An excellent video that really highlights how far ahead the Chinese auto industry is in many ways. 2025 may well be a pivotal year. I’d like to see many more of these cars in Western markets although I think they’ll need to lose the roof mounted LIDAR units to be accepted. Charging speed and range will be hard to argue with though for sure. The only thing I’d do differently with your videos is to condense the auto show walk around ones a bit. You really need to get the popcorn in to complete one as they are. Otherwise I prefer you to Wheelsboy or Elliot Richards. Good job and happy New Year to you👍
Cheers for the comments Mark, and thanks for the feedback. I'll have to consider how to best cover the shows. Might be worth doing the longer one and then a condensed one of the highlights. It still amazes me the views they get for such long videos, I could never have imagined that before the first one. As for the cars in Europe, they'll almost certainly not come with lidar because it's there for ADAS and most won't do it in Europe, at least not the level they do here. I know for example the 7X won't get lidar in Europe, though I'm not sure if NIO still keep theirs or not. Anyway, Happy New Year mate. Have a good one.
great videos and automakers out of china should take notes and innovate more on technology inside the car cause it's boring driving the car, Looking out for 2025 full of surprises and thanks for your service on these amazing reviews
You're absolutely right. Don't get me wrong, I love driving and still see it as a key selling point for any car, but there's so much more that can be done with them. Glad to hear you like the videos though. Plenty more where they came from.
As a Chinese, if let me choose Chinese car of the year, I will definitely give it to BYD Qin L DMI5.0. This car is the absolute contributor of BYD's monthly sales reaching over 0.5 million, and it's also a car that signifying the qualitative change of China's automobile industry, which is destined to be marked in history.
The Qin is a real BYD staple. It's no wonder it's found so many homes because the Chinese are at their core a practical people and it does exactly what most would ask of it.
Great review of the year, I've watched all your vids & they've been very interesting & well presented. How do you pick a car out of all those exciting models in China? The EV market there is the best in the world & hopefully we'll see some of those brands on the roads of Blighty soon. Thanks again for all the great videos.
Really glad to hear you enjoy watching the videos mate. Picking winners is very difficult and in the end it just comes down to personal preference. Some others would have a very good case for being in the top 3 but there's only one winner for me. Hopefully more of these will be over there one day as I'd love to see them on UK roads. Happy New Year!
If you were able to try the Zeekr Mix in your country, man it is cool. Almost went with this but got the 009 because we were trying to buy a 3 row vehicle. Even though this didn't fit the bill it's just amazing and completely unique. There is no second cad like this in the world
@@nickl1177 I live in China and rest many cars at may price points. Any price and particular usage you are looking for? Id say a front zero gravity seat would be cool so an Avatr would fit the bill. Also that new Avatr convertible coming out next year looks awesome. The Zeekr X is also a great little car for two and has zero gravity for the front passenger (rear seat folds up so you get the whole row!). I also argue the Zeekr Mix is not for families with kids only. This is very much an adventurers vehicle. In China people say Mix owners are those with a passion for life. Just being able to take out a living room table, have your doors open in a bit park, sit facing outside and just walk into a little cabin with fresh fruit and a board game in the middle of a meadow or by a lake... I'd take a look at a few reviews and see if you can imagine yourself doing any activities with it.
Some great recommendations here. You're based in Australia I'm guessing so your choices might be a bit different. With an Amarok you're looking at off-road and utility so you'll love the BYD Shark, which you can get. It's not a full EV but it drives like one mostly with twin motors, and it's really very good. Zeekr X as the other guy said is good for urban stuff, but you might also fancy a 7X or the upcoming Zeekr 007 Estate, or an XPeng G6. The 7X will do more of the rugged stuff when it comes and might be around your price point when it gets there. And thanks for subscribing!
Good choice with the Zeekr MIX for the car of 2024. We used to have a Citröen Picasso and it was such a lovely family car. And I used to hope for an electrical version and I guess Zeekr MIX is the best, if not the only, alternative. I wish they will bring it to Europe. Keep the hard work and happy 2025🎉
Love the channel. Especially the no holes barred independent opinions. Have you thought about tours with visits to manufactures and longer drive experiences.
Indeed. I've got a tonne of factory tours I just need to edit, from NIO, BYD, Zeekr, and Chery, and this year I'll be doing some longer trips videos too. Glad you're enjoying the channel.
Man, I've been meaning to do much more with Instagram but life has been on top of me this year. Will definitely do more this year, I promise. I am on there, just not as much as I should be.
