i liked this video after the first sentence you said! AWESOME! I just picked up my first KTM 300 xc after realizing my DRZ400s was wayyyy to heavy and underpowered for enduro single trail riding. Really enjoy your channel.
I raced MX my whole life ... now that I'm 37 and have had back surgery ect Enduro is the way to go man ! Ride for life & nice video ! I pick up my 2015 300 Wed night can't wait ! Miss the 2 stroke ! F the 4
Just picked up a 2014 250 XC-W with 14 hours on it for a great deal. Thanks for the inspiration! 1st mod is gonna be a Lectron carb. I hate jetting, lol.
HA. I used to listen to Boston when I was a kid riding my dirt bike around my aunts property! Years later I'm an adult now and really wanting to get some motorcycles. I like learning about all the mods you can do! btw I'm getting the 2015 300 xc-w
I like the yellow one at pretty close to flush, this seems to work well on single track all the way to desert racing. I ran Tubliss but now run nitro mousses, zero flats - ever.
Looking at buying a KTM250XCW and will certainly be doing the aftermarket upgrades like I did on my 2019 KTM500EXCF which I now have 7000 miles /195 hours on. Two upgrades you might have added are the TUSK THERMOMETER RADIATOR CAP TO KEEP YOU AWARE OF ENGINE TEMP AND OF COURSE AN ELECTRIC FAN AND DONT FORGET THAT BUMPSTART CAPACITOR , ENDURO MIRROR , ANTIGRAVITY LITHIUM BATTERY FROM ROCKY , KICK STARTER ? , TUGGER STRAPS AND FINALLY, DIRT BIKE GRAFICS SIGNED BY GRAHAM JARVIS 👏 , LMAO
Not sure if you've already done a video on this but I'd like to see a video about what look at when inspecting a used bike that your thinking about buying. Not sure if there's an audience for that but I think I'd be a quick vid to make. -thanks
Great video. I love all of you videos . You inspire me to ride dirt bikes and you really make want to get myself a dirt bike. Can you please make a video of exactly how to jet your bike ( KTM 300 xc - w )
Just for fun, one day take all the extra alloy parts off (sump guard, radiator braces, barkbusters etc) and see how much lighter and better they handle. These days I just run a plastic sump guard, and replace stuff as I bend it - pretty much like your expansion chamber policy (replace when it gets bent policy).
At 8:00 when you're discussing your stabilizer / handguards can you tell me what parts you ordered from BRP? They told me the Cycra CRM would not work with the set up, but yours clearly do. Did you just go with the BRP sub mount BRP RUBBER MTD SUB Mount DS-SUB Kit 00-15 KTM 125-530 w/OEM TC, and BRP Hand Guard Mounts BMI-9254? Just to clarify I have the KTM power parts Cycra Center Reach Mount but really like your set up better. Looks clean and I'm planning on adding a stabilizer so wanted to ask when I saw your set up. Thanks for the help man! Great videos by the way!
Justin Wilkins You need to look up the BRP Hand Guard Mounts BMI-9254. That's what I used to make it all work. They are about $70. brpmoto.com/ktm/product/1507-brp-hand-guard-mounts-bmi-9254.html
cool video, thanks for that!! in there, your saying the red spring is a lighter spring which makes the valve open up later in the rev range.. how does that work?n i thought it would be a heavier spring to make it open later?
Rocking But Steady Thats what I thought, but you said the the green is a heavier spring and the red is a lighter spring..? I just want to confirm if you made a mistake when saying it or have I got my understanding wrong...
FluffMuncher the green is a heavier spring in the sense that it is stiffer so the power valve will open slower then the red spring which is lighter and "less stiff" so the red spring allows the power valve to open up faster.
Im 45 and race and ride for fun and fitness. My power and energy level drops off when I don't ride. There are 75 year olds participating in enduros here in Florida. I have a 2014 KTM 2 stroke.
