I’ve tried to run this, alerts go through fine but tries to create position size way larger than initial capital so doesn’t place trade due to insufficient funds, what have I missed?
Hey there! No, you haven’t missed anything. I wasn’t detailed enough about the position sizing configuration for the envelope strategy case-my apologies for that. It’s a bit trickier than it seems. Trying to set the size as a percentage of the portfolio equity doesn’t seem to work properly. The best approach is to set a fixed amount directly in the Pine Script code using the qty parameters of the strategy.entry functions. Hey! Thanks for the tip. I've tried things like that and ended up convincing myself it was not worth it. I was getting the feeling, that the reduction of the maximum drawdown, was not genuine, it only came about because the profit were reduced. A question: did you find that this additonal rule increased the winrate?

Glad you enjoyed! Yes indeed market orders only. No I don't think this mechanism is possible, for this kind of support you'd have to move to programing languages like python.
HI Team, Could you please let me know the condition to enter only when the trigger candle high/low is taken ??. Currently the execution is happening at trigger candle close...
@robottraders , Hi I mean, I want the code to enter only when the signal candle high is taken. Instead the existing code is generating signal at signal candle close ..plz suggest .
Thanks! Yes, I believe it does at a "live" level. It acts like a simple copy bot. Any action triggered on TradingView is sent to the signal bot, and all orders are market orders. It does not place an entry order with a stop loss attached to it per se, but a market order is placed when TradingView signals that the position was closed (whether it is due to a stop loss, a take profit, or another exit condition).

I add RSI 1 Hour Time Frame to trade only when between 70 and 30 and RSI EMA Trend for Long and Short. This improved the Max Drawdown

Hey, there is no team, only me ;). I don't understand your question, what do you mean buy "the trigger candle high/low is taken"?

@@krc77777 Nope. The code enters when the price hits an envelope level. High or close is irrelevant.