Really hope we get the SU7 in Aus sooner than later! Also I reckon it would cool to have a travel log driving around interesting places in a BEV to 1. for you to have a good time 2. show off China 3. dispel the myth that BEVs (infrastructure dependent I suppose) are not practical.
We'll definitely have some stuff like that this year so thanks for the recommendation. And indeed, I hope more get the chance to drive the SU7 because it is a looker and a bit of a ballistic missile.
@@InsideChinaAuto I look forward to it! And please drive something interesting and not some generic "model Y rival" bubble of a SUV that is so prolific everywhere...especially in Australia!
Hi Mark that was a great Roundup for 2024, I see my baby starred in a couple of your awards which it had to of course, it's just the most brilliant car, and of course it is indeed my car of the year, the Xiaomi Su 7, and for you I knew you were going to pick the mix 😂 because it is the perfect car for you and it is a brilliantly innovative car and I'm sure it will come here to Australia. Love that Avatar 06 that's a stunner isn't it,. So you want comments on what we would like to see next year. Welll here goes. Would love to see a few more road trips. Would like to see you do timed 0 to 100km . Would like to see a lot of the charging infrastructure and how fast it charges the vehicle. Would like to see you test the performance versions of the Tesla models. Like to see you shoot all your beautiful videos in 4K cos they just look spectacular on my top of the line Samsung QD OLED TV I just love the eye candy sorry Mark 😅. I would like to see you on Ludacris feed with Tom and Rizz. And I hope to see you in China this year if I can make it for the April EV Show.. Looking forward to a great New year happy New year to you, it's going to be a big one with the upcoming release of the new model y soon too released. All the best Johnny in Melbourne , Stay safe . BTW Have you driven the model 3 performance Highland I would love you opinion on that .
Hi John. Great comment as always and thank you so much for the feedback and ideas. To come back to you on them, I'll definitely be doing a few road trips this year, showing a few great places in China accompanied by some great cars. For the 0-100, let me price up a RaceLogic (I think that's what it's called) that some of the guys use like CarSauce. For the charging, I'm looking to do some content on that too, to really show what kind of infrastructure there is here in China and how easy it is to charge, or not depending on where you are. As for Teslas, and other foreign brands, I'm looking to get some more of those in this year, because I want to truly compare them to what's here in China. For the 4k, I do record everything in 4k except the auto show walkthroughs (would be a prohibitively huge video to upload) but if for whatever reason there's not enough time to get b-roll of the driving, the car makers often don't record their driving footage in 4k so I might have to downgrade. I do like things in 4k myself. Will look to join Riz and Tom on the feed this year sometime if the time matches up, and would be great to see you in Shanghai if you can make it for the show. Happy New Year and have a good one. Great to have you here mate.
Yu7 is so gorgeous, can't wait to see whats new thing xiaomi could bring, i see su7 all the time on xiaohongshu, apparently it is very popular and saw many accidents too , people couldn't really handling the amount of power , anyway I hope neta could survive, tho they should really make better vehicles, they failed on ASEAN safety standards, it too bad..
YU7 looks really cool, as does the SU7, so I'm sure it'll be a top notch car that builds on what they learned from the SU7. As for Neta, times are hard for them right now, but In think they have a sliver of hope if they can maximise their collaboration with CATL and the new Bedrock Chassis. They could yet rebuild themselves and I hope they do.
Hey Ica you amazing I watched you Long time before channel grow up you work hard do the right video to show people the truth and not the lies you real self write what is good or bad and people know about this channel I always shared with others how beautiful the china is and Chinese people lest go to point zeekr mix et9 zeekr x7 BYD leopard 5 xpeng p7+ geely z10 BYD song L and sealion 7 gt best SUV smooth relax travel but my favorite is zeekr mix you show test crash vs up drop 2 tone container heave and mix nothing happen keep holding this weight crash this is most safety mix ever seen so thanks happy New Year wish you best health love be strong and bring more new videos we need you ok.
Haha. If I was younger and without a kid I'd likely be a bit less so, but the MIX for me is the embodiment of our childhood car in 21st century form and I love it.
Mix should have been out of contest due to a private preference of the author 😂 Cannot fathom that Jiyue is out! Those lovely cars are history? No way! They all need to find the way to sell outside of China in greater volume, but not at such a higher prices (where applicable) than they used to.
Haha, this was my awards. Democracy will come next year, but there's a lot of love for the MIX in this comments section. But yes, big shame about Jiyue. I could make the case for a few brands being not worthy but Jiyue wouldn't have been on that list.