I want a late model KTM 300 so bad! it will be a nice upgrade from my 1982 cr480 :). plus, it would be easy to get plated in Utah, so i could ride it to the trails
great vid, thanks for putting this together, super helpful for planning out what is necessary at time of purchase. I think I will be selling my kx250f and going back to 2 stroke and switching to ktm 250xc-w. Love the suggestion on going tubeless. I know you ride a 300, but have you had any experience on the 250? I love high revving responsive engines. Any insight between the 250 and 300 would be much appreciated.
Derek, I've had a fair amount of experience with the KTM 250s. My most frequent riding buddy has had a 250 for the past couple of bikes, and I have been able to ride them a bunch. It's a FANTASTIC bike. It's got a really light and nimble feel to it. You tend to need to ride it a bit more "on the pipe" than you do with the 300, but it's not lacking for power or speed. It's not slower than the 300 either. The 300 has more low end power, but the 250 revs a bit quicker. Both the 250 and the 300 are the kings of mountain single track riding if you ask me. The 250 puts out essentially the same overall horsepower, but it comes higher in the rev range. From what you described above, the 250 xc-w is just the ticket for you! I love the Tubliss system even more now that it kept a ride alive for me on Saturday. Got a puncture from a stick through the side of my tire, stuck a plug in the tire, pumped it back up and finished the ride. They are awesome. Well worth it. I think tire changes are even easier with the Tubliss once you have it installed. Just put a new front and rear on yesterday and it was much easier than fighting tubes.
Rocking But Steady just watched your long term review, actually answered some questions on the 250. thanks again for the info and the vids, definitely see a trip to the dealership in my near future.
No I have not sorry. But did have an 03ktm 300 exe and a 08 KTM 450 xcw loved them both sold both and waiting to take an 15 KTM 300 xcw home but 2 parts needed ( heaver rear spring an orange shark fin ). Live in Spokane Wa. The dealer will set sag for me then I'll take it home. Thanks for you time, good job!
Hey Dennis, just watched this vid, very helpful. I ride a 09 300 xcw-e, so does my buddy, his son is on a 200, my son is on a 250. Were in Spokane as well.Ride the ORV park a lot, also xmas hills in season. I'm at redline160@yahoo.com. Drop a line when you can. Mention KTM 300. Later.Brad.
Russ Wiebe I'll see what I can do. Right at the moment, I don't have a true apples to apples comparison since I don't have access to a late model 250 XC-W. My buddy is riding a late model 250 XC, so it's very close to an XC-W. I've ridden that one a decent amount. One thing that is apparent is that you have to ride the 250 "on the pipe" a bit more, but there is less difference than you might think. The 250 and the 300 put out the same amount of power, but the power comes in different places.
When able, I like to get a new bike every 2 years. That keeps things fresh for me. There was NOTHING wrong with my 2012 and if I'm honest about things, I feel like the 2012 motor hit a little harder. That might just be my imagination, but I spent a bunch of time tinkering before I got my 2014 running like the 2012. One of my buddies says this is because KTM changed the head profile just a bit to make the power more manageable, but I don't know for sure if that is the case.
Toby Thie I'll see what I can do.
I have one correction from your video that might might be worth mentioning to your viewers. The power valve begins to open at the same rpm 5850 no matter which spring you use. The different springs affect the rate at which the power valve opens fully. e.g. The green spring doesn't reach fully open until a much higher rpm. The red spring reaches fully open at a much lower rpm. This is only due to the rate at which the power valve opens but always beginning at 5850 rpm
John Miller Minor detail, but still a valid one. All I know is that they offer vastly different power curves and I like the red one best of the bunch. I actually think it makes the power more predictable overall. Yellow is okay, while the green is terrible (from my point of view).
I've changed a few of these pipes and silencers now on 3 different KTM 2 strokes. I've got another riding buddy that has done it to 4-5 more. In our experience, the KTM pipes are very good and you don't get much real noticeable extra power from going to the FMF or the Pro Circuit Pipes (although they look better). The stock silencers, on the other hand, are NOT as good as the FMF silencers. I like the power you get from the Pro Circuit silencer, but it's long and ugly. I'm talking about the Forest Service approved model. I almost think that I like the combination of the Pro Circuit Platinum 2 Pipe with the FMF Turbine Core 2 Silencer which is also Forrest Service approved, but looks much sharper. From my experience, you get better gains by installing the silencer on these bikes. I recommend doing both if you can, but if money is tight, do the silencer first. Keep in mind that the KTMs really do come ready to race performance wise. A new pipe is just cool to have. I have to be honest, the best thing you can do for performance it to get your bike jetted correctly for your altitude/temperature. You need to have the right jets and needle in the carb. That will make considerably more of a difference than any pipe/silencer you'll install.
