Picked up a FIFINE T669 for use with GarageBand. Can’t tell you how impressed I was with the quality and sound for the price. Once processed with eq, reverb and other effects it’s perfect.
I've been watching reviews on these cheap mics, with headphones, and I really think they sound good, just different than the expensive mics that they are putting them up against. I think the only people that would be bugged by it are people that do audio for a living. Everyone else probably think they sound great.
Hey Michael, appreciated your review of the Fifine T669 it will be useful for my videos when travelling and quality of sound is great to be honest for that low cost price microphone. I will order one through your link for sure, keep up the good work ;-)
The comparison between the Fifine and the Shure was DAY AND NIGHT lol. The Fifine sounds a bit lacking in the low end and missing some clarity...but a little EQ could help that. For the price and everything you get with the fifine bundle, definitely seems like a great starter purchase
okay so, I dont need the pop filter and I can set that piece of crap to the side. Cause it WILL NOT bend the way I need it to bend. BTW best mic I've ever bought
Hello. Does it need a specific program or application to work? Write to me how to install it on the computer, whether with the application or without it.
Wow, this would be a piece of cake for someone who can see, but is going to be a challenge while visually impaired. I'm going to have to figure out some way to lower that whole boom arm because it's going to get in the way of my video game screen. How are you recording outside with a USB mic, are you feeding it into a laptop? That sounds inconvienent to carry around. Is there some kind of like just little self contained recorder that takes USB input in that is small as an mp3 player a person could use instead? That a person could walk around with and hold the mic up to someone's face they were interviewing like a man on the street kind of interview.... (you don't want to be carrying a laptop on your back).
If the Zoom audio recorder is too bulky for you (though they're available in small size ones, just not sure if that's small enough), btw, those analog device won't take USB digital input, then consider something like the wireless lav mics that can fit your requirements.
The performance won't vary on different software. So just choose the one that you're most familiar with, then you can get the best out of the software.

I have this microphone and I result in carrying around my Elgato Wave 1 between my offices to avoid using it. I do use all the mounts and my arm fell apart after a year of use.
Sounds like you must have an older version of it then if it’s been over a year. As for sound quality I haven’t compared it to the Elgato Wave 1, but I can’t imagine one could tell the difference between the T669 when calibrated properly. I’ll see how it holds up over time though.
Hi Rocko, we're sorry about this issue. But not sure if it's the broken issue that made you stop using the T669 or it's the sound quality. If it's the first one, we have a two-year warranty covered for every microphone from our official channel. If you're not satisfied with the sounding, maybe you could let us know more details of the problem so that we can tell how to help out? Because the T669 and the Wave are more of a streaming microphone, in that aspect, the sound quality of the microphone itself doesn't have a huge difference. The T669 lacks the mid-session thus Wave 1 is a more balanced microphone. But set the Wavelink software aside, the T669 could still stack up again the Wave 1. And if the included software is to be considered, the price is twice as much as the T669. Therefore, the Wave 1 is set to be for those users who have a higher demand for sound quality.
I was able to fix the arm, so it’s a sound quality issue. I use my Wave and the Fifine for conference calls over MS Teams. My Wave has constant gain and input, where the Fifine needs to be helped by placement or a dB boost. I appreciate you reaching out, and that speaks loads for your customer service. Thanks!
@@FIFINE Thanks for the late answer. I've had the microphone for around 4-5 months now and I am very happy with it and the mute function works perfectly.
Do you want to hear the mic sound coming out from the mic or the computer? Since it doesn't have live monitoring jack, you have to record down the mic audio then to play it back.
@@Lawkiiiii I think you mean after connection it still didn't work. Try it out on your phone voice recording app first, test it out by turning the mic dial all the way down to see if your phone is still recording.
I'm from India and I want to start a podcast youtube channel I'm looking for a budget microphone so this is good or not pls reply to me love from India ❤
If your budget is around $50, it's definitely one of the best for its crispness and a bit more bass to round your voice to sound less harsh than you heard from most condenser mic.

Sounds Great and just shows you don't need (VS WANTS) to spend $700 on a MIC... !
Thanks for reviewing this! GREAT DEAL!
@@RVingwithG glad to help. Was really surprised. I really had thought there would have been a much bigger difference.

That's good to know. Can I ask if you are using it on GarageBand on MacOS or iOS/iPadOS?
it's such a good mic! im still so impressed with the quality, it almost sounds too good
I ordered one for myself and I'm really impressed with the quality of the sound can't wait for it to arrive
Thank you for the review. I find this very useful especially that brief tutorial on setting up the bundle. Cheers!
Great review. I was wondering if my desk would fit the clamp but now I know it will fit. I also am glad to see a nice full review.

Great in depth video Michael! 🙌🏻 Isn't it a wonderful mic for the price! Insane bundle!!
Right now I am using my Built-in MIC and web cam and it is saving me that $700 you spent on A MIC. Thanks for the heads up, I may look into this.

The t669 sounds dang good. For under $60 bones you can’t hate.
I bought it for $50! getting it tomorrow hope it's worth all the hype!
I likr the fifine better... Not sure why
Thanks for this information! I’m looking for 3 mics and arms for my upcoming podcast and I think I’d be happy with this too!
That's some really decent audio performance for the price!
Damn! if the echo is too bad in that room, I had to rewind the video when I noticed the audio change and it sounds pretty awesome!
Ordered one for 43$. Bang for the buck. I have one question. Have you post processed T669 sound recordings or is it how it sounds out of the box?
It is not processed and how it sounds right out of the box.
Literally nice review

Hey does this work with all laptops or just mac
Any computer!
Mines didn’t come with a tripod I hope I didn’t throw it away or something but I wouldn’t miss that
Sorry about the confusion! The version on sale on the market doesn't include the tripod anymore.
Will the T669 be compatible with a sound card?
No, no USB mics can be used with sound cards directly.
Mine makes a buzzing noise while recording? Anyone know why?
Where can I buy the metal ring?? Can anyone help?
Does this mic have a mute button or do you've to use the volume slider?
Psure the front has the volume slider button on the mic
You have to use the volume dial on the front of the microphone body.