They're mostly electric, so yes, they don't just pass them, they eat them for breakfast. They also smash the EuroNCAP crash tests too while you're asking, and you can see that on the EuroNCAP website.
Rationalization of the Chinese market was inevitable. Shame to see Jiyue not make it though....a bit of a mistake for Geely & Bidu not to put more money into them to get them across the gap.
I want to see a big emphasis on reverse charging. If my car can be my power storage for my house, that would be awesome. This would justify the expense of entering the electric car market.
I think this will be on a country-by-country basis. I know Australia just opened this up and Volvo has talked about it, but nobody does it in China. I do at least know that Zeekrs can charge other cars at up to 60kW which is pretty good.
I tried the ADAS in the Xpeng P7+ and G6 as well as the Avatar 7. I am sure you had much more time to compare them but the P7+ definitely could do a U-turn properly in a urban setting in Shenzhen. I felt it was more confident off the highway and in traffic, but maybe that was just my feeling. The Avatar failed to get into a parking easy space (it just stopped), but the P7+ navigated itself into a quite difficult parking space. It may be that Xpeng sales staff are better trained than Avatar's?
Quite possible. It's hard to compare tech because it can vary on city too. XPeng have Guangzhou and Shenzhen nailed because they're from there but in Kunming or Xi'an for example, they just didn't have the same availability as Huawei, so I try to test the extremes if I can, not just give home turf advantage. Equally, they're getting updated all year so if I test one at the start of the year, it might be fairly average but could take leaps before I try it again.
denza is trying to gain momentum for example their model like Z9GT is selling well but they shared factory with models like…BYD HAN, so the production capacity is very limited
The most common Denza I see is the D9 which is another MPV. Id say it's not as nice as the other MPVs listed but it's an EREV and really appeals to the BEV hesitant crowd. I don't know about BYD long term. BYD isn't the best in electric but they are the best in Hybrids. Lots of people are not ready to completely trust an EV yet and that's where BYD excels. This is also true of their mega flagship Yangwang U8 which is the most luxurious car I've ever witnessed in terms of pure details.
They're picking up steadily, but the MPV is the big seller. The N9 SUV might steal some sales from Li Auto and AITO but they're in a very awkward category in China which is the 'above mainstream plus but not quite NIO' territory, a bit like AVATR, so they're more expensive than most but not quite premium enough, still a bit too BYD you might say. BYD's sales are one thing but their issue is they started very cheap and very mainstream, and many wealthy people likely can't shake the idea that Denza is a fancy BYD. I've been to the factory and the Yangwang U8 is literally made on the same line as the Sealion 6, the ultra premium alongside the ultra mainstream. Regardless of how well they can make them, the average Joe isn't getting tours of factories to see the difference.
Geely still owns Volvo and Polestar. Jiyue is joint venture between Geely and Baidu, and is closing mainly bcos of Jiyue's CEO Xia Yiping poor leadership.
Pretty much what the guy below said. Geely are doing fine, they just don't much fancy investing further into a venture that didn't cut it. Maybe with a different CEO things could have been different.
Re 05:30 - I don't think "Rest of the World" customers are that much different from Chinese - we also want the best tech, super fast charging, good prices, etc., it's just we can't get it now :)
True, there's that element, but also western people don't really use their car as an extension of home as much as Chinese in my experience. I mean I'd watch a TV show while eating my Drive Thru maybe but when else would I sit in my car to watch a film in Europe? The outdoorsy types might but not the average person. But you're right, charging choices in the rest of the world generally suck.
Your videos are absolutely top draw. However there is only one thing missing from your car reviews, and that is your 0-60 mph tests and not mentioning the 0-60 mph times! How comes you do not do these 0-60 mph tests ??
Haha, it's a fair point and I know people do love them. I do always mention the 0-60 (or 0-100kph) time but it's a slightly outdated concept in this world where just the chance to drive 60mph gets smaller with every passing day. But others have asked and I will consider it if I can find responsible places to do it, so thank you for the feedback. Glad you're enjoying the videos. Happy New Year.
@InsideChinaAuto No problem at all. It just seems to be a waste just driving sedately throughout the video and not see what the cars are like putting it through it's paces!
@princeD1100 Finding places to drive spiritedly in China isn't so easy, and especially not where you can get good drone shots. I'm looking at some potential solutions to that this year though. Let's see if I can get them to work.