Rocking But Steady Ok. Thanks for the info. If you check out my channel you can kinda see what we mostly ride. Im still on the WR btw. Saving for the 15 ktm
All the riding you do out in Utah looks fun for a rider that has bike control and some easier trails for intermediate riders. But you need to come out to the high deserts of Southern California where the have all the Hare & hound, Worcs and District 37 races. I've been riding and racing out there since I was a Lil kid there are so many trail and different types of terrain for any level of rider. The "King of the Hammers" race is coming up soon and it's one of the hardest races I've ever done and I have been race desert for over 19 years .. come out here sometime you mite really enjoy it!!
+mrfurious93 I find that they just end up making the pipe bend in a different place. All the energy has to be displaced somewhere. That, and they are really expensive.
Been watching your channel and bought some socks from you, do you still stand behind all these or has the last 5 years changed what mods you think we should do?
+Bradson Vogel The TuBliss protects the rim much better than if you only runs tubes. It's still possible to bend the rim while running TuBliss, but that same "hit" would have destroyed your rim if you were just running tubes.
Question: I'm 6'2", 35 inch inseam and relatively long arms. I've got a 15' KTM 500 exc and I'm running an under the bar fastway steering stabilizer and flexx handlebars (the standard height model). I added 30mm tusk risers to bring things up a bit and it's super comfy when standing/attack position (legs slightly bent, arms bent at elbows etc) Do you find it common for guys my height to lift the bars up like that? And how would I know if it's too tall when I'm standing on the pegs? I ride single track, rocky trails, fire roads and wide open desert type stuff... pretty much everything off road. Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.
Kyle, I found a 2011 KTM 300 XCW for sale for $4,800. It has been very well maintained it seems. I am hesitant to buy a 10 year old dirt bike. Do you have any suggestions?
+Jason Maxwell I actually don't use one anymore. If I was racing in the desert, with very high speeds, then it would be worth it. Since so much of my riding is technical single-track stuff, I don't think it's needed and make the front end feel heavier.
If you're bike is jetted properly to begin with, then you won't need to change jets afterward. The S3 head increases compression, which in turn, increases power. I like it, although the bike tends to stall slightly easier at low RPM's than with the stock head due to the the higher compression. I really only noticed it the first time out, then I made sure to adapt to compensate, like anything else in life. If you are looking for a little harder hit on a '14 or '15, it's a good option. Not a must, but it's pretty cool to have. Looks nice too. I don't think my '12 needed this, but the '14 did.
hi ive got a 2015 300 exc , 3 hrs only ,, but jetting is off, in traffic slight throttle its splutters bad , but it rips when i open it up , is there any way of cleaning this up, ? thanks mark good vids by the way very helpfull
mark topliss You've got the wrong jets and needles in the carb. $100 says it's jetted too rich for your altitude. Could also be an air screw problem. You'll have to tinker a bit to lean out the carb. Get a leaner needle and a leaner needle position with the clip. We have a couple of videos on this.
Building my son an 01' Cr 125 to match my 01' 250 His will be getting one and for 60 bucks it seems like a no brainer. I like the aggressive tread and wide spread knobs , hopefully it will perform well in this Georgia red clay :)
djm93 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is an incredible resource for parts and oil. They ship fast and have good service. I've also found oil and such on Amazon. Between those two places, you should never want for parts!
hi there have you had any shifting problems, my 15 300 exc six days with 13 hrs (road use only) wont change down to 2nd and 1 st. If you have how did you fix it please.
Phen0mable About a thousand dollars :) No seriously, the six days model has a bunch of goodies on it from the factory like a pipe guard, and skid plate, and some other things to help guard it from getting beat up. They are great, but pretty expensive. I'd rather save the money and put my own goodies on the bike. They do look cool though.
