    As I mentioned in the video about being intentional. Here are some examples of being intentional: Festivals with a theme, Real estate agents, and local shops. The one thing all these ideas have in common is being intentional, Etsy is very passive. Watch this video next: th-cam.com/video/Am-s3P1hLDQ/w-d-xo.html

    i 100% agree to th "Don´t post to reddit". I recently 3D printed a bike pedal because the original one broke and i simply thought it was intersting to see how it would hold up and holy hell, i started a war in the subreddit. People insulted me for printing that bike pedal like crazy because of safty reasons and told me i am gonna die a horrible death because if it. Now, i am not using this pedal on anykind of sports bike, just your regular bike used for the regular trip to work. I tried to explain them the situation an that i was totaly fine to live with the risks of using that pedal but it was already too late, its just nuts how people there go after you if you do anything slightly controversial, and if it isn´t controversial, they will find a way to mock you anyways. The pedal is currently one month in use, no proplems at all and since i survived the original pedal failing on me, i am confident that i will survive the printed one too. If i don´t, consider it natural selection...

    That is the first video I watched from you and I'm hooked.
    I happen to have an almost-industrial cnc, but I've came accross this video while looking for general side-business, or "hobby business" ideas (if that makes sense).
    I find that you are a great communicator, you look trustworthy, and on top of that, your tips and insights are very motivating.
    (English is not my first language, I apoligize for the mistakes)

    Thanks for your always good tips and suggestions. Putting yourself out there, whether in person or online is a must if you want to create or build a business. If you don't do that, you will be the only one who knows what you're doing.

    Hey just wondering what feeds & speeds do you use for oak? I keep getting a rigid finish when v carving due to vibrations, im using a 90 degree v bit, was thinking maybe the feed rate or plunge rate is wrong

    Great video. I use my CNC plenty, but mainly as an addition to my projects that are already in the works, rather than stand-alone CNC projects. However, maybe stand-alone or dedicated CNC projects are what's next for me!

      @AndyBirdBuilds  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome! When you say you use your cnc to add to projects, is this mostly in the form of personalization?

      @@AndyBirdBuilds Absolutely. Personalization, custom parts, inlays, etc.

    Knifemaker here, Ive gotten more love and sales from Reddit than literally anywhere... why do you say this? Legit curious. I use a cnc for my knife scales (composite) and I am looking to expand my knifemaking business to my current customer base, so it would have to involve some type of knife related product, sans cutting boards and knife blocks as everyone makes them.

    Digging your content as this aspect has been missing in the CNC business community. Saw you had a clip with Tesla, Dodge, Lexus. Is there an issue sell such items due to copyright issues? I understand if there gifts, but selling them seems complicated.

    • @AndyBirdBuilds
      @AndyBirdBuilds  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great! Thanks for the feedback. I'd be careful selling copyright items unless you have permission. Making a couple for friends and family is one thing, selling them to the masses is a another

      Sorry to hear your having a hard time with Carbide Create. There isn't an easier software that I know of but I think with some more practice you can get it! Carbide 3D TH-cam channel has some good videos on getting started with Carbide Create too.