When yu launch an Audi brand only for that one country which will be more advanced, better looking car in every way and we still getting the four rings shows yu which country actually lives in year 2055 - honestly the rest of us are playing catch up at this point -
I fell in love with this country the day I arrived having known nothing about it before then. I've since gained family here, friends, enjoyed many great years, and believe it's important to share an unbiased view on a subject I have a lot of experience in because we all know China won't always get that same fair shake abroad. There are amazing stories to be told here, and I just want to help tell them.
Yes, Google does pay me ad revenue. Believe it or not, this is one of the only auto awards you'll find that isn't actually paid for by the brands. Almost every major publication that runs car awards will let you buy awards, and you even have to write your own submission. I know this because I've written those submissions. These are based on what I've driven myself and what I liked most. Also, do you think if they were paying me I'd be presenting the awards from the top of a hill I had to battle bushes and non-human friendly inclines to get up?
Honestly I'm with you, I much prefer to drive myself, but this era is very much growing out of China now so it has to be regarded here, and there's one clear winner right now but let's see if others can shake it up. I'll still take the Xiaomi any day of the week and never touch the autonomous button except on a boring motorway maybe.
Not sure what they've contributed to cars in China this year, but an updated Model 3 barely even closed the gap to many of the local brands, regardless of how well their sales are.
"most cars in China are not that driver centric" No they prefer instead to keep your family alive. Unlike the horrific crashes and safety issue SU7 seems to be increasingly having.
As I said, I think it's too powerful for the average person, especially considering the crashes some people manage here with much slower cars, but a car doesn't need to be powerful and ludicrously fast to be driver-centric, it just needs to have some feel. The Jiyue 07 did it well, but a BMW 3-series or Porsche Cayman or Alpine A110 will show exactly how to match balance with power without being crazy.
Will have some interesting stuff from them this year, including ET9, updated ET5, and firefly, plus an Onvo if they'll finally sort me one. I've been asking for ages.
One of the best channels on TH-cam, professional, neutral and technical. We wish you more progress and thank you for bringing us the joy, the knowledge and the compensation in 2024.
Thanks so much mate, really appreciate that comment. I do my best, and will strive to do even more this year.
Second this!
Love your channel. Your coverage of the auto shows are hand down the best out there.
Thanks so much Andrew. Really appreciate that. And Happy New Year.
Well done, mate! I have a little suggestion: next year, you should divide the cars into segments like Sedan, SUV, etc., and then select a Car of the Year.
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll take that on board.
Thanks for the great videos this year, and looking forward to seeing what you will bring for 2025! I wish you and your family a very happy new year.
Cheers Dave. Happy New Year to you too, and I wish you and your loved ones a great 2025.
good job man, really and your plans for 2025 look perfect! Happy New Year and have fun with new cars!
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Feedback has gone into my little notes for next year, so will aim to accommodate it.
ZEEKR MIX is wonderful beyond wonderful.
Couldn't agree more.
Great channel. Keep it up. My wish for the car of 2025 is the possibility to directly connect the house and charge and discharge via 1 plug. All components must be present in the car. No difficult charging station at the house. Real V2H.
Sounds like bliss mate. Hope it becomes a reality.

Excellent professional coverage, all the best over 2025
Glad you enjoyed and thank you for your comment. Happy New Year!
The best review of 2024 on youtube. Really enjoyed watching. Great picks and right one to win 2024 best car.
So glad you enjoyed it. I had fun looking back!
Really great channel. Well done mate.
I would love to know more about Chinese eVTOLs, what’s the best channel?
I think supercar blondie made a video about it, And Gilevich Sergey also made one..
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Honestly a bunch of cars could have taken top spot and it's truly a personal list, so MIX takes it for me.
AWESOME REVIEWS OF MOTHERLAND, CHINA EVs VEHICLES!🙏🙏🙏👍🏼❗️🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳
Glad you enjoyed it.
Happy new year to you and your family.
Thank you! Happy New Year to you and yours too.
Was surprised the Zeekr 009 didn''t get a mention
@hoylee5801 it's a very competitive space and the 009 only got an update this year, albeit a very good one.
Brilliant video concept and synopsis of critical angles . Highly appreciate this new step and welcoming the 2025 other proposal. Well done indeed and long live to ICA
Thank you very much, and thank you for your commitment to the channel. It's much appreciated. Happy New Year!
I just saw that i-car last night here in Jakarta Indonesia. Looks bigger in real life than in video 😂
It certainly does. They look like toy cars on video but they're quite a bit bigger in real life.