Phen0mable Yes, you can save some money that way. The Six Days is a great bike, but it's expensive. Not sure you get all you pay for when you go that route. It might be cheaper if you went with all the KTM powerparts when building up your bike, but I'm saying you don't need to use KTM powerparts all the time. You can save money with other accessories from different aftermarket companies. If you have your heart set on a six days, don't let me rain on your party. Just get one, they are cool bikes :)
Dirt Bike Channel I don't think I'll go for new bike. I'm only chicken and despite the fact that I'm 33 I only started riding. Friend of mine had 125 KTM (smoker) and infected me with riding in woods :-) I definitely wanna go for exc 300 (smoker) but I don't think I can afford a new bike. It would be a bit daft (IMO) if I go for new I think. I would cause too much damage to it so I better go for 2nd hand, learn how to ride it properly and then go for new. I like six days very much.
Michael Palmer I'm not a huge fan of it. I'm more of a purist when it comes to that sort of thing. I don't want to spend 1K on an upgrade that really only makes me lazy and makes me forget how to properly use the clutch for power control. I don't want to become dependent on it.
+dawnof666 No, keeping it stock is a good starting point, but it's not better. Having hundreds of hours on these bikes now, I can say that with authority.
My 08 ktm 300, I was adjusting the power valve because the power is really strong but very aggressive. I put the heaviest spring in, but when I turn the adjuster in the power hits instantly as soon as I give it gas. And when I have it all the way out, the power is more on the higher rpm. I don't understand why this is? Anybody have any idea?
soft spinrg = aggressive, Hard spring = tamer. The exhaust valve will mostly affect the middle of the rpm range. If you use the softest spring, tha valve is completeley open att around 5000 rpm. If you switch to the hardest spring, it will not open completely open until 8000 rpm. It will not affect performance over 8000rpm. When adjusting whith the bronze screw you are making very small adjustments, probably hard to notice. gl hf
The Scotts product he mentions is an excellent product but he makes a common mistake in calling it a steering dampener. It is a damper, not a dampener. The process of damping describes inducing friction to control movement, and the device which does this is a damper. The process of dampening describes making something wet, or damp. Your garden hose is an example of a dampener. It is a common mistake that he makes because we are not used to hearing and saying damping and damper. It is so common for people to use the wrong word that Google has adjusted for this and points you toward dampers even when people search the term dampener.
The same applies to suspension. It is compression and rebound damping that you adjust, usually with a screwdriver, to fine tune your fork and shock. If you want to adjust dampening use a garden hose, wet sponge, ride through water, etc. 😉
Dirt Bike Channel i fitted a jd jetting kit to my 2015 exc 300 as I could not get the jetting correct here in the uk with temp around 4 degrees above freezing. They supplied 35 pilot 165 main with a modified needle.I have had 4 300 2 strokes and this now runs so smooth from bottom to flat open. i imported the kit from the us.
Arak Seepoom Depends on where/when you buy. They are about $1000-$500 cheaper than the 4 strokes generally. Plan on about $8000 - $8600 give or take, plus tax and fees when buying new. I bought my last two 300s for for $8000 plus tax.
Dirt Bike Channel wow, that price is most of a used car. not that you can drive a used car over rocks and logs. it would be fun to have one though. there is a blue book for motorcycles too isn't there?
Nice Video Rocking But Steady gotta love the KTM300. just found your channel & subscribed, you should check out some of our videos I think you might like them all the way from Australia. Keep up the 300 videos!
lord myron It's infinitely easier and faster, just put a plug in it and air it back up. Just a couple of minutes instead of many. Additionally, you can still ride on it when it's flat since you have a 360* rim lock. The Tubliss prevents damage to the rim as well. I've bashed through the rocks on my XR650R with Tubliss and flat tires with no dents to the rims. Best mod ever.
+Dirt Bike Channel I agree! No need to carry tire irons or a heavy tube. AND you don't have to take off your wheel... super fast and simple and less things to carry. Been running Tubliss since i got my 15' 500 exc 6 months ago. 9 psi in the front, 4-6psi in the back depending on conditions.
i liked this video after the first sentence you said! AWESOME! I just picked up my first KTM 300 xc after realizing my DRZ400s was wayyyy to heavy and underpowered for enduro single trail riding. Really enjoy your channel.
