Adam, I own 2012 EXC450. Watching you and Toby ride together on those bikes remind me of why we all ride. It's not speed or ability, it's the absolute fun factor. In the bush with your mates doesn't come any better. And I am 59. Good on you. Cheers Rob.

Dude, that tight tree pass at 4:46...i mean, my mind struggles still even after replaying it for 5 times...Adam went on the right for a ,,safe`` pass in absence of more adequate word, but Mr Price here was feeling a bit philosophical like ,, if i dont chop the tree in the forest with my handlebars, is the tree even there?`` nuts riding...

They probably change the airfilters, oilfilters, check tolerances on pistons, jugs, etc.. and do periodic maintenance 10foldplus better than you. Oh hey!!! it's Enduro Kex,,, WASSUPPP?!!!??

I'm pretty sure they just make some of the stock parts shit so people have to buy from their "powerparts" division. The "powerparts" shit is just like buying replacement OEM parts that the damn bike should have came with stock, considering the outrageous cost of a KTM!
Cameron Putt totally agree.. my brand new 2015 350 xcf came with so much shit I had to change. Garbage. Then you have to buy the power parts. $9000+ for the bike and then you have to add all their shit. They can't even put a fucking side handle on it.

I think it would do just fine. I took my crf 70 and crf100 in sand and they did just fine.
How tall is the guy riding the 500
7:20 Do that to a CRF and you lose half, if not all, the engine oil out of the breather pipe. Try to restart it and you risk burning your engine. And then you're stuck in the middle of nowhere. Not to mention the money needed for repairs. Too much worrying, too much drama. You just get a KTM and enjoy your rides.
im maintaining two ktms a honda and a suzuki and the sx250 runs basically with money

re handguards - these ktm-ones fell off after 2 times hitting the ground (no crashes just backwheel slipping off) ... reason: it is made from two kinds of plastic - and when it gets cold 3-5° it pulles over between these two plastics ... and breakes trough ... would not recommend these handguards at all - get those made from one peace of plastic they do not break as easy!

That metal bash plate is pure crap. I have it for my Husky, it's too low (catches on trees and gets you stuck), and it is too narrow not providing any real side protection. Waste of money. I have the TM Designs plastic, and really like it.
If you want to make your bash slide guard last? Blue loctite the screws, zip ties to secure the plate as well. Sick of tossing away $120 each time the trail rips it off.... Might add 10-20 minutes per bike cleaning, but worth it!

In Germany you get a KTM EXC 500 2014 for about 9K...just sayin...
My old 620sc gives me as much fun as any sparkly new machine and set me back 2k. Awesome quick and I love the left kick only because electric starters are for sissies.

upgrades for the newest models? sounds like they are cheating people out of their money. if im paying for a brand new bike, thousands of dollars give me the good shit.
Definitely a bit of that going on... Why put a plastic guard on when it falls off after a couple minutes of what the bike is designed to do... Sounds faulty to me, and we have to pay to fix it.
Rusty Shackleford you just have to use a ziptie to fix it on the frame, so it wont fall off anymore... i've done this myself because my KTM Dealer told me to do and ist works!

is the gas tank easy to break ?!
You'd have to do some crazy stuff in order to break the tank.. I crashed my 2013 500EXC at about 90mph/140kmh doing a speedrun and had a tankslapper. The bike made a couple of flips and ended up in a ditch. The subframe was bent about 10cm to the right, but that's all. These bikes are solid!

I think i am going to get those handguards i bought some aftermarket ones and they dont fit my bike so i'm gonna try these but hopefully they are more solid than the ''mx hanguards'' that came with my bike and lasted about a month.

And now for another commercial break, so why doesn't KTM supply good gear in the first place? Because their bikes are unfinished unreliable overpriced and not fit for purpose as sold. If we motorcyclists were not so stupid we would return them to seller inmediately for our money back, as per law in the UK