Thanks for all your reviews in 2024.
You're very welcome. Thank you for watching them!
Very entertaining!
Thanks and Happy New Year. 👍🏻
You're very welcome and thank you for the comment. Happy New Year to you too.
Keep up the good work mate. Fantastic stuff as always
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Thank you for watching.
Happy New Year!! Best wishes 👌🇬🇷
Happy New Year to you too. Thanks for watching.
Jiyue cars looked great
They did. What a shame.
Love your videos
Thanks so much. Appreciate the comment. Happy New Year.
Happy new year
Happy New Year to you too mate.
❤❤Great show to wrap up the year‼️
Glad you enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
Happy new year mate! Cant wait for your YangWang U9 (and U7 and Denza z9) and Robo X reviews!
The zeekr mix is really awesome. This video has been a very good one!
Glad you've enjoyed it, and you're right, it is.
Awesome stuff. Thanks for putting this together. I am particularly excited about the ET9 and the Firefly but there are so many beautiful and exciting cars coming out..... insane
Glad you enjoyed it. I'm also excited to try both, though not sure how much I'll like the firefly from the front. I'm softening on it with time.
2025 suggestion: Please provide international market availability info in your reviews, thanks!
Oof, tough one because sometimes it's none at time of recording but rumoured or planned in future, and there are a lot of markets to consider. Where are you coming from so I can take a look? I have tried to mention many markets in recent reviews.
The car that i am most looking forward to in 2025 is Maextro S800..
Ooh, good shout. Very curious how that will be, and if we can get behind the wheel of one.
@InsideChinaAuto I hope u can get u4 hands on one..
Great video as always.
We can only go by what you and other reviewers say, and going by everyone's comments I would have thought the Zeekr 007 would have made the top 3 driver's car.
Thank you for your awesome content and all the best in 2025
Glad you enjoyed it. Maybe if I'd tried the Kung-fu edition I'd have put the 007 up there. It didn't leave a lasting impression on me but it was good.
They're both brilliant cars in their own right and moved the game on. Zeekr 009 is excellent too in that regard.
Excellent video
Why thank you very much.
Looking forward to Zeekr coming to the uk. Watch out European luxury car market.
Oh I'm sure it will be. I just hope it gets there. Little wide for UK roads possibly but it should work.
Great reviews. Thanks. I live in Australia. How does one order a Xioami Su7? Thanks
Thanks again for your good work, I used` to live in Shanghai ❤❤❤and are back in Denmark
Subscribed! Married, no kids, semi-retired and current owner of Amarok. What to buy for below AUD60k. SU7?
If you were able to try the Zeekr Mix in your country, man it is cool. Almost went with this but got the 009 because we were trying to buy a 3 row vehicle. Even though this didn't fit the bill it's just amazing and completely unique. There is no second cad like this in the world
@@SMJ-l6r tks, the Mix looks awesome but like I say, its just me and mrs, no kids. Maybe Radar?
@@SMJ-l6r thanks
Thanks. Couldn't agree more. We need more MIX in our collective lives. Happy New Year
Love the channel.
Please start posting images, thoughts and content to IG this year! I'd love to see you guys over there
Man, I've been meaning to do much more with Instagram but life has been on top of me this year.
Really good one, liked it.
Basically, it was just the Chinese, the best of category cars.
Glad you enjoyed it. That's basically the premise of the channel, but I won't rule out trying some non-Chinese stuff this year if the chance arises.
Denza Z9 GT & NIO ET9 👍🏻
Hoping to get a chance to drive both this year.
AVATR is Dope ❤🔥
They sure are.
Thank you very much. I'm honoured.
Zeekr Mix will sell VERY well around the world......
I believe so too.
With your choices it shows you are a practical person. And me too.
Haha. If I was younger and without a kid I'd likely be a bit less so, but the MIX for me is the embodiment of our childhood car in 21st century form and I love it.
No Model 3 Preformance in the top 3 for ”Top Drivers Car”? Thought it would be up there!
Haven't had chance to drive that and it's not Chinese anyway. Might try to get one this year though as I expand to non-Chinese cars.
Mix should have been out of contest due to a private preference of the author 😂
Cannot fathom that Jiyue is out!
I could make the case for a few brands being not worthy but Jiyue wouldn't have been on that list.
if similar awards are handed out in USA, it will be a pretty short video. Maybe 2 mins will be good enough?
Haha, quite possible.
Car of the year 2024 for me is the Avatar 12❤
Stunner. I still can't help but stare when I see one.