Exactly and so I'm finding out the 500 exc f is too . So off to THE KTM DEALER , MY NANE IS ON A CALLING LIST !

wes lawrence Yeah, I'm going to get a 300 XC for my next "go to" bike. I love the 300 2 stroke power and the XC forks are really nice!
Browsing KTM vids. Came to this one and was sold on the intro by the guy calling me a wuss. :-) Excellent!

I really appreciate these videos. As a new bike owner this is great!!!
Wrangler Star, I cant escape you, we have soo many common interest.

fz07.org Jetting is a snap when you get it down. I only have to change jets a couple of times per year.
I think you've done a great job on introducing a good set up for extreme riding! Keep the videos coming! Thank you!
Thanks Tim!
Love this side of your personality!
Tomorrow I'll get my "new" bike... KTM 300 EXC-14 thanks to you :-) I'm so curious about the 2 stroke. Thanks again for good video! It helps a lot!
+Jimmie Thuresson Glad to know that I helped you out!
Nice video! Two strokes rock. I have a '13 'Berg TE300 and love that thing to bits :)

cool video, thanks for that!! in there, your saying the red spring is a lighter spring which makes the valve open up later in the rev range.. how does that work?n i thought it would be a heavier spring to make it open later?
me = troy dawson from your other video
FluffMuncher Lighter springs means the power valve can open sooner. That translates to more power lower in the RPM range.

You have it correct with that last comment.
Hyde guards are a skid plate that also goes over the pipe

Keep saving your pennies.... they are worth it :)
I also added heated grips to my 300 & a catch can.
My 300 only gets hot enough to boil a couple of times per year, so I'm not that worried about it.

I was a little surprised there was no mention of clutch. Seems to be a popular upgrade. Especially Rekluse Auto clutch
I just removed mine to make it auto
In 2019 still useful video. Thank you

that bike is so sick
Great video! I always learn a lot when you make a video. Why did you get rid of your 2012 for the 2014?

Nice vid. I want one of these for ice.
+Jimo368 Hopefully you also want one for the dirt :)
then you have your 2 stroke without a power valve
nice vid man! perfect mods.
+millerpb Thanks for your support.
Old? you will never be too old to ride Enduro. I start riding enduro at age 25, now i am 27. :)
Im only 14 and i ride enduro
Henke Eriksson yeah but he looks closer to 50 than 40
lol
Agree with russ. Would be Nice to see those two. They say the 250 feels lighter and has a bit more hit.
Toby Thie I'll see what I can do.
Enjoyed your video. Be blessed
Nice riding man
I have one correction from your video that might might be worth mentioning to your viewers.
You’re funny must live in Salt Lake you sound exactly like my brother he must be fireman 🚒 I love my brother and like you’re video
Why do you recommend to change the silencer before the pipe? Doesn't the pipe decide where it makes the power? Or how it makes the power I should say.
Aubrey Sweatt sadly the 2ts seem like they'll be banned in California.
I'm surprised you don't have a pipe guard. Is there any reason why?
+mrfurious93 I find that they just end up making the pipe bend in a different place. All the energy has to be displaced somewhere. That, and they are really expensive.
Very cool !
Thanks for all !
With the tubeless tyre can effectively run a flatter tyre?
Been watching your channel and bought some socks from you, do you still stand behind all these or has the last 5 years changed what mods you think we should do?
Can you do a video on replacing the aux spring ?
+Benji hentzen It's on my list of upcoming topics to cover.
I love the mod video! My only concern with the tubliss system is bending the rim on a severe impact. Have you bent any rims with Tubliss?
+Bradson Vogel The TuBliss protects the rim much better than if you only runs tubes. It's still possible to bend the rim while running TuBliss, but that same "hit" would have destroyed your rim if you were just running tubes.
there's also a kit you can get to make them street legal. all you need to do then is get it registered.
