Overcast is pretty much our normal here in Pittsburgh. But the silver lining? Beautiful, lush, green Springs that stay green until Autumn. As someone who likes the clouds and rain, this city is wonderful! We're rated only below Seattle and Buffalo for cloudy days-per-year.
Pittsburgh Baseball club in 1891 signed a ball player that was to play for the Athletics. They accused Pittsburgh of "pirating" away their player. The fans liked it and the nick name stuck.

Pittsburgh is such a hidden gem. Alongside Cincinnati and Kansas City. The cost of living in these cities is good compared to most cities too.

Mt. Washington does have restaurants that over looks the city, such as the La mont restaurant, among others..