Te pregunto, alguno tus juguetes chinos pasan las normas Euro 6 o ASTM DE USA...
They're mostly electric, so yes, they don't just pass them, they eat them for breakfast. They also smash the EuroNCAP crash tests too while you're asking, and you can see that on the EuroNCAP website.
W23 looks like a well done mixture of Mercedes G, Landrover and Jeep 😅
It does indeed. It's bloody brilliant.
@InsideChinaAuto and the first time I see a Chinese "copy" well done. Even better than the original ones...
Rationalization of the Chinese market was inevitable. Shame to see Jiyue not make it though....a bit of a mistake for Geely & Bidu not to put more money into them to get them across the gap.
Every business has to decide if the money going in is worth it. Maybe a change of CEO would have been better.
How much do they cost?
Zeekr MIX?
Top stuff, young man, keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoy what I do Donald. Happy New Year.
💯✅
Cheers!
❤
Glad you enjoyed it.
BYD sales exode, however, haven't heard much about the Denza brand going forward.
denza is trying to gain momentum for example their model like Z9GT is selling well but they shared factory with models like…BYD HAN, so the production capacity is very limited
GEELY didn’t they make Volvo and Polestar ? What’s happened to them ?
Geely still owns Volvo and Polestar. Jiyue is joint venture between Geely and Baidu, and is closing mainly bcos of Jiyue's CEO Xia Yiping poor leadership.
Pretty much what the guy below said. Geely are doing fine, they just don't much fancy investing further into a venture that didn't cut it. Maybe with a different CEO things could have been different.
Well done r kid
Haha, thanks very much.
I need a family so I can buy an MPV!
Zeeker X7 to Australia
Should be next year. Will be a big hit I think.
❤😂🎉❤😂🎉
Thank you very much.
Extremely well balanced. But give me a purple Xiaomi Su7 or give me death!
Haha, I'll take mine in Lava Orange please.
When yu launch an Audi brand only for that one country which will be more advanced, better looking car in every way and we still getting the four rings shows yu which country actually lives in year 2055 - honestly the rest of us are playing catch up at this point -
That's pretty much the risk they're taking.
If chinese vehicles were available in the US , those cool minivans would make it fashionable again.
100%. The levels of luxury and family-friendly kit are just off the chart.
谢谢你把中国车介绍给全世界,让世界更好地了解中国,如果毛泽东在世,他会说“你是中国人民的老朋友”😊
I fell in love with this country the day I arrived having known nothing about it before then. I've since gained family here, friends, enjoyed many great years, and believe it's important to share an unbiased view on a subject I have a lot of experience in because we all know China won't always get that same fair shake abroad. There are amazing stories to be told here, and I just want to help tell them.
Shame no hybrid win or at least have their own categories .
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll put that in for next year.
Sorry but with all those EVs, they all look the same. Same light signature for all of them. Thought was looking a ONE brand commercial. But cool video
Haha. I challenge you to compare a NIO light signature to an AVATR and a Xiaomi and a BYD Seagull. But glad you enjoyed it anyway.
Paid advertising
Yes, Google does pay me ad revenue. Believe it or not, this is one of the only auto awards you'll find that isn't actually paid for by the brands. Almost every major publication that runs car awards will let you buy awards, and you even have to write your own submission. I know this because I've written those submissions. These are based on what I've driven myself and what I liked most. Also, do you think if they were paying me I'd be presenting the awards from the top of a hill I had to battle bushes and non-human friendly inclines to get up?
Sorry, but personally I'm not interested in fully autonomous driving. It's only my opinion.
My personally I love about a car I’m very interested. Just like people love the pets or animals lover same things
Not a TESLA then 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not sure what they've contributed to cars in China this year, but an updated Model 3 barely even closed the gap to many of the local brands, regardless of how well their sales are.
@ exactly or anywhere else , I was being sarcastic 😉 HAPPY NEW YEAR
"most cars in China are not that driver centric" No they prefer instead to keep your family alive.
Nio.
Will have some interesting stuff from them this year, including ET9, updated ET5, and firefly, plus an Onvo if they'll finally sort me one. I've been asking for ages.
Sea-Gull... not Seegle.
Not BYD Seagal?
@@InsideChinaAuto BYD Seagull in Australia and Britain. To go with the Dolphin, Seal, Sealion etc?
@stephenodonohue9876 I sure hope so. I believe 2025 will be the year. I think they're just about keeping up with demand for that as it is.