+Dr. Zaius Yeah, and I don't advocate street legal 2 strokes. If you are going to street legal a bike, I think it should be a 4 stroke.
Also have you tried the Quad-Flow Torque Wing for KTM or have thought about it?
I've seen it, but haven't tried it. Do you have experience with it?
Make a video of jetting
Super helpful
hey, i'm considering buying one of these bikes and i was just wondering what size your fuel tank is and how many hours you can ride for with it?
Clayton Roberts What bike you interested in? The gas tank is 2.6, it's range depends on how you ride
i am trying to find set up for a double amputee. issue being shifting and starting.
Try the Q stealth silencer on ur yz
how do you like that Scott steering stabilizer
+Jason Maxwell I actually don't use one anymore. If I was racing in the desert, with very high speeds, then it would be worth it. Since so much of my riding is technical single-track stuff, I don't think it's needed and make the front end feel heavier.
The s3 head from slaeven how did that help and is there any jetting involved ?
If you're bike is jetted properly to begin with, then you won't need to change jets afterward. The S3 head increases compression, which in turn, increases power. I like it, although the bike tends to stall slightly easier at low RPM's than with the stock head due to the the higher compression. I really only noticed it the first time out, then I made sure to adapt to compensate, like anything else in life. If you are looking for a little harder hit on a '14 or '15, it's a good option. Not a must, but it's pretty cool to have. Looks nice too. I don't think my '12 needed this, but the '14 did.
hello i have 1 bike ktm 300 exc-e 300 2008 carb i need help what jet and neddle i need in m y bike... i start 900 meter of the sea. thx
good shit thanks
ros short You are welcome!
hi ive got a 2015 300 exc , 3 hrs only ,, but jetting is off, in traffic slight throttle its splutters bad , but it rips when i open it up , is there any way of cleaning this up, ? thanks mark
good vids by the way very helpfull
mark topliss You've got the wrong jets and needles in the carb. $100 says it's jetted too rich for your altitude. Could also be an air screw problem. You'll have to tinker a bit to lean out the carb. Get a leaner needle and a leaner needle position with the clip. We have a couple of videos on this.
I was going with that idea.
Sedona MX907 is a good tire for the stuff it looks like you ride most .
lowell curtis That tire comes highly recommended by Jeff Slavens too, so I think I'll give it a try the next time around.
Building my son an 01' Cr 125 to match my 01' 250 His will be getting one and for 60 bucks it seems like a no brainer. I like the aggressive tread and wide spread knobs , hopefully it will perform well in this Georgia red clay :)

How is the FMF Turbinecore2 compared to the stock pipe? I mean is it much louder or is it more or less the same. I dont want it too loud...
Is the kx250 okay for me?
I'm just getting started this sport
Need Advice please
Sorry bad English 😅
Adams Shaharizal yes, if you can handle it
where do you buy all this stuff at cause i need a new throttle assembly for my ktm 350 sx-f
Tel Osterhout Rocky Mountain atv mc
Like the Boston 😉
Besides the dealership where can I purchase oil and other parts for my 250ktm 2stroke
djm93 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is an incredible resource for parts and oil. They ship fast and have good service. I've also found oil and such on Amazon. Between those two places, you should never want for parts!
Rocking But Steady olp
hi there have you had any shifting problems, my 15 300 exc six days with 13 hrs (road use only) wont change down to 2nd and 1 st. If you have how did you fix it please.
+lussolararonin I've never had that issue on any bike I've owned. Might need to take that to a dealer/mechanic to have it checked out.
so are you going to get a 16? you seem to get a new one every 2 yrs?
+dring83 I have a 2015 300 XC now. Who knows what this year will bring...
Do you suggest a powercore 2 fmf shorty or a just a powercore 2 pipe? For a Yz 125
lifetime13 I haven't used the shorty, so I can't really comment on that. I like the turbine core 2 silencer, it's a great one.
Thanks, I just bought the turbine core2 for my bike
+lifetime13 great choise, shorty silencers are super loud and will become annoying
Can I put the slavens s3 head on my 2007 ktm 300xc or is there something else that is kind of like it
Ryker Parkinson I honestly don't know if it will work or not. Sorry.
What's the difference between your model and six days
Phen0mable About a thousand dollars :) No seriously, the six days model has a bunch of goodies on it from the factory like a pipe guard, and skid plate, and some other things to help guard it from getting beat up. They are great, but pretty expensive. I'd rather save the money and put my own goodies on the bike. They do look cool though.
Dirt Bike Channel are you saying that it would be cheaper to get regular model and then buy all this bits and bobs yourself?
Phen0mable
Yes, you can save some money that way.
Friend of mine had 125 KTM (smoker) and infected me with riding in woods :-)
I definitely wanna go for exc 300 (smoker) but I don't think I can afford a new bike. It would be a bit daft (IMO) if I go for new I think. I would cause too much damage to it so I better go for 2nd hand, learn how to ride it properly and then go for new. I like six days very much.
Phen0mable
I certainly can't fault your logic.
What do you think about the rekluse clutch
Michael Palmer I'm not a huge fan of it. I'm more of a purist when it comes to that sort of thing. I don't want to spend 1K on an upgrade that really only makes me lazy and makes me forget how to properly use the clutch for power control. I don't want to become dependent on it.
You done anything to your truck or just stock?
+RaspyRascal Just rims and tires.
Wouldn't keeping it stock be better? That's what dirt rider said. They have engineers that comb threw their bikes so they run their best
+dawnof666 No, keeping it stock is a good starting point, but it's not better. Having hundreds of hours on these bikes now, I can say that with authority.
Seems. It's nice. amazing strange What do you think? !!!
is it normal to go from a 172 to a 168 main jet when replacing the top end?
Yes it is
cool bike....
TUSK off road. in poland that will be really famous company ehehehe
What is the power valve?
Do you have a 2 stroke KTM? We go over where to find it and how to adjust it in the video at about the 3 minute mark.
Why is the silencer so important?
Mind Faq forest riding
Im cookin tonight just keep on tokeing ! fucking love Boston haha
+savagex466 A little Boston never killed anyone.
You should have bought a front pipe guard
You are probably right... and if I had a money tree, that would have made the list :) You know how that goes.
if ever your in the uk we have some excellent endure trails here in south wales.
gr8 videos thanks
jason williams That would be amazing. Some day... some day...
Dirt Bike Channel i fitted a jd jetting kit to my 2015 exc 300 as I could not get the jetting correct here in the uk with temp around 4 degrees above freezing. They supplied 35 pilot 165 main with a modified needle.I have had 4 300 2 strokes and this now runs so smooth from bottom to flat open.
i imported the kit from the us.
how much does a KTM 300 cost?
Arak Seepoom Depends on where/when you buy. They are about $1000-$500 cheaper than the 4 strokes generally. Plan on about $8000 - $8600 give or take, plus tax and fees when buying new. I bought my last two 300s for for $8000 plus tax.
Dirt Bike Channel wow, that price is most of a used car. not that you can drive a used car over rocks and logs. it would be fun to have one though. there is a blue book for motorcycles too isn't there?
@@arakseepoom5784 costs about 1300 on the used market for an 01 model
How do you get your bike so fucking clean???👍
Magnus3878 We actually did a video on that. It's one of the recent ones.
th-cam.com/video/Sczyvf2LO38/w-d-xo.html
O man I have a idea for you. If its one guy that can pull it off its YOU. I'll send it on the next comment
Nice Video Rocking But Steady gotta love the KTM300. just found your channel & subscribed, you should check out some of our videos I think you might like them all the way from Australia. Keep up the 300 videos!
that bike is legit MINT, HOW!???
I enjoy your video's,Check out Dicks racing for carb mods. Thanks for the tubeless info!
Thanks Mark!
have fun patching it if its tubeless
lord myron You just stick a plug in the tire and keep riding. TuBliss is AWESOME!!
lord myron It's infinitely easier and faster, just put a plug in it and air it back up.
9 psi in the front, 4-6psi in the back depending on conditions.
so like a car tire plug quick fix
i like the cat fase
Steering Damper, not Dampener lol, I know I know dampener sounds soo right!!
Never seen a $22000 KTM before .well maybe I have
